All I want to stay is that this office has always delivered nothing shy of awesome patient care and patient/customer service. The check in employees are friendly, efficient, courteous and professional. The physician assistants/nurses are equally as willing to please and treat patients. The physicians are knowledgeable, friendly and treat me with dignity no matter what health concerns I have. The office is always super clean and comfortable. Terrible experience, waiting over an hour just to be checked in. I see one person working and everyone else just gingerly walking around! I went back and I have to call a spade a spade. This time, they were attentive, the doctor really tried help and drain my finger. I went for a follow up today and the doctor really did a great job!

You should update your website to say that you are only doing COVID tests for people with symptoms. I came only to go sign in and read this disclaimer “if you are not experiencing symptoms please make an appointment with your local pharmacy”. Well no local pharmacy had any available appointments any time soon that’s why I came here .

This was my second visit in a year. Though there was a long wait this time due to being short staffed, every Proffesional made me feel I was their primary focus when with me.Excellent care! I highly recommend Patient First of Annapolis.

The wait was 3 hrs long but the staff was honest about it from the beginning which was awesome. Plus being able to wait in the car was great too. Given how busy the center was, your staff from the front desk person to nurses and doctors could not have been nicer. Thank you!! Will be back when needed without question.

Awful experience. My son had a gash on his chin, a very common area to break open. After checking in, we waited hour and half to get in a room, only to be told by the DOCTOR that she was not comfortable stitching the chin area! She referred us to the pediatric emergency room. Pretty sure you shouldnt be a Doctor if you cant stitch up the chin!! The ER people/Doctor stitched him up quickly and said that Patient First never should have turned him away. Dont go here, unless you want to wait forever only to be turned away! Will not be going back.

What a beautiful facility and lovely people working here. I fractured my elbow and came in for an x-ray and they were patient, thorough and very pleasant. Especially Tracy at the front desk and Jackie the PA.

This clinic and the people working there are all first class. Caring, thorough and great listening skills. They treated both myself and my husband. My husband is a very complicated case health wise and they did not miss a thing with their questions, examination and the ordering of tests. I know there is a wait to be seen but this was a Saturday mid day. Believe me we were more than willing to wait for this kind of professional treatment. This is a five star clinic.

This was my best urgent care experience by far. Everyone was extremely competent and on top of things and the whole process was very streamlined and quick. It was right after work so I expected to be there hours but was in and out within probably 45 mins. I also appreciate the extra thoughts like phone chargers.

Doctor was creative, smart, and I believe ultimately right in her diagnosis. The staff overall was excellent. The whole experience was way better than I expected. There was a wait time, but that is not surprising.

The care was very good, so a 5 for that but I had to wait a very long time. Also, the Patient First portal is more trouble than its worth. Took about an hour to get signed up. Then it requires two factor identification. It says you can remove it but I went into settings and it would not let me remove it.Also, when asking for a review it said something about providing physician referrals. I asked for a referral, they told me they did not do that.

2 hours and still waiting. If I had known, I would have gone elsewhere. They don’t tell you how long it will be when you check in. I will not be recommending this place to anyone else again. They used to be great when they first opened.

Very satisfied. The gentleman that took my information down before going back was wonderful and very sweet and kind. I also came back the following week to pay my copay and the lady took me in right away and was a delight to deal with. I cant say enough about Dr. Ann Bowyer. I have had her before and she is excellent! She is very compassionate, listens and is thorough in her examinations. She also took care of my brother a year or so back. He has a slight disability and she was great. Sadly the first time I brought him in they had a doctors assistant, nothing wrong with doctors assistants but she was rude and misdiagnosed my brother, it was obvious that she did not like her job and did not know how to diagnose. So when the issue did not clear up, we came back again. Needless to say that lady is no longer there. This site is very convenient and I give it at 10. I did give a 9 for the wait time, because we did have to wait an hour, however that really is through no fault of the facility. It is very popular and its an excellent place and in high demand when you cant see your own primary physician. Thank you for making my visit a good one, especially when I was doing so poorly.

The best urgent care place. They are efficient, professional, and the staff shows that they care about you. The facility is clean and modern and friendly. In the exam rooms, there is a framed print asking things like are you chilly? let us bring you a jacket. Thirsty? can we bring you a tea or coffee? Need to charge your phone? Charger over here... Its such a nice touch that makes you feel cared for. Our kids seem to always get injured or sick when their regular doctors office is closed, so its nice to have an off-hours place that feels at least as good as their regular doctor. We have been to many urgent care places - this one is the best by far.

