Pinnacle Endodontics is an incredible office, with an even more incredible staff. I had an infected root canal underneath a crown causing me significant pain. Ive never needed major dental work and was anxious about the process, but Dr. Howard and the entire staff made me feel overwhelmingly comfortable. I was seen immediately, had the work done needed and was pain free by the evening. Pinnacle Endodontics is truly great at what they do.

I highly recommend Dr Howard at Pinnacle Endodontics. He was very caring and explained everything he was going to do. We took our special needs son to see him and Dr Howard was very patient and kind and he performed the root canal with no pain. All of the staff were great too, especially his assistant Garrett. From the monument I got there and was greeted by Tawanna I had an amazing experience, which is generally not the case when you have to go to the dentist, it tends to be pretty painful and scary, but this office was both welcoming and gentle to the senses from the paint scheme to the architecture it had an overwhelming feeling of calm and diagnostic expertise. The doctor that attended to me Dr Connor understood my irrational fear of injections into my mouth and made me feel at ease, with the help of his assistant Sheila, they managed to take my mind off of the situation and by the time I realized it he was already done with the injection, I literally didnt even feel it which was a first. And even during the procedure the back and forth he had with his assistant were so professional I and even slightly educational, as I didnt understand everything they were saying but again it made me feel at ease that I had two scientists working on me, Ive never actually fallen asleep while getting dental work, Thats how gentle they were. I cant recommend this facility enough, it really was a top shelf experience. I will definitely be going back when or if I have issues with my smile, Thank you again Dr Connor and team (Sheila)!

My experience with the Pinnacle team and Dr Howard was EXCELLENT! I broke a crown and and a root canal was required. He explained my X-ray, and the procedure. The process was pain free and completed in less than an hour. I received post procedure explanation and instruction sheet with 24 hour phone contact info if needed. GREAT JOB Dr Howard!

Dr. Howard was amazing today! I went To see him this afternoon in pain. He immediately was able to diagnose the problem and save my tooth, even though it was cracked. A painless injection with local anesthesia and he and his assistants Erin and Garrett went right to work. No need to be worried about having a root canal here! It was quick and painless and an amazing experience from the time I arrived until I left! Thanks again for the wonderful care and getting me out of pain!

I had to have an emergency root canal last Friday. I left a message on Thursday evening with Pinnacle, and Twana called me back first thing the next morning! She squeezed me in at 10:00 a.m.! Dr. Howard is absolutely amazing! We have been referring our patients to him for years and I have heard nothing but great reviews. I can officially say he is wonderful. He is very detailed in his explanation of why you need the treatment and the possibilities associated with the treatment. The treatment was painless and done, surprisingly, quickly. The whole staff here is AWESOME. A root canal is never a fun thing but my experience at Pinnacle was as close as you can get! Really enjoyed the music trivia and hearing the guesses...I laughed out loud numerous times during the procedure which I can honestly say has never happed to me before.

I had to go in for a re treatment as I had a missed MB2 from my previous RCT at a different dentist. Needless to say I was apprehensive at first, but the re treatment procedure was relatively painless as they could numb me properly. Hoping for a full recovery this time... Good doctor for RCT and correcting botched RCT done elsewhere...

Absolutely a 5 star experience. I was referred by my primary dentist and was able to schedule an appointment within 24 hours . I went in and had the evaluation and root canal was completed in less than 1 hour. My last cleaning was more uncomfortable than this root canal. Fantastic !!!

I had my first ever root canal yesterday and despite being terrified, Dr. Howard and his assistant Ronda were amazing throughout. They took the time to explain to me what was wrong and why a RCT was the best option for my tooth. Also, because I’m one of those weirdos who has more fear of the unknown, I wanted to see and know everything they were going to do, and they were patient in answering my dozen or so questions. They knew I was anxious and they lightened my mood immensely with their humor and candor.As for the actual RCT processes: it wasn’t as bad as I built it up to be in my head. It took me a bit to get numb—through no fault of their own, I just had a stubborn tooth—but they worked diligently to make sure I couldn’t feel a thing before beginning. The procedure was quick and though it was still as comfortable as a root canal can be, their kindness and humor definitely took the edge off. It’s now 24 hours later and I am a bit sore, but that’s not unusual. However, I am resting easy knowing that I was in good hands and my mouth is well on its way to healing.ANYWAYS, Hopefully I don’t need another RCT for a very long time, but if I do, I won’t hesitate to go back to Pinnacle. Even my general dentist sends her children there, so that definitely says a lot!

I love the way the office was decorated and the staff was pleasant. Dr. Camba was awesome. He explained everything that was going to happen. My root canal went great. I had no pain and went to work the next day.

