The veterinarians at this practice are incredibly kind, and genuinely care about the health of your pets. They are current on all the latest medical literature, and take the time to discuss treatment and options with you. I never feel rushed, or feel as though they are pushy about certain things. I have a menagerie of animals, and I am very very picky about who treats them; I would not take them anywhere else. Their vet techs are also the best I have ever seen at a veterinary practice. They are so wonderful, they put you and your pet at ease the minute they walk in the room. Amazing energy, and animals know these things. I think my pets get excited to go and visit a few of them! The front office staff is also great. And don’t get me started on the hours they are open. A vet open on Sunday’s? Yes, please! Just wonderful. Love them.

I have been regularly astounded at the compassion and reliability of Crabapple Knoll ever since I started coming to them. My cat was diagnosed with Stage I kidney disease and since then Ive had no shortage of questions about managing her care. I have called with all kinds of questions and every time Crabapple Knoll has answered in detail via phone, whereas other vets just tell you that youll need to bring your pet in.Ive simply never encountered another vet so willing to go the extra mile and provide quality care not only for the pets but the owners as well. My sister was here visiting from out of state and her 16 yr old, blind, deaf little tea cup Yorkie injured himself the evening before. This Veterinarian was open on a Sunday morning and they were so compassionate to my sisters dog and her it truly touched my heart. They were immediately responsive and gave us options. Their process for examining and admitting her for treatment for acute pancreatitis was swift and highly professional. On pickup the next day, the vet and staff were caring and very thorough with her discharge and instructions for home care. Highly recommend!

This veterinary clinic has an absolute heart of gold! They took in a stray that someone abandoned at a gas station, and provided all the veterinary care that he needed and will put him up for adoption soon. When I performed due diligence of a veterinary clinic for my pet, I was not aware that Crabapple Knoll would end up being completely void of compassion unless they could issue me an invoice.Top notch professionalism that I would expect for my loved one and the confidence it breeds for its owners has many facets that now I am better aware should be researched. Unfortunately for Crabapple Knoll, when it comes to telephone communication with your specific Vet, this clinic is an epic fail in my opinion.Four calls and four detailed messages left with the Front Office staff for Dr. Price over the past three days has resulted in four broken promises and zero communication. Lauren and others were polite, understanding and apologetic but never once did we receive even a common courtesy return call no less an important call from the Dr. I was asked specific questions regarding the exacerbation of an ongoing issue because as I was told it might have been serious. I assume not serious enough for a return call.There are indeed actual circumstances that might dictate a phone call consultation in lieu of an office visit.Crabapple Knoll and Dr. Price, shame on you for being unresponsive to a patient of yours. Whether your unprofessionalism towards myself and my pet is a direct result of a lack of organization upfront or simply a lack of caring given the circumstance, there is no excuse whatsoever for pure negligence.

I was having difficulty getting my dog Desi into our regular vet. He needed to be seen and I was told they could see him 4 days. This happened on more than one occasion. Our dog had a hurt, red eye and needed to be seen asap. Crabapple Knoll Vet Clinic took him the same day I called and had never seen him in the past. I was so amazed at the staffs professionalism and the complete care that Dr. Herrington gave him. We have since been back for allergy-related issues and once again, they didnt cease to amaze me with their care and thoroughness. This is our new pet vet! Would highly recommend them! I have been going to the same vet for over 25 years and I love them but their hours are not always convenient. My cat needed to be seen urgently for an allergic reaction so having driven by Crabapple Knoll a number of times over the years I decided to call them and see if I could get an appoint on Sunday for my baby. They were very accommodating and worked me in. The service from the moment I walked into the door to my meeting with the vet was awesome. They are genuinely nice people who care about animals and their humans. Best of all their hours are very broad which makes it a good solution for those of us who work at 9 to 5 job. I’ve been with the same vet for 25 years but I think I’m going to change and switch all of my animals over to Crabsapple Knoll.💕

After trying several different vets and after moving twice, I finally found the best animal hospital for my aging Pug. Crabapple Knoll has the largest number of veterinarians I’ve seen in one place and they are all so knowledgeable and professional. Every single person works hard there, from administrative staff to the vet technicians to the veterinarians. I always felt that my concerns were heard and that my sweet pug received the best possible care. I had to say goodbye to him almost a month ago and every single staff member ensured he was as happy and comfortable as possible until his final breath. I can’t thank these amazing people enough for their warmth, kindness, care, and compassion. I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

On two separate occasions I had to bring each of my dogs to Crabapple Knoll Veterinary Clinic on the weekend for urgent care. In both cases they got my dogs in quickly and very very compassionate with them (one is very old and the other is a puppy). Their diagnosis was spot on and both dogs recovered quickly. I am very grateful to them and happy to know they are there even if my emergency happens on a weekend!