I should have done this a long time ago I did it through video that lady listen heard what I needed for medication understood that I had a health condition and understood my doctor was retired and help me immediately took less than 5 minutes to get my medication that I needed thank you so much

Avoid this place the best you can. This was my second visit hoping it wasnt like the original. Guess what? It was. Staff seems very disinterested and there is no sense of urgency anywhere in the building. They will send someone in to the room to swab and take blood before even seeing a doctor. Screams of just another medical money grab . Checked in at 12:30 on a Wednesday afternoon and walked out after exactly 3 hours of waiting. I asked is there an estimate of time remaining and was told, No and there are still 2 people ahead of you . Not very comforting there was 5 ahead 3 hours ago.

This is a nice place to go when you are sick but the wait time could very from time to time but everyone is friendly and nice

I like coming here more than my PCP. Short waits, friendly staff, no appointments required, and great care. And I love that there’s a pharmacy on site. I also love the print outs I get that describe the diagnosis for when my wife asks and I have to say I wasn’t paying attention. There’s nothing not to love.

1 star only because 0 wasn’t an option.Poor communication about wait time. I was put into a room for an hour and no one came to check on me or ask if I needed anything. No one offered ice for my obviously swollen leg, no one offered an anti-inflammatory, no one suggested I elevate my leg. 1 hr I sat there with the curtain open, staring at staff as they walked by, and not one person gave me an update about wait time, asked if I needed anything, etc. When I commented about it the nurse said “we’ve been busy today, we’ve seen over 200 patients.” Maybe you should take the sign off the wall in the exam room telling patients to let staff know if they need anything. Clearly patients’ needs are low priority.

I always use Patient First for after hours care. The wait is minimal. The staff if very friendly and helpful. They have information posted in the rooms now informing you to simply ask if you need a warm blanket, tea/coffee/water, to charge your phone, and other items. I’ve never seen that anywhere else. I don’t like going to the doctor but they make it so easy.

Overall great experience from everyone. Staff, nurses and doctor. Best experience at an urgent care facility. I wish most doctor offices were run like this.I went in to get a pre-op checkup as I am new to the area and did not have PCP. I had blood drawn, lab work done, an EKG, general checkup and discussion. Everything was completed including the lab results before I left and I was given a copy of everything. All my questions were answered. I was not there for much more than an hour. Great and efficient care. Way more than I was expecting.

Very thorough with everything. The staff was AMAZING, professional & very attentive 2 my needs. Explained the whole process 2 me from beginning 2 end. They were very understanding. Facility is very clean. I really appreciate everyone there.

Painfully slow been here for 4 hours now for a rapid test. Pretty sure they forgot about me in the actual doctors office.

Ive been to this urgent care facility twice in the last two weeks. While the wait on my second visit was longer than I would have liked, both times I was professionally treated with competence and respect. Even though I have at least three urgent care facilities closer to my home, I would not hesitate to drive the extra distance to return to this one.

Great care, and a great staff that take good care of their patients. Give good advice. Service is more quicker than waiting in the emergency room. I was very pleased with the service.

Dont have good insurance, they like to waste your time and money doing repeat tests. If you say you decline the test they let you sit in a room forever. Absolute waste of time.

Staff was great, top to bottom. The visit was quick and efficient and got me all the information I needed. I hope I don’t need to come back but if I do, I know I’ll be well taken care of.

Waited 4+ hours with an actively bleeding dog bite. Staff was pleasant but the wait time was unbelievable.

This facility refuses to do COVID rapid test. Do not even attempt to get a rapid test here. Website says that they do rapid testing, but they do everything they can to not let you get a rapid test including - threatening a strep test and telling you that you will have to wait in the room for an hour after you are tested. PCR? No problem - suddenly a strep test isn’t needed and you can walk right out and they will call you with the results. Sniffs of insurance fraud. Don’t be fooled.

It wasn’t crowded & I was able to be seen quickly. Facility was clean & everyone on staff that I interacted with was very friendly. Loved the convenience of being able to get my prescription on site - so I was able to go straight home & work on getting better.

