Stephanie Sun the audiologist is amazing! I was not happy about needing hearing aids at 61 but she made the process painless and got me excited about it! Recently, I received a direct mail piece from Southern Medical Hearing Centers. Having hearing problems I thought I would take a shot at getting my hearing tested and discuss hearing aids.I met Dr Stephany Sun and she conducted a VERY thorough test of my hearing, using the most incredible technology I have ever seen. While thetechnology was amazing, Dr Sun was even better than that.....if that is possible! Dr Sun matched my hearing loss with hearing aids that were both comfortable and effective. I was a new man with my hearing aid that she recommended. Rarely am I motivated to post reviews, but in this case I just had to document my feeling that Dr Sun and her practice is world class! Could not possibly give a higher recommendation to others that have hearing loss. She is just simply, THE BEST!

I have worn hearing aids for about 20 years but I recently had the most thorough evaluation ever. Elizabeth Mallcott, the audiologist at Southern Medical, was knowledgeable and explained my hearing loss to me in a way that I could understand. She asked lots of questions to learn about my lifestyle so that she could fit me in the hearing aids that were best for me. She also let me try the hearing aids for 30 days! A great experience!

What a wonderfully caring staff! They were punctual,, caring and helped us become informed about all possible hearing tools available to my mom. I sat right there in the office and cried when my mom could hear without being shouted at.

First let me say that I stumbled across this center after seeing several other audiologist. I am not well off so being able to find a set I could afford and with tinnitus management was not easy. Everyone wanted premium prices and if you asked if price was negotiable they would go into cardiac arrest. So I decided to give southern medical even though they are out of network with my insurance. Dr. Sun was awesome, she explained that to her it was about helping people hear again. She let me demo a set for 14 days, and when I returned lets say she made me a deal I could not say no to, they are awesome and I will tell everyone I know.

He has acclimated to them so quickly that he will often forget that he is even wearing them. I have been deaf on one side for 19 years due to acoustic neuroma surgery. Elizabeth analyzed my hearing and situation and recommended the Phonak Cros setup. Crossover hearing aid that takes sound on my deaf side and sends it to my good ear. Words cant express the joy (and less stress) in my life getting to hear in situations that I never could before - public places, walking side by side, if talking on phone... Very professional office, equipment, treatment, and above standard patient care. Hats off to Southern Medical and staff!
