My husband, Tom and I moved to Ann Arbor last year. I had been taking pilates for 4 years already and my instructor in Milwaukee gave me tips to finding a studio that would be a good fit for me. I tried a couple of studios and Vie was one of them. If you are looking for a studio, VIE is the studio! Im going to be 57 years old this year and I am amazed how my body is continually transforming! I have more body awareness than ever! Whitney is awesome! The classes and instructors are all fantastic! We make financial investments for our future but we should also make health/wellness investments! Give VIE a try!

Both Vie Downtown and Vie Arbor Hills classes are outstanding. I have taken fitness classes from Europe to the US west coast and points in-between, and I swear by Vie. My favorites: spin classes with Rob, Ravnita, and Katherine; barre with Conrad; tower pilates with Donna, Tracy, and Jesse; and best of all, Tower-Spin fusion on Thursdays with Vie owner Heather. These classes have me fitter than ever and enjoying every minute of it (especially when the class finishes!). These are tough, balanced work-outs by instructors who know what theyre doing. Vie is the best!

My Barre class at Vie was great! The class was fast-paced, but the instructor made sure that we were all doing the moves correctly and effectively. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, new workout or even just a good burn!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Vie. Their facility is very nice and conveniently located in downtown Ann Arbor near the University. Their instructors are awesome - so knowledgeable and so nice. The variety of classes they offer all at one location is great (spinning, HIIT, barre, yoga, pilates, personal training, etc.). I would recommend Vie to anyone interested in group fitness classes or personal training. Such a great place!

This has been a life changing experience for me. After having four children I didn’t think there was any hope of getting my body back to “reasonable”...let alone getting my core this strong. It’s improved my posture, my tennis and golf swing and I feel better after each workout. It’s better than getting a massage! I look forward to my Pilates every week as a way of maintaining my body and stress. My amazing instructor, Donna, has studied the true Pilate techniques and is one of the many exceptional staff at Vie.

Vies location in downtown make it very convenient to work out during lunch or after work. The variety of class offerings are great! Acacias classes are so much fun -- upbeat music and fun moves. Her classes fill up quickly so I always have to act fast to get in.

I have been with Vie for approximately 5 years. I participate in their yoga and private Pilates sessions. I am a 72-year old male and I attend Vie at least 2 times per week. My goal in attending Vie is to increase my flexibility, balance and small muscle and core strength. The instructors I use are Donna and Rhonda. I like using Rhonda for yoga because of her approaching in helping me tell the difference between being in pain and being uncomfortable. Donna is a master teacher of Pilates. We virtually never do the same thing twice as each session is a different routine. She explains her work to make sure I am using the muscles I need to maximize the effect of the workout. I can usually feel her workouts the next day, knowing she is making a difference in my body. The facility is clean, quiet and the people are friendly and non-competitive. They do their jobs very well to create an experience that makes me always feel great when I am done.

I just finished the Basic Reformer Class series at the Vie Fitness, Ann Arbor Hills location with Tracy. I thoroughly enjoyed it. She was incredibly knowledgable, pleasant and pushed me past my comfort zone helping me not settle for my status quo and reach measurable improvements. Im looking forward to more sessions. What a beautiful studio. (The free onsite easy parking is an added bonus.)

Vie offers a great variety - with deep expertise in many forms of fitness and wellbeing. As a newer Pilates customer, I have found their instructors are patient, supportive nad ecnouraging and I have felt the immediate benefits after every session.

Great well-informed staff who take a personal interest in your wellbeing. Personal training, exercise group classes, diet advice, yoga, Pilates, smoothies, boot camp in the arboretum and more to chose from. Vie has it all...Heather will even meet with you personally to put together a positive impact program for you!!

Id be lost without Donna! Practicing classical Pilates with her has improved my core strength and posture tremendously. I am tuned into my body in a positive way and am aware of how to counter balance the bad habits. Every session is a challenge and gets me one step closer to achieving a result I wasnt capable of the day before. Donna takes pride in her craft. She is always learning and pushing herself so that she can push me. If you havent tried Pilates, I encourage you to give it a shot --- you will be pleasantly surprised!

