Showed up in this clinic about 80 days ago. Staff set me up for two appointments that they call a Part 1 and Part 2. Went through a detailed eating, exercise, medication, blood work discussion along with goals and medical history. Definitely leave the appointments feeling informed. Followed their program best I could - eating plan is easy to follow and I wish I spent a little more time focused on exercise. The program I choose included eating/exercise as discussed above, medication, hormone optimization, and two different non-invasive devices to focus on my belly one to remove fat and other to build muscle. 80 days in - 42lbs of fat gone, body fat is down 4.2%, and my waist line has gone from 42 inches to 36.5. However, the best part of this is how I feel. My quality of life is back to how if felt 15 year ago. Strength, Energy and Endurance. I couldnt be more happy - I highly recommend but you have to be committed.

I can only comment on the weight loss program. I 100% agree with the reviewer below. There is a single plan which includes adoption of a keto diet plan that is widely available online, supplements/prescriptions, and 10 minute monthly weigh-ins with the staff.I went to another weight loss clinic several years ago, lost 40 lbs, and kept it off for years - until the pandemic. That clinic, conversely, have several plans tailored to your lifestyle, fitness regiment, body goals (thin vs muscle), and the Dr. personally saw patients on a weekly basis for check-ins and shots, i.e., fat burners and vitamins that support weight loss and speed fat burning. That other clinic also cost less and I saw 6-10 lbs of progressive weight loss every month.I spent quite a bit and, despite initial results,the plan did not work for me and they did not seem to be able to offer any alternative strategies. Also, I had serious issues from one of the medications. It was replaced by a supplement that is available on Amazon. Amazon had the product labled as being cancer causing. So, even though I paid for it, I obviously didnt take it.That said, if you are someone starting a weight loss program for the first time this may work for you. My only suggestion would be to cancel if you are not seeing consistent weight loss at each weigh-in. Dont keep wasting your money.

Bought the Groupon for 40 units of Botox. The provider was VERY knowledgeable and straight-forward. Took the time to ask what I was looking to achieve and explained the procedure very well prior to the injections. It has only been 5 days but so far, Im very happy with the results and plan on returning in the future. Highly recommend!

Ive been getting Botox for more than 7 years in various places and have found that Dr. Sanderson is absolutely the best. She is so incredibly skillful at creating beautiful aesthetic effects with her Botox injection placements such that I looked like Id gotten a mini-facelift post-Botox injection. I have somewhat hooded eyes that she was able to lift using Botox. My friends all said Wow; you look great....you must be getting a lot of rest due to the pandemic!. My friends and I all plan on visiting Dr. Sanderson in the near future.

Every process was explained with pros and cons. Each outcome was spot on. I continue to follow the programs that are given and see and feel the results. This is a very positive environment and you feel free to discuss what needs you have. The journey is not over and Im grateful to have Dave and his staff along for the ride! I always get my questions answered and I dont feel pressured into making any decisions I am not comfortable with. My experience below....( this is taken from an email I sent to Weight Loss & Vitality June 2020):...the response from the clinic was dismissive, unprofessional, blaming, and without accountability...I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO WASTE THEIR MONEY ON THIS CLINIC (especially if you have a history of disordered eating)....there is no mental health or emotional support in this program!In an attempt at due diligence, I scheduled an initial consultation with one of the providers...I was promised in the consultation an individualized program, specialized diet, and a new way to look at fitness than how I had in the past that would help change my past habits and get me out of my past cycle of over exercising and losing/gaining weight....I thought great.....So much so, that I handed over close to $3000.I came in for my initial appointment )…I was very surprised to learn that my personalized plan that I was sold was a photo copied version of the Keto diet and medication and herbal supplements (it was strongly implied, if not directly stated, that this is the same treatment for all patients)....No personalization was involved and very little guidance was given.My discomfort began to increase, but I wanted to trust the clinic and staff.I then came in for my first Vanquish treatment (part of my package).....I came in and the provider...she was new and seemed untrained and unsure of what she was doing. She asked me what treatment I came for...I clearly stated Vanquish. She began the treatment (it did not seem to be the correct one...I asked if it was, she dismissed my question)....she began incorrectly administering another fat reducing treatment and stated we have a lot to work with about my stomach area (I was completely mortified). She continued to administer an extremely painful treatment for almost 30 minutes and then blamed me for not being essentially tough enough to handle it.I had enough and stated again….IS THIS VANQUISH??? She finally heard me, she went to get help from a manager.they came in, instead of being apologetic or checking on my well being. They laughed it off, it told me I was “lucky” that I received a $500 equivalent treatment for free….as I write this now, I find this encounter unethical and unacceptable.At my first monthly weigh in (around mid-November)….I had lost 12 lbs….great! However, before coming to your clinic…I had lost 50 lbs taking phentermine, eating a low calorie diet, and exercising. I had gained back some weight when my father passed (shortly before beginning the program) and I stopped taking Phentermine. So not a big surprise that the combo or meds/reduced calories the weight came off….however, nothing from the program really helped (in my opinion). I went for my follow up consultation and the only feedback I got was “great, you know what you’re doing, keep going”….Ummm, that’s what my $3k gets me? If I knew what I was doing I wouldn’t be there. I tried to engage her in a dialogue about goals or moving forward, but it seemed clear she wanted me out fo the office.Even though I lost weight, I left feeling dejected and unmotivated.My final breaking point was at my December weight check…I can’t remember….I either lost or gained a bit. I had the same provider, her comment was that she was “not concerned” because “a lot of people gain this time of year”….well yeah maybe, but I just shelled out almost $3K to your clinic to help me LOSE WEIGHT….her response was “You know what you are doing and will get back on track”. When I left, I knew I would never return…I felt humiliated, dejected, lost, confused, blamed, and worse off than when I had started with the program 2 months earlier.To make matters worse, no one ever followed up with me ever after that. Not one call, check in, nothing….this was not what was sold/marketed.It is not my impression that the staff is working out of passion for the field and it comes across in the interactions.