They have been our vet practice for our dog “Newton” since he was a rescue puppy who is now nearly 10 years old. In my opinion, the folks in this practice really do love their jobs. They have always been professional, kind, and above all … caring. He was quite sick with a respiratory illness when we got him home the very first week. They essentially saved him for us as he had to be put on IV antibiotics. Within 3 days he was a bouncing puppy again. I have been looking for a Vet Clinic that I felt comfortable with that seemed to care about the well being of my dog. My previous Vet Clinic had closed. A friend showed me the effort they made in trying to find owners who would adopt cats and dogs and decided to give they a try. They have the kind of caring attitude that I was looking for and took time to sit down with me and my dog to address the problems and come up with solutions. I found out that they are more than a typical Vet Clinic but a Vet Hospital able to provide blood test in 30 minutes and get to the problem. I look forward to working with these doctors to help my dog which she needs it.

This is the first vet that is I have been to that is fairly priced and everyone and I mean everyone at Crabapple Knoll loves your pet. I have never seen a vet so patient focused. It is an amazing place. The difference is their passion to treat you and your pet with respect and compassion regardless of the situation.

My appointment was scheduled for 7, and they were very prompt. The care for Coco was exceptional and tender. They seem to actually care for Coco and her well being.

When my babies health started to decline, being new to the area I was introduced to Crabapple Knoll. They helped me to do everything possible to help my baby. And then When I unexpectedly had to put my baby down to cancer, Dr. Joe and his staff were there for me, on a Sunday! They explained everything to me, they let me take my time, they never rushed me. Extremely happy with entire experience . . . but I did not expect $313 nor ongoing meds of $2+/day. Do not know how I will find budget to continue expensive medication but I am hoping to figure something out somehow.

I was in need of a new vet for my two16-year-old cats after my current vet closed. When one of my kitties showed signs of mouth pain I took her to Crabapple Knoll. Nothing was visible on exam but we scheduled a cleaning and X-rays. They were booked for nearly 3 weeks. She quit eating and was losing too much weight so they kindly scheduled surgery on Saturday which they normally don’t do. Turns out one tooth was abscessed which was causing the pain. She did very well. But Sunday I had to take my other kitty in because I realized she had quit eating, drinking and very little litter box, apparently stressed from the problems with her sister. She received fluids, anti-nausea shot and appetite stimulant. A week later they both seem pretty much back to normal. I can’t say enough good things about the excellent care and compassion Crabapple Knoll provided for them and for me, as I was a mess. Especially since we were new patients. Plus, their late hours and being available on the weekend is wonderful!

They have routinely gone to extraordinary lengths to provide the very best care for my beloved dogs. I’m so thankful they’re doing what they do.

We usually go to another vet but they are not open on Sunday’s. My dog was throwing up and we didn’t really have another option. Jasmin at the front desk was amazing. Instead of telling us no or pushing us to the afternoon they went out of their way to squeeze us in for a morning appointment to get us checked out. We already had medicine that she had prescribed so she removed that from the bill and removed another shot that she said wasnt necessary at that time. So refreshing for us, as we came from a vet that pushed services. They called the day after to check on my pup after dental surgery. Shes done great and we really appreciate them.

We found a kitten for adoption online. When I expressed interest, they were quick to respond and we were able to meet the kitten the next day! We fell in love and the staff was so kind and made the process incredibly easy. Thank you for helping us find our new family member!

When I moved across Georgia, I had two main concerns: Finding a vet and an auto mechanic. (My doc and dentist were already in metro.) Crabapple Knoll Vet Clinic was my first try and a golden find. Theyve been great, from half-pound kitten to 15-year old senior cat.

This is a really belated post, but we stopped by Crabapple Knoll back in August of 2015 after our dog had passed away and saw the Pet Adoption sign outside, so we stopped by and the vet Ashley said she had recently taken in a dog named Harley. The previous owners wanted to put him down and she refused (thankfully) and once we saw him, we fell in love with him. We just wanted to let Ashley know that we thank her for saving Harleys life so that he can be in ours! Harley is getting older now, but he still keeps us on our toes! Thanks again, Ashley!