Starting Pilates at Vie has been one of the best decisions I made in 2018! I was coming off foot surgery at the end of last summer, and was looking for a low impact way of getting back into physical activity. The Tower classes challenged my body in a way that was safe for my recovery. Even after my foot was at a point that I could handle more impact, I continued the Tower classes because Pilates has made my body feel great! It allows me to stretch and move my muscles in ways I typically wouldnt work them, and also provides me with an hour a day that my mind is turned off from all the daily life issues- the attention to form and muscle control is so important that Im unable to worry anything else :-) The instructors are fantastic, and encourage and motivate me to push myself in each class. Since the classes are small, you are still able to get individualized instruction in a group setting. In the last few months I have switched to a desk job (previously worked in a busy emergency department), and Pilates has helped combat the poor posture and back pain from being in a sedentary position for long stretches of time. Pilates has become part of my weekly routine, and I would encourage anyone to try it!

Before starting Vies Fat Loss program I had been trying in earnest to lose the baby weight from pregnancy for about three years. This involved getting up at 5:30am 3-4 days a week and doing cardio at the gym and I wasnt seeing any significant results, plus I was exhausted. In fact, I felt like my weight was creeping up - it was SO frustrating.The Vie Fat Loss program, for me, was nothing short of miraculous. Twelve pounds lost in twelve weeks?!? Amazing. Three inches lost from my waist; 3 inches lost from my hips; 2.5 inches lost from my thighs, and 1 inch lost from my bicep. Those are numbers anyone trying to lost weight would want to see and I not only saw but felt noticeable differences in the way I looked (my clothes fit so much better, now!). The combination of working with my personal trainer Angel in conjunction with my nutritionist Mariah made for such an effective program and I couldnt have been happier with the results. Angel created tailored workout sessions based on my own skills and strengths and was encouraging the entire way through. Some of the sets that he had me work on I was skeptical I could do (ugh, sets of hop squats), but he knew my limit and he pushed me to challenge myself. Every time I left one of my sessions with Angel, I not only felt stronger but I also felt so much better about myself and what I now knew I could do in the gym. It was an incredible feeling (.... I still hate hop squats, but at least now I know I can do them and that the pain was worth it!).Mariah was never judging about my food choices and helped me work through some of my eating patterns and choices to cultivate a better relationship with food in all aspects of my life - I never felt like I was dieting, I just felt like I was making smarter food decisions. She listened and helped me strategize about the upcoming weeks or events I had on my schedule. We talked a lot about emotional eating and how to distinguish when Im hungry vs emotional eating (a personal struggle of mine). Mariah was extremely knowledgeable and pulled from an impressive amount of evidence-based tools and resources to help me to figure out how to best sustain positive food & nutrition-based changes in my personal behaviors.Honestly I was a little scared to start the program because I felt like I had been working out with no results for SO LONG that I was nervous I would start at Vie and not see any positive changes. That fear was quickly erased and I started seeing steady results in the first weeks of the program. I never had any big drops in weight - but I did see positive results every week, which for me felt totally manageable and sustainable in the long-run.

I am a huge fan of Vie for many reasons, so it’s difficult to keep it brief.Staff, trainers, estheticians, massage therapists AND owners; they ALL care about you having a positive experience and bend over backwards to make sure you do. The variety of classes; Pilates, boxing, barre, yin yoga, nutrition counseling,kettlebell spin fusion, 4x7, personal training; it’s always fresh, you get your butt kicked in a healthy/safe way, have fantastic, experienced instructors who motivate you and most importantly, you are surrounded by positive people helping you achieve your fitness/health goals. I have tried a lot of different places in town but nothing compares to Vie, period. #Viefanforlife.

Ronda has been wonderful in helping me with regaining strength and reducing pain in my hips. The staff have all been open and welcoming.