These folks offer a great service! Within a well kept and welcoming medical clinic, they provide amazing customer service and quality patient care. David, Robbie and crew really made my weight loss a team effort. I went in expecting to get results -- I was not anticipating the high level of personalized care, conscientious follow-up and genuine concern for my well-being. My experience has been wonderful as the practitioners here truly care about you overall and provide you with the best care for not just weight loss but improved overall health. They are not about selling you products but about making you healthier. Nichole is a very caring and compassionate while giving you excellent advice and care. I have signed up for Botox from her next. David is really informative and knowledgeable and helped me with an underlying Thyroid condition and the front desk staff is friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend the Alexandria location and the wonderful staff there.

She explained the nutritional part of the program and what I needed to do to reach my goal. I had a few other questions and she promptly called me the following day with the information I needed. The office is very clean and well designed. The staff was friendly and seemed to care about my concerns. Of course they tried to upsell me but never once did I feel pressured. I was feeling depressed and run down. Medications, vitamins, Gatorade and water we’re not helping me. I wanted to try and infusion to boost my energy level and vitamins. I was administered a Baxter cocktail and a large bag of fluids. I had purchased this via Groupon but was later told I could get the same rate by calling the clinic directly. I have left the clinic about an hour ago and I already feel better. Thank you so much I will be back!

Truly an exemplar of the doctor/patient relationship. Orientation was an education in itself followed by a careful examination of the choice of therapy, all with no pressure. Instead, caution was advised for any choice. Went there for weight loss and low energy, feeling so much better after only the first visit.

Stay away from this place!! This establishment is responsible for one of the worst medical experiences of my adult life. I came here for IV therapy. The nurse who saw me - Robbie Bauder - failed to properly inject the IV on 4 attempts, causing me a significant amount of pain. When I told her that I was feeling unwell from her attempts puncture my veins, she condescendingly suggested that that I should visit the ER. I have never experienced more negligent medical care and truly callous customer service. Do not trust your well being to this facility!

Last month, I visited the the Weight Loss and Vitality clinic in Alexandria. After a detailed visit I was prescribed Sermorelin which is a growth hormone peptide along with several weight loss medications. Over the last several weeks I have been impressed with the improvement of my skin completion, sleeping patterns, weight loss and improved of endurance and strength. Im very please with my experience at the clinic and the professionalism of the staff.

I cant say enough great things about this place!!! Dr. Bauder and his wife Robbie are more knowledgeable than any other clinic in the surrounding area. My experience has been totally different from the other 1 & 3-star reviews. In fact, I honestly can’t imagine how those reviewers could post such negative things or even have a bad experience there. I call BS on them because I truly can’t imagine anyone in that office treating anyone poorly. Though, I will say NO clinical staff, medication or treatment of any kind can “fix or cure crazy,” that’s for sure! To me, the bad mouthing here sounds like it must be coming from people who are either very difficult to please and nothing will ever make them happy; or they must have some other serious mental or medical issue(s) going on. Probably more mental than anything else. I truly feel MORE SORRY FOR THE STAFF for having to try and please everyone who calls or walks through the door from the general public.Everyone at Weight Loss & Vitality are genuine, caring people who really want to help their patients. They’ve helped me and I love their positive uplifting staff! I refer friends there all the time and they have all said the same thing about the WLV Team. The staff were unfriendly

