I have been going to Dr. Stalling for 9 years now and she is very thorough, takes time with me to make sure I understand testing, procedures and diagnosis. I would not hesitate to high recommend her to my family and friends.

I wanted to post a review after visiting BCS for the first time after seeing so many negative reviews here. I had a really nice experience and was really happy with the service and care. The mammogram was quick and the technician was efficient and kind. Ultrasound was similar and both ladies answered all my questions very patiently. I saw Elizabeth and Dr. Stallings who both took a great deal of time to answer all my questions and did not seem rushed. They were very thorough and I plan to return here for care in the future. I am thankful for this team and glad to have such a great resource here in Alpharetta.

I’ve been a patient for 13 years. Have never had a negative experience. The staff is always compassionate and professional, and the doctors are thorough and excellent. I’ve had surgeries with Dr Simpson and biopsies with Dr Amerson. Yes, the appointment takes a while because they do mammogram, ultrasound and dr exam. The radiologist reviews your films while you wait so if they need to do more imaging, they can do that while you wait. And biopsies are done in the office. When I was diagnosed with TNBC last fall, Dr Simpson and her staff made it so much less stressful. I can’t imagine going through cancer treatment with any other team.

I feel compelled to write a review after reading the others and totally psyching myself out before my appointment. My experience was nothing like the 1-star reviews. I arrived at 9:45 a.m. for a 10 a.m. mammogram screening, filled out paperwork, was taken back at 10 a.m. and was finished and walking out the door at 10:15 a.m. Pleasant and helpful staff. No one else in the waiting room. Masks required, sanitized pens, clothing went in a disposable plastic bag as communal hooks were not being used - all felt very COVID safe. Overall a VERY EASY and VERY QUICK experience.

Have gone to Breast Care Specialist for many years. I have nothing but high praise for doctors, all medical team and staff. Yes, sometimes you have to wait but if I were the patient with major problems and took up more time than anticipated I would want and appreciate the extra time. Would highly recommend this group.

If you do not have to go here for imaging, don’t go.From the long and exhausting process of getting an appointment, the over-abundance of paperwork, and the overall rudeness of the staff, this place was abysmal. The worst parts...-Scheduljng an appointment was an over 30 minute process...the majority of that time being spent on hold.-The new patient packet is 11 pages long and contains typos.-There was conflicting information from different members of the staff on several subjects.-The staff expects you to supply all of your previous mammogram films. I have never been to a place that made their patients bring their films with them.-The technician that took my images was incredibly insensitive, talking to me like I was a child the entire visit and at one point implying that I was stupid for asking a question. The only good thing that I can report is that the woman working the reception area was very nice and made me feel better once it was all over.DO NOT GO HERE!!!

If I could leave 0 stars I would.* Scheduling: in order to schedule an appointment, I had to leave a message with their answering service. It was 2 weeks before they returned my call. Then, the person scheduling must have scheduled me at the wrong office. I live in and requested an Alpharetta appointment.* Was told to allow 4 HOURS for an annual mammogram. I had been to this office once before for an ultrasound so I knew they weren’t kidding. The ultrasound had taken 3 hours...15 minutes with an actual technician and the rest waiting in the waiting room.* Arrived 10 minutes early to my appointment only to find out they had scheduled me in the Sandy Springs office. I asked them to call the office and let them know I would be a few minutes late. Was informed I would have to reschedule “because you can’t show up late for an appointment.” SO...I need to allow half my day for your 10 minute test but I can’t be shown grace for being 15 minutes late because if YOUR scheduling error. Completely unacceptable. They asked me to reschedule and I walked out. There has to be a better, more considerate provider of breast care in Atlanta. It is UNACCEPTABLE for medical professionals to assume their time is more valuable than the rest of us. Being asked to wait in the waiting room for hours is not okay. The attitude of all the people working there is abysmal. Run from this place. Find somewhere else for breast care.

Poor job social distancing. They literally use blankets to separate people in the certain waiting area. Very specific mask requirements. Usual long wait. Love the doctors and nurse practitioners but not the other personnel who are often rude. They need to up their game in this current situation. Lack of measures to protect patients in the current situation with virus made me feel feel uncomfortable.

Everything from the moment I made the appointment till I walk out was an awful experience. Nobody talks to you like a human, for them you are a number and money. To make the appointment I waited on the line for over 30 min and then they tell me they will call bacj within 24-48 hrs with an appointment. I couldnt choose what would work better for me. It was what they gave me. The waiting time is ridiculous, the technicians barely said my name, never introduced themself or explain the procedure. The doctor walk in and started talking non stop. She didnt introduced herself or make sure I was the right patient. They never check my vital signs or medical history. She gave me the results and disappeared, I did not had a chance to ask questions. I got a letter with vague description of my results. The place is very poorly run, not appealing. I didnt see anyone cleanning anything in between patients. It was just awful. Definitely wouldnt recommend to anyone.

I am surprised to see all the negative reviews. I have been going here for years and the only thing I can complain about is the wait time and it has been greatly reduced. It took 4 hours my first few visits, but was only about 90 minutes on my last visit. Ive never had a complaint about the any staff member. They are thorough and professional.

