This place is top notch as it relates to customer service, being knowledgeable, and quality of work. My 11 year old had trauma to a tooth several years ago. He had to have a root canal on his front perm tooth. Dr. Parente was exceptional in terms of patience, explaining the process, etc. We were lucky to meet Elliot (his super friendly, adorable dog) highly recommended!! 👍🏾❤️

Best Root Canal Ever!! Let’s be honest, no one wants one of these, but sometimes they are necessary. Dr. Parente is extremely knowledgeable and will gladly answer any of your questions so that you understand the situation and the process by which he will correct it completely. He is extremely gentle and takes his time to make sure you are always comfortable and not stressed. He has great bedside manner and a chill song playlist. It’s the day after and I’m in no pain. :) His staff is professional and so incredibly friendly! Ebony was a perfect assistant and made me feel comfortable before the procedure. I would give them more stars if I could!

The need for root canal therapy was something I did NOT want to face, but I am beyond grateful that I was referred to Dr. J Parente and his staff. The kindness and comfort they extended, from the front desk all the way through the end of the procedure with Dr. Parente, was just amazing. I went there in so much pain and with so much fear. Dr. Parente explained everything to me. He made sure I was out of pain. He let me know something that we don’t hear enough of in this world – “You’re going to be OK”. He and his staff are kind, they are fun, we listened to fun music and he even sang at times. I didn’t feel a thing and my recovery and follow up visit were just as good as the initial one! This is one of the best medical experiences I have ever had in my life. I’ve always heard horror stories about root canals, but I literally laughed during mine. My only wish is that Dr. Parente was a general practitioner for all things medical. He would have people lined up around the building!

This was my first root canal procedure and I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive, picturing massive pain and blood! Exactly the opposite Justin was fantastic. He explained every step and the whole process was totally painless. He took the time to talk to me and make me feel comfortable. Such a refreshing approach when so many Dental and Medical professionals have lost the ability to communicate with their patients. I was hoping he also did General Dentistry but unfortunately not! I was refered to Alpharetta Endodontics by my regular dentist to see if they could save one of my teeth that had a cavity deep into the root. Dr Justin Parentswas the Dentist that saw me, he explained what was going on with my tooth and what he was going to do for it. I learned a few things I did not know about teeth from his explanation and I been around a while. I was sitting in the chair with all of the old horror stories about root canals running thru my head. They were all false, Doc Justin performed the first part of the root canal and I had no pain, discomfort or stress. Yes there was the usual drill noise which helped keep me from falling a sleep because he placed a device to hold my mouth in place which relieved my muscles from holding my mouth open and I was relaxed. If you need this work, go see this guy and you will have an enjoyable experience.

Dr. Parente and the entire Alpharetta Endodontics staff were extremely, kind, caring, and efficient. I was in and out in under 90 minutes (consultation & root canal). The office was comfortable. And honestly, didnt feel a thing which never happens with me. He even used this cool mouth protector thing so nothing got into my mouth and my gag refluxes didnt kick in like they normally do. Although Im hoping to never have to see an endodontist again, I will definitely go back here if I need to.

I am not sure where to start, except to say that if you need a root canal this is the place to go. A lot of people do not like going to the dentist and even fewer like getting a root canal, including me, but I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. I found the office to be incredibly clean, comfortable and relaxing. His front office staff was welcoming and professional. Dr. Justin Parente is soft spoken and calming, yet very confident and self assured in what he is telling you. He walks you through the process (if that is what you want) and helps you to relax. Believe it or not I found myself snoozing in the chair. His equipment is the newest and state of the art which means a lot to me since things are changing so quickly in the dental field. I cannot say enough about this office or the staff...they went above and beyond.

Numbing my mouth so that I do not experience pain from drilling has always been a challenge. Dr. Parente assured me as a first-time patient that he had resources dentists do not have. He was telling the truth because he used them on me, and the result was a pain-free root canal. The office was setup thoughtfully to make me physically comfortable and I felt like I was in competent and kind hands throughout my procedure. The experience boosted my faith in humanity.

I can’t thank Dr. Parente and his staff enough. I’m one who struggles with anxiety when having dental work completed. During my initial call to make my appointment and I asked a lot of questions, and I felt supported and comforted to make appointment. For both of my appointments, everyone was welcoming, friendly and supportive knowing I struggled with being there. Dr. Parente was amazing as he explained everything up front and throughout each part of the procedures so I knew what to expect. My root canal treatment started with a smile and warm greeting from a very pleasant front office staff. Communications about scheduling and my in home preparation prior to this visit was excellent. Before beginning treatment, the doctor patiently chatted informally with me, explaining in detail everything I would be encountering. This was followed by do you still have any questions. Only when we were both satisfied did his staff put on my bib and begin the procedure. The equipment used looked space age modern and Dr Parente was fast and efficient. There were no surprises and everything went exactly as he had indicated it would. His words and gentle approach throughout gave me confidence in both my my initial choice of physician and the treatment that was rendered.The best part of the experience was the outcome. It is unbelievably comforting to walk in with root canal pain and leave symptom free an hour later. This was my first experience with this office but I can wholeheartedly complement every aspect of my visit and would have no hesitation in recommending this doctor..