Don’t choose this place as your root canal treatment place. They will rip you off 100 percent. I visited this Dr Cameron Howard last week. I am a little nervous, because it is my first dental experience for root canal. His assistant gave a x-exam. I had a little gag reflex due to anxiety. They immediately stop everything to me, dr Howard came in my room to tell me that they cannot treat me. Cameron Howard referred me to Morden endodontist in Atlanta Buckhead( this place probably had some kind of financial relations with Cameron Howard) for sedation. They told I have to be sedated for root canal. Of course I do not need sedation, but they refused to treat me without sedation even I am in pain. So I called the Morden endodontist. They told me on the phone, firstly, they don’t accept any insurance card at all, I have to pay cash in full amount. Second, 400 for consultation, 1800 for root canal and 1600 for sedation. Plus I paid 175 for x exam at Howard place. Please count how much I have to pay just for one painful tooth. That’s crazy. Typically the price should be around 1500 for everything. So I went to other place for my root canal. I definitely do not need sedation. I am fine with the whole procedure. So what I want to say is Dr Cameron Howard is impatient, irresponsible. He made wrong judgment as well. Very very bad medical practitioner. The only thing he want from you is your pocket money. He is not worthy of your visit, period.

I was referred to Dr Howard by my dentist. His office was very professional working me into an appointment on short notice. Having had 4-5 root canals done over the years, this was the easiest and most pleasant experience by far. I highly recommend his office and will be back should I need more work done in the future.

I had pain and infection after a procedure performed by Dr. Camba. My dentist explained that it appeared that the root canal was incomplete. Pinnacle sent me a bill for an extra $30 well after the procedure, with no explaination for the charge. I paid it. They lost the payment. Sent me to collections. I paid the collection company TWICE. I provided confirmations of the payment. Pinnacle cant find t those payments and wont make an appointment for me to correct the incomplete root canal and abcess because they cant find the three payments Ive made - all after I paid completely for the procedure at time of service

I had a cracked molar and needed a root canal. I was referred to Dr. Howard and the entire experience was awesome. The front desk folks were welcoming, Erin got my x-rays and prep done, and Dr. Howard did the procedure within 30 minutes. It was literally like getting a filling - zero pain!! Also, some funny stories throughout the procedure. Highly recommend!

Pinnacle Endodontics has their A game on for all aspects of the visit; paperwork, evaluation, cost review, explanation of the work, and execution of the root canals. I’ve had my fair share of root canals and this is by far the best experience. I had two root canals by Dr. Howard and this was the most efficient and painless root canal...EVER!!! As a patient you need to be honest, ask the tough questions and be clear with the Dr before anything begins. I knew what to expect and had no doubt. AMAZING experience..... This was my first root canal, and Ive heard my share of stories. I was extremely nervous, but that was quickly dispelled when I walked into the office. I was cheerfully greeted by the front office staff. Shortly after sitting down Dr. Howards assistant Erin came to take me to the back. Then the fun began. Dr. Howard came in to give me the dreadful injection that was to my surprise completely PAINLESS. After a few minutes I was numb and ready to rock and roll. Dr. Howard was in and out in under 30 mins. It was truly an amazing experience. I would recommend him to everyone. I was so impressed with the entire office.

Dental repair isnt always enjoyable. I cant really say this was enjoyable, exactly, either, but it was not terrible either. They were careful about explaining everything. They were certain I wasnt able to feel anything before starting. Thats so much better than I would have ever expected.

I recently experienced a dental emergency and was referred by my dentist to Pinnacle. I was delighted they could schedule me as soon as they did. Although Ive had several RC treatments in the past, this was my first in several years and I was astounded at the technology Pinnacle uses in its practice. It made for a treatment experience that was shorter - and more pain-free - than any Id had before. The staff observed all the appropriate pandemic protocols, was prompt, courteous and friendly during check-in, and Dr. Camba took me through the entire procedure before beginning...in words I could understand.Im truly grateful for the way I was treated at Pinnacle...and while I dont know anyone that actually looks forward to RC treatment, its comforting to know that these folks are there for us when we need them.