It is too bad that the lady or ladies that are at the reception have such bad manners and poor customer service because the doctors are quite good. I never thought I would write a bad review but I just got off the phone with them again to simply confirm an appointment and they were so rude. If you are coming here just be prepared to smile and roll your tongue ten times.

Awful. The two receptions in the front never smile, and are exceptionally rude if you dare ask any questions. An hour after waiting in the front they took me to the back, where they said to take off my clothes and the curtains were broken and do not provide any sort of adequate privacy. Not patient centered care at all. They then informed me after waiting over an hour that this appointment could take three hours. Never was I told this prior to my visit. When I let them know I was pregnant and may need water or a snack since I wasn’t aware of the time frames I was told by the people in front “you can leave if you have a problem with the wait”.They claimed that the three hours was to do testing however, the first 1.5 hrs was just waiting in a gown to be seen at all. The lack of professionalism, time consideration and frankly, rude disposition when a Woman is here possibly looking into cancer issues, is beyond me. I’ll never return nor would I recommend this place to anyone.

I took my mom for a mammogram appointment which was scheduled at 1:00PM. We arrived 15 minutes prior to fill out any necessary paper. Rachel a very sweet and gentle lady did my moms mammogram. Iris also very nice did her ultrasound. I was very pleased with their care. Then we waited and waited for Dr. Steinhaus. We saw patients that came in after us come and go. We were the last ones to leave the office at 4:00PM. My mom suffers from back pain and all those hours of trying not to loose my patience was a challenge. Im just glad we dont have to go back.

I have been going to this group for 17 years and I give up. I sat last year fro 2 hours waiting on the PA to show up. This year I waiting from 7:30 until 8:32 for the PA to show up. I was the 3rd person there so you cant tell me that after 1:20 minutes of waiting that the radiologist had not read my mammogram. I suspect the radiologists as well as the PA was not there. This Alpharetta office is run very poorly and the doctors do show the same level of care as the Atlanta Office. Stay away from this office. Go to the Atlanta office and see Dr. Amerson. She is awesome. I am so sorry that I allowed them to switch me to the PA and Alpharetta office.

Was in due to a painful lump and the woman who did my mammogram was a bit rude and lacked compassion. I heard her say oh God a few times while she was doing my mammogram. I had a great experience with everyone I had contact with. I felt so at ease and cared for during my first visit. The nurse even held my hand during my biopsy and the doctor was very caring and personable. They gave me an appointment the next day with a doctor. I had something very unusual, big blister, to come up on my scar on my breast where Id had a mastectomy and reconstruction 22 years ago. The only thing I didnt like was the wait time but that was very understandable. One thing, I was worked in, had consultation with nurse going over my health records, multiple test, long consultation with Doctor, biopsy of wound, then another consultation with Doctor to decide what I needed to do and make appt. When I called to make appt. they informed me that it would be a long wait because of testing. It was posted on their website, and also on the papers I had to fill out in big, bold lettering, so I was prepared. They also had snacks, tea, and water for the patients. Some even brought their own lunch and snacks, iPads, iPhones, books, ect~~~~~~ to keep them busy. No complaining from patients either, which there was many~~~ in every waiting room, but they had many assistants to keep things moving. If you need a great group to go for breast care or surgery, this is the group you should look into. Thank you very much B C Specialists Group.

Sitting in the waiting room overhearing grumbling about the arrogant, rude Kathryn at the front desk - everyones appointments were incorrect - hoping mine wasnt one of them. Signed in, paid copay, was asked to come back, change, sat for 30 minutes waiting - she then comes over to me and says my appointment is at 12:30 not 11:30 ... I calmly explain that she is incorrect and she continues to rudely insist that I am wrong. I get dressed and decide then not to return as I have had a bad experience before with Dr Steinhaus who wants to remove everyones breasts who has any history of cancer in their family ...This place is hideously run and has the most snarky, ugly front desk assistants. Do yourself a favor and go to Northside right down the street. They are very professional and actually confirm appointments!

Wonderful doctors but why cant they schedule better. Ive been going here for over 12 years and I take a book to read. Today, arrived at noon for a 12:15 appointment. After 45 minutes I move to the next waiting room where I change into a robe. About 1:45 (90 minutes from my appointment time) the technician takes me for mammogram, which only takes about 6 or so minutes. Then I return to a waiting area for another hour. I see the PA at 2:45, which lasted 5-6 minutes and I exit at about 3:00. That is the way it has ALWAYS been for me for 12 years. It bothered me more today as I dont want to sit in an overly full waiting area for over 2 hours during covid. I dont want to be stuck inside a very crowded area. There isnt enough seating for the waiting and patients got creative sitting in an empty exam room and sitting in the dressing/robe room and just standing because there werent enough chairs, for over 2 hours. I give 5 stars for one aspect and 1 star for wait time. If you know it is a bad day, call me and give me the option to reschedule. But I dont think today was a bad day; I think it was a normal day. And, by 2:00 there wasnt anyone in the first waiting room. It seems that everyone arrives between 11:30-1:00 for all of the afternoon.