Dr. Moghadam was very short and provided no information on how to take care of my broken toe. I was handed a paper and that was it. I would’ve liked some Verbal communication. Second I was given a paper that I had a high BMI and how to take care of that. That has nothing to do with why I came in and honestly pretty insulting considering I am very aware and again not why I came in. I waited over an hour before anyone came in my room and no one even checked on me. I could hardly walk and I wasn’t offered any crutches or even a wheelchair.

Very clean. Caring staff. Also I really liked the sign in the exam room that encouraged a patient to ask for what they need: blanket, drink, etc. felt very welcoming, and way less sterile than I’ve come to expect in a medical setting.

Excellent service all around- PA Evelyn Shapter saw my daughter, listened to her RA/SA joint pain, recognized her pain, was familiar with the snippets of visits we had in the past as we worked toward a rheumatic doctor and quickly recommended an immediate pain relief until she saw her specialist- which wouldn’t be until 3 weeks.A good old fashion no nonsense care solution

The huge advantage of coming to Patient First is that everyone is really warm, nice and caring. Plus of course the efficient and professional care.

The staff here is very caring and efficient. They are thorough in their treatment. I always feel that I am taken care of very well when I come here. From the front desk to the physicians, there is a feeling of warmth in this clinic.

The P.A. Evelyn Shapter was very friendly, knowledgeable and understanding. This has been one of the most positive experiences I have had with Patient First and have always been satisfied with my previous visits there. I highly recommend this practice.

I developed a horrible rash and went to patient first in Saturday6/19 /21. I signed in and waited in my car as I am an RN and do not know if this is a parasite or something I could transfer to their seating and hurt other pts. I waited 3 and a half hours and went back in twice to ask how much longer. The second time I went in and a young lady at the front told me I wasn’t even on the list to be seen. Obviously I did not get treated and will NEVER go to Patient First again. They are disorganized and useless. Pick another urgent care or you too could be waiting 3 1/2 hours for nothing only to be casually told I can sign up again by their untrained staff

This patient first is fast and efficient. Their staff is knowledgeable and compassionate. 10/10 would recommend to any friend or family member and will be returning for any needs I have in the future !!!

I was incredibly impressed by my experience, I came in feeling faint and had very low blood pressure.. I was assisted immediately by MA Laura, who was understanding, empathetic, and reassuring. Very good customer service! Five stars!

I got a Covid test Saturday afternoon and have not gotten the results yet so I cant give a review of satisfaction as I am still waiting.

Saved life. Immediately gave an EKG and diagnosed issue. Ended up having. Heart surgery .Dr. Moghadan didn’t waste anytime and knew exactly what tests to do and listened. The blood drawer is amazing g too. He put in the needle and didnt even feel it. Great place where you can get everything done in one place, X-rays, ekg, blood work and even your prescriptions. Clean place and everyone so nice.

I had a great visit, good people good service and I was able get stitched back together and bandaged up in a reasonable amount of time for a Friday rush hour time.I hope I don’t have to go back but will if I ever need to. Thank you

Service is always good but the wait times are absurd. They think it’s good enough to get you into a room to wait but then you sit in there for an hour!

The front desk is so nice and reasonably fast. They will place you in a room to wait 1.5 hours for a doctor.

Dr. Heather was great! I do not remember the name of the nurse but she was outstanding! Give them both accolades. I was in tremendous pain and they took great care if me!

While check in was expedient for a family member who had an extremely painful sprained ankle. no crutches offered or recommended just a quick xray and told a radiologist would read the xray in 24 hours or so and call if it was a broken bone. The ankle wasnt even professionally wrapped. I have to say I was expecting more. But they were expedient in getting you in and out fast. and there was a printed sheet that spit out directions that looked like a CVS receipt as it was long like the multiple coupons and stuff that CVS gives with their receipts. Maybe we should have gone to an ER instead? So three stars for expediency but after that I feel like our computer gave us as much if not more advice than we got from going there.

I wanted to give Patient First a chance after having a terrible experience at the AFC in Edgewater. They surely surprised me as the staff and assistants were all nice and efficient to get me taken care of. I will absolutely drive the extra few miles past AFC to go to this Patient First.

Patient first is above and beyond even my general practitioner. They are thorough, and professional. The staff are all 5 star.

