Dr. Board was thorough and understanding. No problem. However, staff seems either underpaid or new to the game. Unresponsive with calls, they forget the patients are still on the phone (off hold or mute )when discussing other patient cases, they do not put you on hold when trying to answer a specific question instead joke or leave the line open with no response or so much of a β€œplease hold β€œ instead dead air or background chatter. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈI canceled a lab/Dr. appt within the time frame to be canceled without being charged , yet, I received a call stating I’d still be charged for my lab.I would have been charged once more upon rescheduling my labs. When addressing this I was switched around to different staff members with no regard (so I was preparing to pay but would cease any future appointments) til I then heard another staff member state in the background (again because background chatter) β€œwe don’t charge for labs if they cancel β€œ . After overhearing this I repeated it to the staff member on the phone with me to make sure she knew I heard and then with a sigh acknowledged it. Hence, I was not charged for a lab I did not take. I was thankful but really confused by the whole situation. A day or so later I received a message regarding my future β€œappointment β€œ which I originally canceled and how they will charge card on file. I’m glad I caught that (even though I canceled within time frame). I don’t like having my card on file but I can also understand that’s how they keep patients accountable, only, life happensπŸ™„

I have to tried to make my first appt with the office for the last 3 weeks. Ive left messages with the new patient coordinator Christina. Never got a call back. I tried emailing and nothing. I called and talked to someone at the office and they assured me shell call me in the couple of days when its my turn. Its been three weeks and nothing. This is the most unprofessional Doctors office Ive ever had to deal with. Its ridiculous!!!

From my first phone conversation with Esra to my consultation and follow up appointments with Dr. Board, Ive had a great experience. Dr. Board reviewed my medical history and looked for areas to optimize my health. Her knowledge of the body, pain management and functional medicine has literally changed my life. Dr. Board ran very detailed labs, analyzed the results, reviewed them with me and gave me next steps I could implement immediately. Dr. Boards bedside manner is amazing and she fosters a collaborative doctor/patient relationship. Every staff member at Atlanta Functional Medicine is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Thank you Dr. Board for helping me to have the best health possible!

My visit to Dr Boards office was extremely good. I walked in and spent less than ten minutes in the waiting room. I had to fill out the new patient paperwork and, when that was done, taken immediately to the back. Dr Board was there. She had just left another patient and took me into an examination room. Dr Board was professional, polite and businesslike. She has great bedside manner and a wonderful way of engaging with patients.I was suffering terrible muscle spasms and Dr Board made several injections into my back and shoulder. She explained what was happening and wanted feedback. Dr Board also informed as to what I could expect in the next couple of days. Sure enough, the pain subsided and Im going back for a follow up.I highly recommend Atlanta Functional Medicine. They are superb medical providers. They care about their patients and they want to do more than push pills. They are a true health care facility.

Dr Board is amazing. Not only is she extremely friendly and empathetic (a rarity among doctors these days), but shes incredibly thorough and knowledgeable. Ive been to her for 2 separate issues over the last 7 years or so, and she has been dead on with her diagnosis both times, even before the tests came back. Shes very adept at dealing with complex metabolic issues and deficiencies and I recommend her to anyone who tells me theyve made the rounds with doctors and dont know whats wrong with them. In fact, Im bringing my mother up from FL to see her this summer. That being said, shes not a magician, so if you have a complex problem to fix, you have to be willing to put in the time and effort--that means making diet changes, taking supplements, exercising, etc.Pro tip: bring a recorder with you when going over test results. There will probably be A LOT to remember!

Dr. Board is brilliant! There is no other way to describe her. She carefully looked at everything about me and took me where I needed to go with my sleep and weight issues. I was amazed. Dr. Board’s calm and professional manner is always so welcoming too.

Dr. Board and her staff are incredibly dedicated to your optimal wellness. Without her team, I would still be couch-bound with little hope of restoring my health after years of misdiagnosed chronic Lyme. I give thanks weekly for her and her team. And I am loving my life again.

Do not reccommend, friendly but no help. I received great help and answers to my issues from the Gynocologist., Dr Karen Miller who worked in that office. The secretaries on the phone spoke horribly of Dr Miller and treated her horribly though she was the best doctor they had. I would .have queatons and send dr miller an email with questions and the office staff would not pass on my emails to her. After Dr. Miller left their practice, I needed to find her for an appointment and they spoke very cruel of her, they wouldnt release my records to her. And told me if I saw her I wouldnt be welcome to return for an appointment. Very unhappy with them.Dr. Karen Miller is the best. She works now at Crabapple integral medicine ! AllThough Gynocologist. She will help every detail your body needs help!

So Im wondering if this group accepts new patients, because it is supposed to be 72 hours before they contact you again or not contact you.
