Does anyone know the name of the optometrist at this location? Ive used him for the past four years or so, and recommend him highly, as his prescription is the most precise Ive ever had. However, good luck getting in touch with him. The optical department at the Sams Club in Annapolis is impossible to deal with. Good luck even getting them to answer the phone. I cant. Making an appointment is impossible, and showing up there to see him without one is futile: they wont let you. Good luck.

So unprofessional and rude. I called to ask if I could make an appointment for an exam and the guy on the phone said sarcastically, um yeah you are calling an optical center, its kinda what we do so I said umm okay, then can you schedule me an appointment for today? He then tells me there arent any appointments open until days later because the doctor is on vacation and decided to go on about it being fully booked and how made the doctor is gonna be so mad. I went through with the later appointment but then decided to stop because the guy on the phone couldnt understand how to spell my name 😐 Im definitely not ever going to go here. Management needs to clearly retrain their staff on how to be professional and on their customer service.

The 5 star rating is 100% deserved, Ive been coming here since 2012 for eye exams, glasses, and contacts and I have never had a problem. This is my favorite place to get my glasses. Affordable frames with good discounts and the doctor and staff are so knowledgeable and friendly! Dr. Mehta makes you feel comfortable and is super kind. The opticians know what they are doing, find you deals, and have created a great environment. In my latest visit one of the opticians (Heather) was so helpful and kind every step of the way! For sure would recommend for glasses, contacts, sunglasses, and eye exams!

Love the doctor! He give a thorough exam and is very professional while being pleasant. The staff takes a while to get to you, though. The prices are pretty good and they have a great selection of glass. The turn around time is very quick.

Absolutely pointless unable to help me for months now to many ridiculous policy’s take you money elsewhere

Literally typing this while Ive waited 30+ minutes at the counter for a pick up order as employees run around in front of me. Understaffed? Decent prices, however.

Went in on a Monday at 5:00 to get a new pair of glasses. Staff member took 20 minutes to figure out what my insurance covered. Usually takes 5 minutes at Walmart. Then she kept getting confused on what I wanted - asked for a new pair of glasses, she kept wanting to just get me new lenses. Finally I got to department manager, who was not much better. A little faster but still kept on getting request wrong and told me a needed a new prescription. Given all the problems, I had with them, I had no faith they would get my prescription right or the glasses fit right. I left and reported issue to Sams Club supervisor on duty. She appologized, but did not offer a solution. I will not be coming back and I would advise anyone to avoid the optical department at this Sams. They are not trained in handling eye prescription and eyewear and waste customers time.
