One of the best gyms I have ever been to. Friendly staff, especially the manager! She is always so welcoming and professional. Pro fitness takes cleanliness very seriously, and it shows. Support great gyms like this one.

Pro Fitness gym is a gym for all. You are greeted by the staff who are ready to assist you when needed. The staff are always on the floor cleaning, organizing equipment to make sure it’s neat so that it’s ready for use and the locker rooms, bathrooms and showers are kept clean as well. If you’re looking for a gym, this is the place to be!

This place will change your life. Amazing and knowledgeable trainers, all the equipment you could ever want, a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere, and so many fitness options!

Illinois has a mask mandate but you would never know if you’re in this gym. Not returning and will be contacting the county health department on Monday. Not sure why this gym thinks they don’t have to follow the law and won’t tell their patrons to mask. It’s not worth risking getting my kids sick and won’t need to give them my money.

Joined this gym a few months back as a second gym to use on weekends. Impressed with the amount of equipment they have and I appreciate the way every member cleans off their machine. Great gym cant beat the price! After reading other reviews I am surprised people go public admitting they dont read the contracts they sign. I never in 20 yrs joined a gym that did not have policies.

Unfortunately, not the experience I was hoping for. Didnt care to continue using membership, despite many months of paying, and not using the facility.Called once to cancel, was told no problem. Charge appeared next month. Called again, was told I needed to come in, fill out a form, and pay cancellation fee. Said I didnt want to come in. Was told I could mail in a letter, so I did. Twice. Called the gym each time. No luck. Charged yet again. Disputed the charge via the credit card, and someone actually put energy into arguing the credit card - including sending what arrived to me as illegible documents. It sounds like someone put all that effort into arguing the card company, but zero into cancelling the account. Easily could have taken care of this over the phone. What ever happened to working with each other? How is a cancellation so impossible? I was told when signing up that this wasnt a contract and that I could cancel anytime, and it would take was a phone call. Unfortunately, it seems I was sold. I should have known when my first call to inquire as to pricing was explained in detail, and when I called again to confirm, I was told this info is not available over the phone. After asking again, the young man went ahead and confirmed, and made it sound very easy.Does anyone care to make this right? 2 letters and phone calls, and I am continuing to be charged.**update***Judging by the response from the owner, there doesnt seem to be much acknowledgement or interest in the happenings or on boarding process of new members.A simple, sorry for the incomvenience, we will now cancel your account also works.Instead, you are asking me to now send a certified letter and hide behind a contract, even after hearing that I was told contrary by your staff?Requiring a certified letter after a vague on boarding process, is crtainly unenforcable, and unduly burdensome. Now that you habe seen and heard all this (more than once) is there any interest in making this right?

I absolutely love The staff at Pro fitness. They are all very professional. I hired Dave to teach me how to lift weights properly. being so young he has a lot of knowledge in weightlifting. has a very great personality and easy to get along with He is a wonderful trainer never once made me feel uncomfortable. I would highly recommend Pro fitness to anyone. I love my gym family they always make you feel Welcome

If you’re looking for a great at home workout, check them out. Simple (not easy) but effective workouts with minimal equipment. Plus you can’t beat the price.

I have been a member with Cardinal Fitness since the second owners took over back in 2016. I have been impressed with the changes they have made throughout the years, including new equipment, new classes, and listening to member feedback.I dont understand how anyone could give this gym a bad review unless they cannot manage their finances or do not understand simple contracts.

This gym is decent. They have good bench press areas and dumbbells. The staff is all friendly. They dont communicate the cost of the membership very well though. When I signed up I signed up with a friend of mine as well. Neither of us were aware that wed be charged another $50 just 2 months after sign up. So this gym is not a true $10/mo gym when you add the enrollment fee ($50) with the annual fee ($50) to the $10/mo. Its actually nearly double that at over $18/mo. Just be aware of that when signing up. For that price I could probably get more amenities elsewhere. Event and Planet Purple I would be able to bring a guest any time for that price, which Im not able to do here. $50 also seems like a high annual membership fee for such a small gym. Plus you shouldnt be charged an annual fee for something you havent had for a year yet.

I have been a member of the gym since Feb 2017... I absolutely love the place. It is clean, not over crowded and all the equipments are always in working order. Oscar Tapia is my very own personal torturer..er... trainer and fitness expert. He has a scientific method to his madness. Never has a session ever been boring. He knows his stuff! He switches techniques and workouts to prevent plateauing. I now feel extremely confident about my body and it’s ability to do what is asked of it.

Ive been coming here since it was Cardinal Fitness. Great gym, wide variety of equipment to use (not to mention they just added a ton of new equipment) and great variation depending on your style. Ellypticals, treadmills, steppers, bikes, a machine for any muscle youre trying to work on, as well as plenty of free weights. Environment is very relaxed and friendly. I recently got my father to sign up as well (56 years old) and he has been working out consistently, even on his own, which I think says a lot about a gym seeing as anyone new to working out may be a bit nervous going by themselves or without a buddy. The staff is very friendly and always greet you with a smile. Overall, a positive place to work hard, lose weight, and build muscle. 5 stars from me.

Theyre very cheap and have upgraded a lot of their equipment. If youre looking to get fit, they have most of the things you need to work out all parts of the body. All they dont have a pool. They play a good variety of music in there too, and they have a separate room for physical therapy/special training equipment. For $10 a month or $20 with extra benefits (like bringing a guest), its a great gym for all levels.

Love this gym. The fact that they have towels and spray bottles for the equipment says so much to me as a memeber, they like to keep very clean. Really affordable and just feel good walking into this gym. Employees really seem to show a great appreciation for the club. Perfect size gym with everything I need. Very pleased with the club!

My daughter was there a couple of days ago and got her wireless headphones stolen, she asked multiple times to the staff and managers to help her find them by replaying the cameras or finding another solution but no one has helped her at all, she keeps calling to speak to the manager but she keeps ignoring the calls or sending others to speak for her. Do not recommend at all

Its a nice gym. The staff is friendly. My wife and I are new to going to the gym so it seems like a good fit. Not judgy.

This place is a rip off. My son is in college, only home in summer. This company changed ownership in November, right afterward they charged my sons debit card which caused his bank account to be overdrawn. Their position on this is that they dont care, guy named David is a joke.

Great gym. Been coming here since it used to be Cardinal fitness. They recently added tons of great new cardio equipment, even better than other more expensive gyms such as LA fitness. This might not be a huge facility with pools and a basketball court but it has everything you need and more for cardio and weight lifting. Friendly staff and welcoming community at this gym. Great local business. Can’t beat the value for the price.

I love this gym, it has all the equipment and weights that expensive gyms offer for ten bucks. Plus its a very friendly environment! People of all ages and body types come here...thankfully not a gym full of meatheads.

The people are super friendly, the facility is always clean, and the price is amazing. Its the most complete gym with machines, free weights, cardio, and even a punching bag that you can get for $10.