Dr. Justin Parente was great. I had never had a root canal before. He was very patient and explained the procedure to me. He has a very calming demeanor. He kept me updated throughout the procedure. Afterwards, things were just as he described, a little sore, but no longer throbbing pain. He even called me the next day to make sure everything was going well. I dont want to have to visit him again, but if I need to, he is who I will see.

Dr. Justin Parente did a root canal for me recently. Now, this is NOT my most favorite pastime , but let me say that Dr. Parente did a FANTASTIC job -- so much so that I really felt it was necessary to take time to write a review. The best part was there was no pain involved. The next best part was the discomfort experience - either during or after the procedure was extraordinarily minimal. When I compare it to the other root canal I had years ago, this was head and shoulders preferable. He was so skillful and let me know exactly what he was doing at all times. His staff was also FANTASTIC. I literally could not have hoped for a better experience with a root canal! (Although it is my fervent wish to never have another!). 10/10

I am so impressed with Dr. Stephen Parente that I recommend my all known persons to get treated by him. Few years back I had to go through root canal procedure with him. He has such an exert hand, there was no swelling, no extra painkillers and I felt absolutely normal after few hours.His skill is terrific and his honesty is adorable and beyond question. Me and my husband have been under his treatment on several occasions and he is the first dentist I have discovered who won’t let you involve in dental procedure unless it is essentially required. My doctor referred him for root canal and he treated and did whatever is necessary and send me back for crowning. Even today’s follow up and check up visit is not charged. Who would do that?He always thinks of his patients which is very rare in this time. I really respect him for his skill and ethics. God bless him and his great soul.

I went to see Dr. Parente today for a root canal and I definitely had some apprehension leading up to the appointment. I dont mind the sounds, smells, or the pain but I do get anxiety about the numbness from the Novocaine and also have some lingering fear from a prior root canal (NOT done by Dr. Parente) that had some complications. Dr. Parente took his time answering all of my questions and giving me options to consider to help ease my anxiety. I felt that I was in control of what was going to happen and also that he understood my own personal situation and was not at all judgmental. I went ahead and had the procedure done and it was one of the best dental experiences I have had in a long time. None of my anxiety triggers happened and I felt *almost*relaxed during the procedure. Dr. Parente and his hygienist had wonderful a wonderful bedside manner and I would highly recommend him/them to others. No one really enjoys having dental work done but I would definitely go back to this office for any (hopefully few) future endodontist related procedures.

Excellent experience (for a root canal) with Dr. Justin Parente. I didn’t have any discomfort when he administered the amnesia shot, which can sometimes be mildly painful. It was a surprisingly gentle procedure compared to previous experience with other endodontist. I would highly recommend!

Dr. McGee/Hall referred me for a root canal, and unfortunately, I have been through the root canal process before, and I was not looking forward to it. I called to make an appointment after avoiding the process for a week, and since I live out-of-town with a busy schedule, the office worked with me to schedule the appointment with Dr. Justin Parente. On the day of the appointment, Dr. Parente explained the full process, did the root canal, provided me details on the next steps, and personally followed up with me the next day; honestly, he was probably the best dentist next to Dr. McGee. It is worth flying back and forth for the fantastic service.

After having some shoddy work done at Polish Dental in Lilburn back in 2017 while I was pregnant with my youngest , all of the “ work “ that was done is falling apart . I have leaky fillings and some that have broken away . One of my fillings actually developed a cavity underneath which resulted in me needing a root canal . After hearing about Alpharetta Endodontics from my fiancé I decided to give them a try . I’ve never had or needed a root canal so I was pretty apprehensive. As soon as I got to Alpharetta Endodontics I quickly calmed down . The staff as well as Dr. Parente are absolutely wonderful and kind .I was sure that I would be pretty miserable during and after my root canal but it was the exact opposite ( to my pleasant surprise) . I hardly felt any of the injections and the procedure was quick and painless. I also had no issues after my procedure which was also a nice surprise. State of the Art Dental facility with attentive staff and an exceptional dentist in Dr. Parente. Hes experienced, knowledgeable, and calm under pressure. I experienced a difficulty with my tooth in the middle of a procedure that would have caused panic, but Dr. Parente and his assistant adjusted to the situation with professionalism and performed restorative dental treatment to placed me in the best dental care possible. At times ones talent shows more in times of duress and Dr. Parente is a very talented doctor.

