My first visit, staff was friendly and my cleaning was very good. Took lots of time with me and made sure they had everything they needed to give me a detailed status of my dental care. Very impressed, dentist pointed out a flaw in two of my crowns that had open margins. I already knew about them but the fact she pointed them out on the first visit was impressive.

I had a terrific visit with Dr. Jenna Jarvis. She is informed, well educated and an extremely good communicator. She found my issue, gave me recommendations, and solved my dental problem.

Absolutely amazing staff. We saw two techs in the elevator walking up to the office, and even from that moment, to check-in, and all the way to check out -- every single person was so kind to us. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of the Hygienist who cleaned my teeth, but she was probably the kindest person there. Extremely nice and knowledgeable.Great place. Great people. I was always petrified of going to the dentist knowing i needed some major work done. I went to a few other places that were either totally insensitive or just disconnected. Dr. Reid is AWESOME and guys Im not just saying this to say it, she is literally AWESOME! She genuinely cares, talks to you about your treatment plan in details and makes sure you are OK. Beware. To start I rarely write reviewsI went to Old Milton twice. Paid cash my first visit. (Over 1000.00). I wanted to return so I picked up dental insurance. Before I chose my insurance I checked with staff to make sure I was covered. They said that was and there would be no problem with this insurance for dental work in the future. I waited six months for to return for more work. I arrived and that morning to ask the cost. They told me not to worry about it they will bill me. I told them i had insurance and i wanted to know a price before I got started, I came back a few hours later they told me 800 for the work with insurance! I told them no thanks. How much for a cleaning? They would not say. I insisted and they finally said $20 copay. I told them I would not pay more then the 20 if its more than that will go somewhere else , They assured me that the whatever the insurance paid after that would be fine. Well insurance paid about 80. I paid $20 (which they did not give me credit for!)then I get a bill for 115.00 Two calls to the office to fix the issue and I was told there is noting they can do, Beware do not pay cash and know that they will not honor their word at Old Milton Dental. Very deceptive.Oh and the next dentist told me I did not need any work done.UpdateAfter I posted the review I received a phone call. I received an apology and my account was changed to a zero balance.

I unfortunately had a crown come loose.I called the last dentist I had seen in the Johns Creek area to see if they could fix it before the weekend. I was told that there was no way to have it fixed until Monday. I begged and pleaded with them to try to squeeze me in and I was told there was no way.I then called my old dentist Dr. Mazar. Their office was very understanding of the importance of having it fixed. They told me to co me in right away and they would fix it . I could not ask for a better Dental office. Had a great dental check up at Old Milton Dental. Darlene was very professional and make me feel comfortable. I would recommend this dental office. Dr Jarvis explained what needed to be done.

I tried to get an estimate for a specific procedure and they required a consult first, which can include an x-ray for $150. I told them I would like to do a consult without the x-ray and we scheduled the free consult. When I went to the office for my consult, the woman at the front desk said they wouldnt even look in my mouth without paying a $150 exam fee. This is not the information I received when I first made the appointment and was a very uncomfortable and embarrassing experience for me. I left the office at that point. I called them back once I got home to figure out why I was rejected from a free consultation and they held firm that for a doctor to look into my mouth would be a $150 exam fee. The final response I got was I apologize that you misunderstood us. I have gone to other dentists before this and they were all very accommodating and helpful - one even giving me free x-rays. Do your research and find a better place to go.

We took advantage of a US Mail flyer for a Old Milton Dental New Patient visit that included a comprehensive visit - included x-rays, cleaning, as well as a doctor consult, and I could not be more impressed. Very clean, practicing amazing COVID19 best practices, and my kids were NOT afraid at all. Matter of fact, my son is so proud of his VERY clean teeth that we have overcome the FEAR OF THE DENTIST. We are so grateful also for the camaraderie of the entire practice. I included two photos of my kids that were taken just to send their Dad (we are weird like that), but I thought I would provide because it shows the high standards of safety they are practicing on my children. I thought they should get an amazing review for this on top of the excellent dental work on my children. From the Reception to the Hygienist, and then to the Dentist herself, we left very pleased and well cared for dentally. I can not recommend this dental practice enough.

Professional, clean, thorough and attentive. With covid-19, it was clear upon entering the office that the patients safety was a priority. This put me at ease - then the care - really made me feel as if I was getting the best possible care possible. Everyone was very kind, giving me a feeling of Family! Very deceptive and unethical. OVER PRICED....$3500 a crown. Misdiagnosed me twice to a point where I had to go see another specialist a periodontist to diagnose the problem. When I told Dr. Mazer about it he literally dismissed me from the practice after me being a patient there for over 5 years, I was also still going through multiple implant procedures with him at the time of him dismissing me. Complete abandonment of care! He misdiagnosed me in hopes I would buy more $3500 crowns from him when in reality I needed NOT ANOTHER crown but a gum graft from a periodontist that he assured me I DID NOT need to see, and only blamed the previous dentist for the design of his crown.His office manager Kylie is completely incompetent how Dr. Mazer even allows her to run the place simply baffles me. She can barely take and extend proper notes from the conversations she has with the patients. They do not file your insurance and THEY DO NOT HONOR INSURANCE MARKET PRICES. So even if you have insurance they will charge you what they want , you will pay double for all procedures!4 out of 6 crowns chipped, broke, or slipped off not even after 5 years of placement. I have to go through more restorations with implants now that are costing me a fortune. MY ADVICE DO NOT LET THEM DECEIVE YOU! You will be over paying for service and product that is the same and less expensive else where. BUYER BEWARE!Dr. Mazer is not a good dentists. He can not diagnose a true dental issue. He’s simply a cosmetic dentist that only glues and screws in crowns. Absolutely do not trust or overpay this guy! Should of never been deceived by his ruthless incompetent money hungry staff!

