This location got be the worst Dr office I ever been in my life. I got here on time just to found out the Dr was running 30 minutes behind. No one bother to call me to let me know the Dr was running behind. I woke my four years old out her sleep. This place is very unprofessional not Recommend anyone to go there. Specially the medical assistant by the name of Xiamorra Rude and she has nasty attitude. I’m giving this place - -0 for wasting my time.

I’ve been to this clinic about 4 times now and I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes. I’ve been early, on time, and 5 minutes late into my appointments, always with the same outcome.Dr. Sabio is very knowledgable and polite; aways answers all my questions and makes sure at the end of the appointments that you have no more concerns before leaving, even when he’s clearly very busy. That being said, this is not an urgent care clinic or hospital, or a specialty doctor’s office. This is a primary care clinic where you can be treated for multiple illnesses, monitor your health, or be referred to a specialist if needed, among other things. My lab results have always been ready within hours instead of days!I’ve always left this clinic happier than I arrived, and I’ve been to several places in the area with rude personnel that didn’t seem to care about me.For the services they provide, they are amazing. Do not hesitate to use their services.

If there was 0 stars I would give them 0 stars. I picked a Doctor there when it first open. The Doctor went on a personal leave but no one called to say do not come or pick a different Doctor. Said Doctor moved to a different office but again no one communicated. I was sick so I had to see the nurse practitioner. She was wonderful but she went on vacation and again no one called. Long story short. I now have a different doctor in the same practice. My physical scheduled for tomorrow but I didnt hear anything at all. I called, I am sorry we cant see you tomorrow you need to reschedule. What ??? on top the lady that answer the phone was eating while talking to me and her tone was rude. I go there because it is convenient but I think is time . There is no space here to tell you everything I have gone through with them. Dont do it !!! they seem wonderful when you make the appointment.

Hard to be seen when no one answers the phone.Ive been trying to call this office just to schedule a COVID test for a procedure I’m having. First time was put on hold for over 5 minutes (someone just answers and puts on hold, doesn’t say anything), second try it just rings and rings until I am once again put on hold and once again waited over 7 minutes. Third try and they just answer and hang up! Real professional.Trust the other reviews. Recommend driving out to Fair Oaks, better physicians and way better office staff.

It absolutely makes sense that the rating is so low for this location. The young lady answering the phones ABSOLUTELY does not want to help anyone. I have been on hold over 30mins just to schedule a COVID test. I called the main ofc. to see if they would help me and I mustve got the one lady that actually HATES her job!! She directed me back to the central scheduling line of which someone has yet to answer-- and counting!! So, I tried calling back to the main ofc. and the calls were placed on hold w/o any type of acknowledgement. Who is running this place-- this is totally unexceptable!!

Overall my son and I had a very good experience at the office. The staff was very helpful and the doctor assisted us rather quickly at the office. A few weeks later we did a virtual MD visit! The doctor was 45 minutes late. Thank God I was at home and not at the office waiting

Tried to make an appointment and the person who answered the phone seemed annoyed that I was calling in the first place, as if helping me was the last thing they wanted to do on earth. I asked for the name of the call center representative and she said she was not comfortable giving me that information. I asked for manager, she did not want to transfer me over. In the end she did, and her manager ALSO had an attitude and did not apologize for the behavior of their staff. It all starts from the top to the bottom, a managers competence and integrity is displayed in the staff they employ. As a patient of Inova, this a very disappointing experience, and I will not be visiting this office.

Dr Sharon Malcolm was kind, through, attentive. The staff was fun, light-hearted and kind. I had a great visit!Ive seen some bad reviews posted here, but they seem to me to be made by people without a great understanding of how unique and varied a day in a doctors office can be (from the perspective of the staff). Give a little grace, people.

I would give them zero stars if I could one question why didn’t you tell your patients that the COVID test was to be sent off and the results wouldn’t be back for almost a week. Why when the results are lost are you still lying and saying they are pending terrible customer service. I had to find my results myself. So thanks lady that just called me after I got them to send y’all the results but I already knew the answer.

When Dr. Malcolm was there, the office seemed a bit better but has now seemed to decline in service. I called today and asked about closing and was told 4 or 4:30, I said the website says 5; the response was, thats probably right - I was still not given the a confirmed closing time. The satff just doesnt seem to care much about patient interaction.

Second time coming to this office, first visit was great. Admittedly I was 7 mins late to my appointment, rushing from DC to get there, and walking in, I patiently waited for a patient to finish his conversation with the receptionist. When it was my turn, I was told that I was too late and needed to reschedule. The reason why, billing. I spend 45 mins rushing to the office and because I was personally 7 mins late and patient for another person to compete their conversation, I had to reschedule. I admit fault, but is that the way patients should be treated, I have always been flexible when the doctor is running behind. May want to think past can you bill for the visit, there is a person behind that bill. I hope the next visit is better or I would be happy to switch providers.

Dr. Malcolm and her staff have proven themselves to be very available and persistent in their follow ups and quality of service, as well as bedside manner. On a Friday evening, I received a call on my cell from Dr. Malcolm to discuss a matter at hand, that was not time sensitive. I was very impressed by her time, sincereness, and follow through of the items she said she would do as soon as we got off the phone. The office itself is small and more welcoming than most. Ive only seen one person in the waiting room during a visit, and their complimentary waters are also a detail Ive never noticed in any other doctors office. I am grateful I connected with a great physician in the area that I feel I can call regarding any health matter.