Dr. Justin Parente and his staff are just wonderful. I had a very traumatic experience with a root canal years ago and when my dentist told me I needed one now I almost just wanted to pull the tooth and be done. I couldnt face that again, but my dentist convinced me that Dr. Parente and his staff were great, there were new microscopic procedures and this should be much easier. I reluctantly went ahead and decided to try and all I can say is they were go great that my fear was cured in just the first visit. They are very caring, reassuring, will stop if you need to and it was just an overall great experience. I didnt even need someone to go with me on the second visit. Since they can only do insurance estimates, it ended up I overpaid and at my second visit, I didnt even have to mention it, they were already on top of it and immediately asked for the credit card to give me the credit. That too is something as you usually have to argue with other offices and wait forever to get a check. I would give 10 stars if I could!!!

I have to say this is the best practice Ive neen in for a root canal. Everyone is very kind and they understand life happens and dont pressure you with money. Dr. Perente is of a different pedigree. After he did the work I honestly feel like my tooth never needed it. I didnt feel any pain the day after the procedure. You need any work done, go to them. Theyll treat you right!

I’ve been to this practice a few times now and even though the circumstances are less than ideal, it’s always been a positive experience. The staff is friendly and the doctor is so calm, knowledgeable, and kind. He explains what he’s doing, asks helpful questions, and seems to truly care about his patients. He walks you through procedures and situations by clearly explaining the steps he will take and is very careful to make sure the patient is comfortable. I frankly did not experience any pain during my procedure. I just returned from a follow-up visit and, once again, appreciated Parente’s clear and understandable explanations. Not going to lie, my typical dental procedures involve a lot of pain and regrets that I didnt take better care of myself. However, Dr. Megan really showed that thats not how these kind of visits should be. Shes very professional and caring and when it comes to this kind of work, I think both are required and should go hand in hand.Im also a fan the staff there. Very polite, nice and welcoming. I went out of my insurance network to come here and dont regret it at all.

Dr Parente is the most patient doc I have been around. He takes as much time as needed to be sure the patient is 100% informed with whatever is being addressed. He is also not fast to do a procedure just for the sake of doing one. He is meticulous at being sure the right tooth is identified so the problem is taken care of. Best Endodontist I have ever seen. Ive never looked forward to dental treatments before, but knowing I was in their careful hands and would be welcomed with their kind spirits, I looked forward to my appointments there. I am deathly afraid of having any dental work done, but needed a root canal. My dentist referred me to Dr. Parente. My experience with Dr. Parente could not have been better. He took time to explain exactly why the procedure was necessary,what it would entail, what they were going to do to minimize any discomfort and any necessary follow up. He was incredibly patient and caring. My procedure was about six weeks ago and I have had no problems since. If only all dental professionals were of this caliber!

About 8 years ago my regular dentist referred me to Dr. Justin to have a root canal done that in her words she would never in a million years attempt. I am blessed with some very long very curvy roots.I am a complete whip when it comes to tooth pain so I was very nervous. This procedure went super smooth. It was very complicated so Dr. Justin broke it up into two appointments so my jaw wasnt killing me. At no time did I feel any pain other than that little pinch on the first injection. SO many people have told me horror stories about root canals but based on this experience I think my normal cleaning is more painful. It is 8 years later and that tooth is fine.Fast forward to this year and I was having pain in the same region so my dentist checked me out and said everything looked good but wanted me to go back and see Dr. Justin.It was super easy to get an appointment and he was very thorough in looking at what could be the cause of the pain. At no time did discount my thought process that it could be the tooth he worked on years ago. What he did do was go though a very exhaustive set of tests to narrow down where the discomfort was coming from. He was pretty darn sure it was the tooth directly below the one he did a root canal on 8 years ago but to tell you the truth I was not so sure. He discussed a bunch of options with me but suggested we go two weeks with a conservative plan of anti inflammatories, antibiotics and decongestant to rule everything else out before going in for another root canal.One week into that treatment plan I realized he was 100% right that it was the tooth below the original one he did before. I called the office staff and they got me an appointment right away. Dr. Justin went through another series of diagnosis just to be 100% sure we were right before we went for the serious procedure. When we were 100% it was time to get down to work.Same as last time around. He was very concerned that I was comfortable and that I felt no pain. This one being a bottom molar they are notorious for not wanting to numb up completely. He explained in advance that we may have to do more than the initial battery of pain injections so IF we got to that point it was no surprise. When we started he went very slowly and adjusted the pain blocking when I told him umm I think I may still be feeling something Not even a real ouch.Procedure was super smooth. No issues.Dr Justin personally called me the following day to ask me how I was and make sure I didnt need anything.I would not hesitate to recommend him!