Patient First is the best in every way. It is my go-to for urgent care, which for me has ranged from COVID testing, to tick bite, to stitches for a nasty wound. Their patient-centered practice is refreshing, and their competence is reassuring.

Administrative staff, support staff and medical personnel were very professional and understanding and capable. Waiting time was minimal and social distancing policy was adhered in the waiting. I was offered the option to wait in my car should I so desire .

I am so impressed with the service I received today on Christmas Day. Everyone I interacted with was kind and compassionate. I can’t say enough. I felt welcomed and it shows that customer service and patient care are number 1 at Patient First. I am so thankful the Annapolis Patient First was open today! They even filled my prescription for me so I wouldn’t have to search for an open pharmacy on Christmas Day.

Great ancillary staff! Techs were nice, pleasant. Staff diligent in disinfecting common areas. Physician was thorough, friendly, and took time to explain everything. 10/10

Waited more than an hour for a “rapid” test, and when I asked they said they don’t know how much longer it would take.

Everyone at Patient first, staff, Nurses and Drs are always kind and courteous. I really loved the care Dr.Hook provided me during this visit. She did any amazing job at suturing up the cut on my hand and made me feel at home while at a doctors office. The whole visit was 10 out of 10! 🙂👍

Ive always had a pleasant experience here. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Usually little to no wait time.

Due to COVID, my pcp did not allow sick patients in their office, so they recommended I go here. I was in and out in less than two hours. Process from self check-in to check-out was very simple. Everything very clean. Looks like part of an ER and has medical equipment as such, with some tests onsite with immediate results (not a doctors office like Righttime or other urgent care facilities). Most important part is everyone was kind, compassiomate, and patient in my time of pain, extreme discomfort, and sickness.

Just got my physical today. Dr. Bowyer is excellent...so thorough. This is where I will be going for all my primary care and urgent care needs.

Due to my regular family doctor not being available for even a tel-visit for 8 days, and having good recent past experiences for 2 COVID-19 tests with Patient First in Annapolis, I decided to go there again for what turned out to be an ear infection. I arrived around 8:15am and was out of there in less than an hour. The staff was extremely friendly and professional, and Dr. Heather Collison was awesome; straight to the point while being pleasant, friendly, concerned/caring, took time with me to discuss different medication options, and even told me that I could get her prescribed medications for less elsewhere. The fact that she is absolutely beautiful on the outside as well didnt hurt (lol). I feel no need to return to my regular doctor. A huge thank you to the Annapolis Patient First staff and Dr. Collison!

It was the best experience Ive ever had a any type of clinical or medical setting. I was highly impressed with the amount of detail in which Patient First does to make all patients feel like theyre at home. An example was having charging stations to charge electronic devices or offering coffee/water/ECT. And I was able to get my prescriptions right on the spot. Thats saved me time and money!!!

I have gone in the middle of the afternoon during the week a few times in the recent past. I never waited very long and everyone I encountered was super nice and made me feel comfortable. The staff in general is quite pleasant. It is really easy to come here when you need to, get seen, and most of the time get the medications you need directly from them. It is super convenient and efficient.

My experience was one to talk about. I bragged to everyone who didnt have a great experience getting a Covid test. The process seemed safe and everyrhing went extremely smooth. Thank you. This counts as my 3rd day of waiting, and Im confident that Ill have my results today.

All of the staff, from the intake to discharge were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. Additionally, what a great facility! Clean, bright, and able to handle a wide variety of procedures. I had blood work and an x-ray completed on site. Very impressive! I typically think of Patient First as an urgent care provider; however, I read a sign that encouraged utilizing Patient First as a PCP. That is exactly what I plan to do.

Waited well over 2 hours and still didnt get called back. I left I had other things to do.

The facility is modern, spotless and comfortable to wait in. The staff is personable efficient and professional. I called to make an appointment for a knee X-ray. They don’t take appointments. I asked how I am seen. She said you come in, sign in, then wait. So the wait could be how long? I asked. Don’t know, was the reply. Patient First? How about Patient Last? We are in the middle of a pandemic and you want me to sit in your office for who knows how long? My veterinarian runs a much safer operation than this place. No thank you!

The staff at this medical center is the BEST in urgent and I have been to a few. Staff was courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. They set the standard for urgent care!

Our intake customer care representative was by far one of the most pleasant women I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Followed by extremely courteous medical staff. Will not hesitate to recommend and definitely will return in the future