First, I have to start by saying you see anything but a 5 Star rating, it would be a shock. I went to Alpharetta location (Dr. John Camba) - as I had infections that required, 3, yes 3 root canals....talk about anxiety! But, it starts with the first visit/experience, what you see and feel when you walk in - first time. The culture of the staff is visible, genuine and already puts you at ease...it told me a lot about what to expect ahead of my diagnosis and plan. I underscore CULTURE, because that is what sets a practice apart - it is the personality and brand. Simply fantastic, fun, empathetic....on, and on.Second, the patient experience. Dr. Camba and his assistants (Erin and Sheila) do a wonderful job of creating an environment that is relaxing, smooth and unintimidating (thinking about root canals, and the horror stories of others) - considering what a patient may be feeling in terms of tension and ancxiety. Dr. Camba, as I told him, is a fantastic artesian. He did an amazing job on all 3 of my required root canals...so much that I didnt require any post procedure meds! I give credit to his approach, his technique, his temperance and of course to the technology they use - it is the latest and greatest. Further, the partnership between Dr. Camba and Erin, and Sheila, is fantastic - they work as a team anticipating each others needs, while keeping things light to the patient.In closing, if you need a root canal or any other periodontal procedure under the umbrella of endodontics, I would suggest you look nowhere else than Pinnacle. My dad needed some work before getting dentures. Our primary dentist sent him here. Dr. Cameron explained the whole process to him. He and his hygienists gave us both a full understanding about what was going to happen, then they followed through with care.

I cant tell you how many times Ive heard Ive rather have a root canal... That joke is no longer funny to me. Why? Because apparently root canals are really nothing to worry about! I walked in to this office in a lot of pain, just hoping someone would put me out of my misery. What I found is that after a few pinches to the gums, my pain was completely gone. Literally 20 minutes later, I was walking out the door.I had an unexpectedly pleasant experience. The staff and doctor were so kind and put me at ease. Im not very comfortable in these situations and I was quite comfortable the whole time. Seriously! The team who fixed me up were actually quite entertaining and frankly the hardest part of the experience was resisting the urge to laugh out loud while they drilled through my tooth!Highly recommended. Im SO glad my dentist sent me to see Dr. Howard!

This place is amazing!! Dr Howard and all his staff are the best! He seen my 9 year old daughter and made her feel so comfortable. I was nervous about needing a root canal, afraid it would hurt. Dr. Howard was so patient and understanding about my nerves. Even better, the procedure was simple and painless. The whole staff made the experience a great one.

This office uses anesthesia that actually works. Ive had the experience of feeling my tooth drilled, but not here. Not with Dr. Cameron. He and his hygienist were really good with the whole process and kind enough to explain it to me along the way.

Im so glad this is where I had my root canal done. Theres so much I didnt know about the process, but more so, I dont remember the actual tooth repair. They did well with the anesthesia and their kindness.

We had to narrow down the pain in my spouses mouth. Doctor after doctor kept passing off the work until we got a referral to Dr. Cameron. It was a relief to know the pain came to an end. Sleeping for everyone is much easier now.

Dr. Camba and Garrett were exceptional! I had to get a root canal and I get very anxious going to the dentist. They made me feel extremely comfortable, and told me what they were doing every step of the way. They were very personal and made me laugh a few times during the procedure which was relaxing. They even brought a little fan in the room to cool me down because I was getting warm. They would stop immediately, no questions asked if I felt anything or was uncomfortable at all. Really great experience!

Ive now seen Dr. Howard twice for two root canals...he and his staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They take the time to walk through with you each step of the process from the procedure to billing. I would HIGHLY recommend him for anyone needing a root canal!!

We found Dr. Howard a couple of years ago through a friend when I needed a second opinion. He got me in right away and correctly diagnosed the problem. This is the second time I had to have a root canal in 6 months. Dr. Howards office was exceptional during my first visit. They took steps to ease the entire process of getting a root canal. Just a week ago, I had to have a second root canal done and had difficulties scheduling due to the Covid-19 situation. They took every step and did improve the appointment to alleviate my pain. Its a practice I would definitely recommend.

Recently needed a root canal, lucky me. My dentist referred me to Dr. Howard at Pinnacle in Alpharetta. He and the whole staff were excellent. Its a very friendly and efficient organization. Dr. Howard explained everything and patiently answered all my questions. I was finished and out of the chair in 30 minutes, pain free from start to finish! I highly recommend Pinnacle and Dr. Howard.

I went to Dr Howard for the root canal treatment of my tooth, and had the best experience. Dr Howard is not only a great Endodontist but has a great chair side manner.He is detailed and fast.His staff was very courteous and helpful.I would highly recommend him, he is the best endodontist in town.

Let me preface this with, Im terrified of needles and drilling on my mouth gives me so much anxiety, I usually turn my hands purple from squeezing them so hard. I typically dread appointments like this. But Dr. Howard and Robin made my entire experience as painless as humanly possible. This was my first root canal and I was very anxious about the whole thing. The entire staff from Lisa at the front desk to Robin and Dr. Howard was incredibly friendly and made you feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. To start, I had to jump through hoops with insurance issues because I fell off of my parents insurance and was signing up for my companies plan. Therefore, I was constantly calling Pinnacle with question after question and appointment rescheduling a couple of times because of insurance and then increasing tooth pain. Everyone I encountered with Pinnacle whether it was their Crabapple location or Cumming location were so pleasant to deal with despite my constant calls and a thousand questions. When appointment day came, I was talked through the whole procedure and given a very clear understandable explanation for everything going on with my tooth, the process, and post op. I have always struggled with teeth problems and not knowing why I had certain pain and never getting very clear answers but Dr. Howard explained everything so well in a way I understood so clearly that all of the puzzle pieces/questions in my head just fell together. Everything made sense! Not to mention, the whole procedure (minus the needle for Novocain) was virtually painless! I could not be more happy about my experience at Pinnacle, I wish they were a general dentist office as well!

