I have many good compliments to give J. Steven Banks D.D.S, and his office employees. I first had dental work in the office around 2005. I had more procedures done in 2014. And in 2021, I had seven more visits for dental work. The appointments were made quickly, and there is never a long wait after arriving at the office. The office employees are great at answering any questions. I am highly satisfied with the work, and this office also has the Solea laser machine that enables Dr. Banks to work on teeth without pain killers or shots. I highly recommend J. Steven Banks D.D.S.

Dr Banks has been my dentist for 15 plus years and he still is. Dr Banks and his staff are also the best in Amarillo in my opinion and I would recommend anyone at any age to go see them. There was also a couple of years I didnt think twice about driving 4 hours to Amarillo for Dr Banks and his staff to take care of my teeth. Dr Banks and his staff are professional and friendly from the time you walk in the office (that has the blue door that makes it super easy to locate) till the time you leave. There was a time I needed a little extra work done on my teeth and it took Dr Banks and his staff about 2 months to finish. The day Dr Banks finished, he gave me a mirror and I cried a few tears of joy because I felt like I had the prettiest smile in the room. My self esteem went from 5 to 10. Today was my first visit to Dr Banks office. My experience was outstanding. From the moment I walked into the office I felt at ease. Each staff member was welcoming, professional and thorough in explanation of procedure and overall process. I feel I am at exactly the right place to receive the dental care I need. It took many years to find a dentist office in which I could feel comfortable, but after today I know I have found that place.

The dental care offered by Dr J Steven Banks D.D.S., and his staff is the best. Dr Banks is friendly and always encourages patients to ask questions. He explains all conditions and treatments thoroughly. The staff is also very friendly and well trained. From the receptionist on to Dr Banks, you receive courteous and professional dental care. I have been a patient of his for 25 years and always receive the best of care.

Dr. J. Steven Banks is the best dentist Ive ever visited. The whole office is full of really great people, and if you struggle with visiting a dentist, Dr. Banks and his team do an excellent job of trying to make you as comfortable as possible.Additionally, last year I brought my son (2 years old at the time) for his first real visit to see a hygienist. Again, the team was so gentle (and patient) that my son had a wonderful time! Hes looking forward to his visit next month. Last but not least, finances are explained thoroughly and thoughtfully. This trait shouldnt be overlooked! I would give them 10 stars if I could.

COVID update: I just went to get my semi-annual teeth cleaning done. I had postponed it, but cases are getting lower, so I gave it a try. I was pleased they could get me in quickly. Other than our city’s mask requirements, they took my temp at the door. They had the plexiglass dividers in place & all Personnel wore masks. Dr Banks has always had a clean environment, but I witnessed additional cleaning; so I felt very assured, that I was still in good hands. I love all of these girls & Dr Banks was his normal warm, caring self. I would not go anywhere else!!! ❤️

As usual, Gaby, my Dental Hygienist, did an outstanding job! She is very professional, explains everything, but is also very personable. Gaby sets a standard that would be difficult for any other hygienist to emulate.I have to say that in all my years of dental visits (which is considerable), at a number of different practices, NONE measure up to the excellent services afforded by Dr. Banks.

J. Steven Banks and his team are amazing. Everyone is so sweet and they care so much about me and my family. We love getting our dental work here. The new lazer machine they have to take treat fillings and other dental work is so awesome. Its gentle, fast and painless. I loved how I didnt have to get any shots for numbing or nitrous gas. Dr. Banks and Neely our dental hygienist are so careful and makes the whole process easy and simple. My family has no fears for going to dentist anymore and we recommend them to everyone.

This is the best dental office ever! 🤩 They are on the ball, communicate with each other, do well with my kids and dont loose the money Ive paid them (seriously, a previous dental office and multiple doctor offices have lost the money i paid them and 1 even accidentally sent me to collections). I was warned by another dentist that because of the poor quality of my teeth and gums Im in for early dentures...Dr Banks recommended I switch my toothpaste and mouth wash and I also switched to an electric toothbrush and here I am, more than 10 years later, and my teeth and gums are happy and healthy. All the staff (office and hygienist) and dentist are totally excellent and need to teach other doctor offices and dental offices how to operate well.

Dr. Bank is friendly and caring. His staff know what they are doing. I never feel nervous about going to see them. After they examine your teeth if their is something that needs to be done they talk to you about it before just jumping in to it. My husband and I have been going to Dr. Banks for about five to six years now and are glad to have him as our dentist.

Excellent experience, staff is very kind and friendly. Unfortunately I had a small cavity, but I didnt have to come back to be treated after my cleaning. They were able to squeeze me in immediately and used the new laser to fix my cavity and then gave me a filling. The laser was AMAZING, completely painless with out any shots to numb or topical or gas. Very fast, the whole thing was done in less than 15 mins. Highly recommend to anyone needing dental work. Dr. Banks was great and patiently answered all my questions. This is the only place in Amarillo currently who offer this laser service, go see them! Also this was approved by my insurance so I had minimal out of pocket costs! I will be taking my daughter to him soon as well.

So so happy! I had to pretend to keep my cool when I received my flipper tooth.. I was so insecure about my smile since I was missing a tooth near the front where it was noticeable. As soon as I got out in my car I instantly started crying after seeing my reflection with the biggest smile!! I have had so many bad experiences at dental offices... but the staff here are truly amazing and friendly, they gave me so much information on all the work that I need done and I’ll definitely be back to take care of ALL of my dental work!