Excellent service in a clean facility

They got me in last minute (which was nice). When I got there I realized I had locked my daughter out (she was on her way from college). Since I hadnt been to a dentist in a while, they needed to take x-rays and it could take 2 hours for exam and teeth cleaning. I asked my tech (Hanna) if she could do anything to help. She was so thoughtful, and got her co-workers to help. They really worked as a team! That was impressive, but she also did a great job cleaning my teeth. I had no discomfort; she was knowledgeable and friendly. She took several x-rays and did a very thorough exam. Also, the Dentist was very nice as well. Its so refreshing when everything goes well and people care. I had a very positive experience, and my teeth feel great! So happy...

My husband went first with my sons for their checkups and came home raving about how impressed he was with this office. He is not easily impressed! I just went today and I must say I was also very impressed! Everything is electronic. You fill it all out online. Michelle was amazing. So sweet! I have never had someone explain to me what I’m looking at at xrays, step by step. She was phenomenal. She was gentle, didn’t hurt any of my sensitive areas. They were great with my 3 year old who had her first check up today. Overall, I’m so glad we read to the reviews And tried this office out! This is our new dental office! Excellent Service, True Professionalism, and Real Compassion. I phoned in today with severe tooth/jaw pain, but my regular doctor Katie Reid (who is also awesome) was out. The staff was able to fit me in as an emergency appointment with Dr. Cory Mazer. Dr Mazer and his staff quickly found the issue and had me all fixed up and on my way. I am VERY thankful for the consistent excellence of the staff at this office. I have spent many years searching for a dental office that was thorough and gentle (I had some previously painful experiences). I had found a place that I loved in West Cobb, but my search started again when I moved recently. I found Old Milton Dental through an extensive Google search. I am so glad that I came to Old Milton Dental. Everyone was very nice and professional, from the front office to Dr. Reid. I have to specifically mention Rena, my hygienist. She spent a lot of time with me to make sure I was comfortable, and explained every step she was taking. I felt she did a very thorough cleaning, and it was PAIN FREE!

Everyone was great - it was my first time there. There were running 15 minutes late, but insisted it wasnt the norm and then had another person help with everything so we made up the time. I would highly recommend this place. Very thorough cleaning by Hannah (Im pretty sure that was her name), not judgy or lecturing at all - there are TVs to watch during your cleaning which made the whole thing better. Excellent for service and value.

I was very nervous to have crowns replaced as I had a bad experience years ago. Kerri my wonderful hygienist gave me the confidence to go ahead and do it!She was right, Dr Mazer is a great cosmetic dentist. He does beautiful work. The whole process was timely, painless and I am so happy with the results!

Old Milton Dental is the best dental practice I have encountered!Dr. Powell and the staff are extremely caring, thoughtful, understanding, and receptive. The team always makes sure to do their very best to accommodate patient needs - they are super clutch in emergency situations.The technology is fantastic and the team puts forth immense effort to not only treat you; but, also to explain why you are having issues and what your solutions are. Dr. Powell and team do not over-treat and do not try in anyway to sell you on seeking treatment within their referral network. Its a truly rare experience these days and, for as long as I live in Atlanta, I will not go to any dentistry outside of Old Milton! They are absolutely awesome!

Ridiculously high prices! Great service and very knowledgeable, friendly staff but the highest prices for dental services Ive ever encountered. A Resin Composite-3s Posterior filling was $437 (do research as this is well over double what the procedure traditionally cost). The practice also does not have in-network insurance companies, so be prepared to pay. Once again, great service and experience, but other dentists with great reviews offering similar services for a fraction of the cost.

Old Milton Dental goes above and beyond every time I am there. They have an amazing staff, with hygienists who are personable and very nice. The receptionists are polite, and make scheduling the next appointment a breeze. The dentists are amazing and never ask the typical dentist questions like what sport are you playing etc... they always have real and genuine questions for you and strive to please and fulfill all your dental needs. First time in my life getting a cavity filled in that was LITERALLY painless! They use some kind of new technology to numb you instead of the old school needle. It’s some kind of pressure sensing needle with a brain! I didn’t even feel the pinch you normally feel. Best staff I’ve ever dealt with. Everyone is so nice from the second you walk in to the second you leave.

No one likes going to the dentist.. as a matter of fact, I’ve had some of the worst experiences at the dentist office. I had one “professional” tell me I had 8 cavities so I wanted another opinion. I went to Old Milton, recommended by my father, almost 7 years ago. Since then- I’ve ONLY been to Old Milton. The staff is clean, friendly, welcoming and understanding. They explain to you in great detail what is going on and they show you photo evidence of why you’re experiencing these symptoms. You are comfortable and at-ease when handled at Old Milton. I lived in Athens for 5 years and still commuted to Old Milton because no other office handles my teeth better than here. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone, young or old. The staff is also very good looking and Dr. Mazer ain’t to shabby on the eyes either! In all seriousness, I’m no longer afraid to go to the dentist. My appointment today was simply relaxing. Go here!

Highly recommend this practice. I’ve been a patient for almost 10 years (started in college when still living in Roswell but now live in midtown but still trek up there twice a year for cleanings!) Dr Mazer is very knowledgeable and makes an effort to explain what the procedure is or why they are doing something. I also got quoted for a treatment on the spot with an estimate to consider for next time which was helpful. The whole staff is also great.

Ive been a patient for many years now and continue to be happy with the staff and service. A few years ago, we moved an hour away, and I still drive to Old Milton Dental. The office staff is positive, helpful, and efficient. I love my hygienist and my dentist. I never dread my dental appointments.