She took the time to explain my options and provided great advice as to which approach I should go with. Hands down one of the BEST, most professional and personable doctors Ive ever seen - and the staff adds the icing on the cake! Ask for Megan when going here!!!

I was referred by my primary dentist to Dr. Green for a problem with a crown. Dr. Green was wonderful in explaining my treatment plan and making sure I understood how we were going to proceed. Thru out the treatment,her number one concern was am I having any pain. Her work was excellent and thanks to her, I am all set. I will return as needed and would highly recommend her to everyone.

I love Dr. Justin Parente. I have had root canals before and have had complications. From the time I sat in the chair, I was treated like family. Both he and his staff were extremely helpful and calming. Dr explained everything from start to finish. I had several different issues and he tackled each one separately, explaining in detail what I needed to do. I have a great dentist but having a specialist with this kind of knowledge and experience is worth every penny! I am very pleased.

I saw Dr Justin Parente for a root canal yesterday. He and his staff were AMAZING and I highly recommend them. I walked in scared of the painful procedure and feeling they would underplay my extreme sensitivity. But I was completely wrong.First, Dr Parente not only spent time going over all the details and making me feel comfortable, I felt absolutely no pain before or after the procedure (it’s over 24 hours later and I’ve taken Tylenol but not a single ache yet). Even the numbing shots were about 150% less painful than those I received the day before at the dentist. In fact, I felt less pain than getting my filling filled the previous day.Not only did they listen to and address my concern of pain management, Dr. Parente talked to me as though I was an equal (something that is increasingly rare to find with doctors), took the time to explain every step of the procedure and answer all my questions, but kept me updated at every step, making me feel completely involved, aware and comfortable. He also gave me his full attention during my visit (ie he didn’t disappear for 20 +minutes).You would be crazy to go anywhere else for a root canal, and while I hope to not have to have another, I would never consider anyone else doing this procedure. From the moment I left the office until I left, I felt comfortable, heard and happy.He and his staff are beyond incredible.

I have been a patient of Dr. Stephen Parente for several years; he performed several root canal procedures for me. I recently experienced strong pain in one of my back teeth and had to seek treatment. This time I worked with Dr. Justin Parente.Dr. Justin Parente was very professional and efficient. I was impressed how he listened carefully to the history of my experience with the tooth and my symptoms of chronic pain for two weeks. He recommended performing a root canal treatment which he proceeded to do immediately.The procedure was performed in one sitting with no pain at all. I listened to my favorite music on headphones to pass the time. After the procedure he informed me about the condition of the tooth (it should be good for a long time). He also called me a day later to check on my status, a nice personal touch.Getting a root canal sounds grim, but I did not experience any pain during the procedure. It was actually more gentle than some other types of dental work I experienced. Most importantly, the chronic pain I was experiencing disappeared. I am grateful to Dr. Parente and his staff for their knowledge, skill and friendly manner in providing this service. Like most people, the thought of getting a root canal was terrifying. I walked into this office full of anxiety and was immediately put at ease by the staff. Dr. Green was extraordinarily patient and comforting. She explained the procedure in detail and answered any questions I had every step of the way. My neck pillow and headphones blasting country music made me so relaxed. It was as if I forgot I was even having a procedure done. It was completely painless! Dr. Green even called to check in on me the next day. I highly recommend this office to anyone, especially those who feel anxious about dental work.

Dr. Parente was very thorough in explaining what was going on with my tooth and what he was going to do to repair it. The outcome was great. Dr. Justin Parente has done two root canals for me. Originally, I had so much anxiety because I had never had one before. He and his team were so amazing, knowledgeable, and comforting. Dr. Parente took the time to really explain everything so that I understood why this treatment was the best option and how it would help me. I felt very taken care of and confident in their skills. When I had to get another one I came in with no anxiety because of how great they were the first time around. Aside from doing a great job on your teeth, the whole staff is incredibly nice and friendly too. If you ever have to have any work done that requires an endodentist, I recommend them whole heartedly.

Dr. Justin Parente and his staff were gentle and caring with my 12 year old son. He needed a root canal due to trauma and was very afraid. Dr. Parente stopped frequently to check on him and to reassure him he was doing a good job. It was painless and quick. While I’m not planning another endodontic treatment, if our family needs one, we will ask for Dr. Parente!!
