I just thought of writing this review for Dr. Patel because had I we with his advice around 12 years ago, I dont think I would have left with any teeth at all by now.I had visited Smiles on Main clinic back in 2008 (age 26) for a regular dental cleanup, that should have cost me a co-pay of just $20. However, they look at how good your coverage is and try to churn out as much money as possible from you and your insurance.They charged me for an advance cleanup (even though what they did was basic) and charged in an extra $60 out of pocket.It doesnt stop there. Even though I went in just for a cleanup, they did an x-ray of all my teeth saying its a routine procedure. Then Dr. Patel said I have cavity in more around 6 teeth that need to be filled as soon as possible. I left the clinic saying I would get that done in another visit just to make an excuse.I have visited 4 different dentist since then, and all have said you have really great teeth for your age with no cavities at all.The only reason for me to write this review is to make people aware about the other side of their business. And if you are below 30 of age and if you are suggested to have cavities filled when you dont feel a thing, run away and give it a second thought.Giving 1 start just because Google reviews do not allow 0 stars.

I am terrified of having anything done at the dentist! Dr. Patel has a wonderful bed side manner and is careful to make you comfortable during any procedure! He IS my new dentist!!