In finishing up with my Invisalign case I wanted to have a consult about sensitivity above my central incisors before I I received crowns or veneers. I went to Dr Cameron Howard for a consultation. Dr Howard did a 3 day X-ray and discovered that infection had eroded a hole in my bone above my front left tooth. He recommended we do a re-treatment root canal in order to remove the infection. He asked if I wanted to have it done now and I said yes. He was finished in 15 minutes or so. I was amazed at how quickly he got it done and how painless the procedure was. If it weren’t for his willingness to see me on short notice, the 3D scan clearly showing the hole in my bone and his ability to work me in for the procedure right after the consult, the consequences of not getting this resolved could have cost me multiple thousands of dollars down the road from other teeth being affected from so much bone loss. Did I mention that it was 5:00 pm when he gave me the option of getting the procedure done? Thank you Dr Howard and to your wonderful staff for offering a solution to me and resolving my issue so quickly. Awesome work!

They were able to take me right away after my regular dentist diagnosed the need for a root canal after I went to his office with a good bit of pain. Front office staff were welcoming and helpful. The procedure took about 45 minutes. This was about two weeks ago and I have had no subsequent problems. Highly recommend.

I started off with a warm reception from the clerk...I wish I remembered her name. She was young, super cute and very sweet and friendly. The office is very cold, which I hated. Beautiful ambiance though. Greg was my dental assistant and had an awesome personality. We laughed and joked so hard, but at the same time he was prepping me and we discussed my concerns and helped me understand the process should a root canal be necessary. Once Dr. Howard arrived, he was just as friendly and knowledgeable. I think they are a great practice!

I had a recently filled cavity that ended up needing root canal treatment, and my dentist referred me to Dr. Howard. Because of the complication from that filling, I was in a good amount of pain when I arrived at Pinnacle. Despite that, Dr. Howard explained the treatment well in a lighthearted but still professional manner, and he performed additional treatment steps to reduce risk of reinfection down the road, which I appreciate. Appointments were faster than typical medical or dental appointments, and the whole Pinnacle team were pleasant and made my root canal experience much better than I expected. Highly recommended (if you need a root canal)!

Dr. Howard and Sheila Jeffers were an amazing team. They are quick, efficient and GENTLE. I went for my first ever root canal and was having a lot of anxiety not knowing how it would go. They eased my mind and waited with me to ensure I was ready before starting. They both talked to me during the procedure to help me not panic. Dr. Howard damaged the nerve in the tooth next to the tooth he performed the root canal on. Now I need a root canal on a tooth that was PERFECT! Stay far away from Pinacle Endodontics and Dr. Howard!

I had a hard time believing all of these 5-star reviews until I had my own experience today. It’s all true! Everyone is wonderful, and the office is beautiful. My root canal procedure took about 20 minutes yet it didn’t feel rushed. They took great care of me and it’s clear that Dr. Howard and his staff did everything they could to ensure that I felt as comfortable as possible. They listened to everything I said, patiently answered my questions, and were funny and lighthearted in a way that took my mind off the procedure. Normally, I’m not relaxed without nitrous oxide and even then have to remind myself to release the tension I always feel. It was the complete opposite with Dr. Howard and his assistant!If you have the option of choosing your Endodontist, I highly recommend Pinnacle!

Fantastic experience! I, like many others, heard that root canals are horror stories - so needless to say I went to my appointment with a healthy dose of fear and anxiety. The super friendly staff and beautiful office quickly started to ease some of my apprehension and when I started talking with Dr. Howard and Robin, the lead dental assistant, I knew I had nothing to worry about. I let Dr. Howard and Robin know that, despite being a shade under 6 feet tall and 250lbs, I am a giant baby. Robin actually held my hand as I got the first two numbing shots (I didnt feel either of these shots). 20 minutes and three 80s songs later, I was out the of the door with a big smile on my face. I didnt feel a single thing! Seriously, this was easier than any filling Ive ever gotten and easier than a few basic cleanings!Dr. Howard is a pros pro. Super friendly and knowledgeable. I cannot recommend him enough! If you ever find yourself in a situation where you need a root canal, do yourself a favor and go see Dr. Howard and his great team!