Waited nearly 40 minutes to be seen by a vet - no apology/nothing. Then the annual visit for my 6 year old dog and the NEW PUPPY visit combined took the vet less than 5 mins. Bill however was over $600.

Tonight was my 1st time coming to Crabapple Knoll after my dog jumped on the table and ate 20 Christmas cookies (chocolate and peanut butter). Dr. Joe and his staff treated me very well and took care of my dog swiftly.This was after I initially called my primary vet frantically at 5:55pm and they explained to me they were closing soon in 5 minutes and gave me a number to call. I brought my dog Charlie here for the first time after an on going issue that his previous vet was not able to figure out. Not only did the late hours really help and accommodate me and my schedule but when I got there at 8:30, their tech, Taylor, was truly such an angel. She treated Charlie like he was her dog. She spent time with me explaining my options for his itching. As well as going over his food and treats with me to make sure I was feeding him good quality food. Brought our dog in to address a potential medical issue. As usual everyone is very attentive and positive. The vet spent the time to fully explain the possibilities of the issue and answer all my questions. He outlined two next steps of treatment and gave me the relative cost of each to help me make a decision. Ive been using them for many years and I couldnt be happier with their services.

I cannot say enough good things about the Staff and Doctors at CKVC! I had to make a change of our long time Vet after moving across town and read all the reviews and chose CKVC. We have never looked back. Dr. Robistelli is kind, knowledgeable and spends so much time with us on each and every visit. We have now moved to Austin, but still come back to visit and I use CKVC each time we are in town.

IF COULD GIVE ZERO I WOULD......First time there with pet over the age of 20..has several health issues that normal vet advised to see due to they had the diagnostic equipment. Ok we go, Doctor was very pleasent told me wanted to do blood work then we may set up for x rays and such..so took the blood told me might be that evening or next day for results. Next day I hear nothing. So I call (2 days they have had)was told nothing had come back yet....then 4 hours later I receive a call saying I had not been charged(you cant leave if dont pay so huh?) and the blood was lost...I could come back and have it redone....REALLY..if you cant handle something as simple as this why would I or anyone trust you with our pets?

Just switched my cats to Crabapple Knoll upon recommendation from two folks - and Im happy I made the switch! Dr. Hartford was great and the entire staff were considerate and friendly.

We have been coming to this clinic for more than 3 years. My pets were seen by different VDMs but they all were wonderful (doctors: Rebecca Gaston, Donna Carson and Shelby Daniels). My cat Eddie was diagnosed with bladder stones and Dr. Rebecca Gaston did an excellent surgery on him. The doctor did not even mind writing a detail diagnosis and procedure which became so helpful when we filed for reimbursement with the insurance. My adopted dog Pauley was diagnosed with brain lesion which was devastating to me and Dr. Daniels was very patient and understanding. The technicians here were great as well; I was so grateful when I saw a sweet technician carrying my dog Pauley inside to be examined. My family and I absolutely love this clinic and its staff.

Dr. Joe and his team at Crabapple Knoll are amazing. We have been taking our dogs to them at this clinic and their sister clinic at Nesbit Ferry forever. There is no other team I would trust to care for my pets. Thanks for all you do!

I had always heard good things about this place but was happy with my current vet, until...December 2019 I had a very sick older cat. Was at the emergency vet on Christmas Day. It was obvious Charlie was dying yet they didn’t suggest putting him down. They said call your personal vet tomorrow. Well, I did and they were CLOSED until after New Years 2020. They suggested I take him to an animal ER! No! I need compassion here. I called CKVC and they were so sweet. Had never seen my kitty but said to please bring him in ASAP! I did and the whole process was amazing. Now my two kitties will never need to go anywhere else. PS the vet who put him down hand wrote me a sympathy card that was beautiful. Thanks!!

Our mini-poodle Chase has received excellent care by multiple providers here at Crabapple Knoll Vet Clinic. Chase had his first grand mal seizure at 10 years old in the middle of COVID. We called this office in the middle of it in a panic. They helped keep us calm and took Chase in immediately after. They helped us understand seizures, treatment options, and referred us to an excellent neurologist. Thankfully Chase has not had another seizure since and is healthy and happy. Whenever we have questions or need a medication refill we email and receive a quick response. I highly recommend this practice!
