While the doctor was nice and the exam went well, the policies and hidden costs they have are not and I wish I never went. Only some charges that you will be responsible for are made transparent up front, and after the insurance company gets through with you, you end up paying more than you were led to believe. An additional $70 for a contact lens fitting is outrageous, especially since it was the same brand I had. They force you to pay for that to get a new prescription, but after all these costs, I cant afford to fill it (which is far more expensive through them anyway).

I had a good experience with the eye doctor, no issues there. My only issue, and I will be contacting my insurance about it, was the forced charge for myself and my son for an eye scan that is not covered by insurance. I went for a checkup (covered by insurance) to get scammed and forced into paying for this scan. If you dont pay for the scan you do not get seen. Target desperate for money? When I questioned the assistant she stated the doctor wanted it performed even though there was no indication or complaints from myself prompting the need for it to be performed. Very disappointed. Kind of like going to the dentist and be given fluoride thats not covered by insurance and forced upon you!

My overall experience was very good, my only complaint is that they are using covid as an excuse to upcharge for their doctor visit. They made me pay an extra $40 for imaging because they can’t dialate the eyes due to covid precautions. They told me I would have been refused my appointment if I didn’t pay for the extra testing. How is this possible when I have been there in the past as definitely refused getting my eyes dilated and they can still see me?? VERY WRONG!!

Optical service was acceptable, but they way I was treated by the office staff regarding my daughters insurance issue was unacceptable. They were wrong about the issue and rude. I have never been back-I can go elsewhere and be treated better.

I have been going to Target Optical for several years. I have been slowly not liking it too much. I feel like Im being herded like cattle when Im there, not like a person. I have been thinking of changing eye doctors and what happened today did it for me. I will never step foot in another Target Optical. I am having blurred vision in my left eye. Thought it was a migraine coming but its hasnt gone away for over 24 hours and I do not have a headache. Thought it was my contacts so I changed them, wasnt the problem. Started to get scared and called. Explained everything and the only times they can see me is in the middle of the day in the next 2 days or in 2 weeks for later appointments, I have no one to drive me home because I was told they would have to dilate. She then instructs me to call another Target to see if they have better hours. Im so upset that this is your common practice. Shame on you! The closest target to me doesnt bill medical insurance for eye emergencies. Called another practice and they are squeezing me in TODAY to be sure nothing serious is going on. THAT is how you treat patients. Target, you have lost me and my family as patients. Im sure you dont care and it wont hurt you. Disgusted.

No stars!!! Not happy at all first time I have used them and will not go back. I called to order my contacts over the phone like I have 2 times before and the girl answered took all my info read it back to to me and continued to type the incorrect expiration date after calling and clarifying the correct info. finally everything was put in I got a receipt in my email for the credit card charge and was told 3-5 days I should receive my contacts and thought everything was done until 10 days later still no contacts. I called target to have them track the order and come to find out the order for the contacts was never put in by the employee. So this employee said we will expedite my order and you should get them in 1-2 days. I hung up once again thought it was all fixed and done. Nope, here we are 3 days later still no contacts I call get the tracking number asked when the expected arrival date is and was told they dont have one yet. I said if these were suppose to be expedited then why is there no arrival date. She could not answer that. I then advised I want the girl I spoke to on Friday to call me to explain to me why I was told 1-2 days and why havent I received them.

AMAZING customer service! From the first time I made an appointment Jen, Stephanie & the doctors have been outstanding. So incredibly helpful every step of the way! I’m so pleasantly surprised at how painless & efficent everything is here. 11/10, I absolutely love this location!

The service, expertise and knowledge is exceptional from Jen and staff. She went above and beyond any service we’ve experienced at any optical service in the industry. Dr. Malik was very professional and proficient in the exam.Highly recommend although they are usually busy, it’s worth the wait for the help they provide. Lisa & Phil

Dr. Malik was wonderful. She is thorough and took her time answering all of my questions. The staff in the optical section were really helpful as well. They found the perfect glasses for me. Would definitely recommend this location.

The doctor was great and my exam went well. They didnt have my prescription in the trial so they had to order me some new trails. I told them I was moving out of the country and really needed to get my contacts in ASAP. (You would think four weeks in advance would be good enough)...A week later, no call that the trials were in. When I asked why it was taking so long the response was the associate didnt realize she had to order the trails so we ordered them now. A WEEK LATER. A week later they showed up at the store (so now three weeks after my exam). I ordered my contacts and I asked them if they could expedite the contacts and wave the fee... they flat out said we cant do that. So not only am I going to get my contacts two days before I leave the country, they wouldnt even wave the fast shipping fee even though they messed up. I told them Day 1 that I needed everything done before a certain date, and it wasnt done. Terrible customer service. No one should have to wait three weeks for a trial pair of contacts AND have to pay for a mess up on their end.

Horrible!!! They were absolutely nice and accommodating setting up the appointment. But, when I was there in the exam room, I realized how incompetent they are. They misplaced my original contact lenses, then gave me incorrect contact lenses to try on insisting that those were the correct ones. Then, she kept pushing me to buy Acuvue through them. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!!