I get severe, chronic migraines and am on reoccurring medical botox for preventative treatment. The few weeks before my botox is due, I start to get headaches and migraines that are pretty unmanageable. Ive heard of the myers cocktail which is good for people with chronic pain and since I have a problem absorbing meds and food when Im sick I decided to give the IV Infusion a try. Yesterday I felt like I was incredibly dehydrated even though I drink 3 liters of water a day and woke up with a migraine so I figured it would be a good day to try an infusion.I called and Robbie answered and was able to fit me in last minute. She was also the nurse who administered the IV. The place was really relaxing, she turned off the lights and offered me a blanket. I am unfortunately a person who visits the hospital a few times a year and this place was like a spa in comparison.After I left I wasnt sure what to expect but I slept so well. I almost always wake up in the middle of the night in pain or the morning in pain and I didnt have any. I didnt feel dehydrated or full of inflammation. Im so happy this is an option for me for the future.I highly recommend this business. Robbie was warm and wonderful and had a gentle touch. Im used to needles and pain by now but its a bonus when someone is gentle on your arm.

Rude, didnt seem to know what they are doing. They werent able to explain to me what my results meant. I will never go back to this place. I left in tears with how my appointment went.

I came to Dr. David in January for Thyroid Management. He and his staff really went above and beyond to help me understand my condition. Guess what??? My thyroid levels are great now. Ultra Femme 360 and BL Emsella ChairI have had urinary incontinence for a few years now and just accepted that it was a part of aging. (I am over 45) I would always have leakage when I sneezed. Then I had leakage even when I didnt sneeze. I always felt like I had to go to the bathroom. The worst part was that I got up at least 2 times nightly to go to the bathroom. I was tired all day and couldnt wait to go to sleep at night at about 11 pm only to get up at 2 am and 4 am to go to the bathroom. I starting noticing the advertising material for the Ultra Femme when I would go to Weight Loss to get my Glutathione IVs. I read about it but I did not think it would help me. I even went to my Primary Care Doctor who wanted to refer me to physical therapy and then put me on medicine. That was not an option. I talked it over with the staff at Weight Loss and decided to give it a try. They told me that it would help but to be realistic in my expectations. I also wanted to do the Ultra Femme/Emsella for the vaginal tightening benefit. I did 3 sessions of the Ultra Femme 360 (internal and external) in December 2018. After my 2nd treatment I realized that I was not getting up at night to use the bathroom. After the 3rd treatment I started drinking loads of water during the day to see if I would have to get up at night. I didnt. Say what! It actually worked for me. I also noticed a definite tightening of the vaginal canal. My husband also says that the walls are smoother. In January 2019 I did 4 treatments with the BTL Emsella Chair. I noticed after completing this treatment that my urine stream is stronger and I dont feel like I have to go to the bathroom as urgently. But when I go it comes out strong. It used to be quite weak. One other note. I get IV Glutathione weekly/or every 2 weeks with a large bag of IV fluids. Before I did the Ultra Femme, I would have to rush to the bathroom as soon as I finished my IV. I would even have to stop on the way home to use the bathroom (and I only live 8 miles away). One day after I finished my IV, I just left and did not use the bathroom. This was after I had done my 2nd Ultra Femme. On the way home I realized I did not make a bee line for the bathroom after I finished my IV. Amazing!! Now, I still have occasions of leakage if I sneeze super hard but nothing more than that. My situation has improved over 90%. I love sleeping all night long.

This weight loss clinic is being operated by doctors ,which gave me more confidence to start a program with them . I lost 20 pounds in one month which I couldnt do myself for the past 6 years . I feel great ,sleep better and have more energy to spend on my personal life .They are the best medical weight loss clinic I have ever seen .Thank you Dave !

After my procedure- I look like myself- just refreshed. youthful and natural. Robbie was excellent! I went in ‘knowing exactly what I wanted’. After her assessment, she made her recommendations. I’m so glad I listened to her. I got Restalyne and Dysport. My results were better than I had expected. It also helps that she’s a Registered Nurse!The facility is beautiful. It’s clean and very comfortable. My daughter - who’s a teen- waited for me in the reception area and slept like a baby! LoL. It was that comfortable!All in all- I had a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend Weight Loss and Vitality in Alexandria, VA. It’s a one stop shop! Ask for Robbie! She’s amazing!Regarding price. It’s comparable to others so don’t worry. It also depends on what YOU need and decide to do and everybody’s needs and desired outcomes are different. She will sit with you first to discuss your personal plan and explain everything to you BEFORE you proceed. Another thing I appreciated about Robbie- she will NOT do what is not safe or practical. I really appreciate that as a clinician.Everything I mentioned are things I would want to know. I hope this helps with your decisions.