Doctor Sabio is the worst doctor Ive seen so far. He doesnt have straight answer to your questions. Every time that I had a concern or question he was always taking notes and I thought he was going to give me a medical advise or solution, but NOT he was making referrals for me to see another doctors. In other words, he didnt know how to answer my questions. One of my concern was that I have clear signs of bad circulation. My low legs skin color changed and Ive seen that in my dad who has hypertension condition as well. Doctor Sabio did a referral for me to have a vascular surgery WHAT????. I was just asking to see what steps I should take. I had several questions and for every one of my questions he did a referral (A not logical referral). I will NEVER visit his office again. That explain why he always have spots available.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Dr. Desai! Shes a brilliant woman who loves her job. Ive only been a patient for a year, but she always takes time to talk to me about all my concerns, healthy wise as well as emotionally. She refers me to the correct doctors for other issues and her follow procedure is spot on. I HIGHLY recommend her to everyone.

I attempted to schedule multiple appointments with this group and was no showed by them both times. First they called and rescheduled the day before my appointment due to a medical emergency with one of the doctors. Fine. Except they couldnt reschedule me until weeks later, and I accepted. The day of my second attempted appointment it was snowing, so I called the morning of the appointment and they confirmed and told me that they were not closing early. I go to the office at my scheduled time and the doors are locked, no one inside. I recieved no phone call or email informing me that they were closing. DO NOT attempt to visit this medical group. They are rude, inconsiderate and will waste your time.

I should have taken all these negative reviews into consideration. All they care about is your money, they absolutely do not care about patients health. Took me over a month to get an appointment with Dr. Sabio and never got to see him. I went in for an annual, however a few weeks ago I went to the ER due to high blood pressure. At the visit they advised I can either do the annual check up or address the HBP issue ......I thought that was the whole point of getting an annual check up to address any issues. So if I did the annual check up, I couldnt talk about my HBP incident. That blew my mind that I had to walk out, spike to the office manager and solved absolutely nothing. Avoid this place if you really care about your health.

Without a doubt the absolute worst doctor’s office I’ve ever dealt with. They’ve had a couple of good doctors over the years but they leave often. The last time I made an appointment I showed up and the front desk said there had been confusion and that they should have called me to tell me the person I had the appointment with couldn’t actually see me that day and that “someone should have called me”. Yesterday after we had received a foot of snow I called the office repeatedly to see if an annual checkup appointment was still on and received a recording every time that the office was not open. Today when I called to reschedule, the woman who answered at the front desk in Old Town (I verified that with her), she repeatedly insisted they had been open and insisted someone had tried to call me. Rather than let it go, I checked my iphone and I had called 10 times and had received no calls from the office. All she had to do was back down from the argument but insisted over and over again. Then when I asked to speak to the person who had tried to call me she said not to come into the office if I brought my attitude with it and hung up. I found another doctor’s office!!

Dr. Desai was my primary care doctor for the 4 years I lived in Alexandria, VA. I just recently moved to Florida a few months ago and Googled the office phone # and address to have my records transferred and saw that there are some bad reviews of her and the office. My experience with her has been nothing but fantastic. She DOES most certainly take time with her patients, is caring and personal. I actually wish I could have transported her with me down here with me in Florida because I will never find another Dr. that I could ever relate so well with again. She gets an A++++ from me.

This office is a joke. They are constantly losing doctors. When I requested a sick visit, they told them that the wait would be over a week. If you want to refill a prescription, you always need a new appointment because you doctor will have left invariably when the refill comes due. Avoid at all costs.

Doctors and staff were so unhappy they turn over quickly. The new doctors won’t give you prescription refills because they don’t know you personally, so you have to schedule a whole new appt. even though you just saw another doctor in the same practice (who quit and left unexpectedly) recently. You waste extra time and money on extra visits because they can’t keep staff.

I’ve had two negative experiences to share. Twice I’ve made appointments for vaccines and then been turned away when I got there. The first time was a flu vaccine and the second time for Tdap. Both times there was an order in the Epic system from my Inova doctor in Arlington. Both times they accepted the appointment but then changed their minds when I went through the hassle of getting there.I live near this old town office so it would be convenient to get minor things like lab work and vaccines done here but they do not play nice with the rest of the Inova system. If that’s going to be their position then they shouldn’t have accepted the order in the system and taken the appointment to begin with. That’s not respectful of my time. Fortunately CVS is a block away and was happy to provide both vaccines and covered 100% by insurance.

I take meds regularly and had to find a family physician to manage my prescription because my time with my current doctor is ending. I scheduled an appt w Dr Moore for intro appt and physical. I am running low on meds so I call to get them refilled and they tell me that Dr Moore left immediately after my appt and that another doctor wont prescribe without seeing me however I cant make an appt in the timeframe before my meds run out. After a few minutes of debate the girl I was taking to asks me to hold on and hangs up on me. I call back and go through the whole thing again with another person. It ends with this girl telling me she will get a doctor to call me. I didnt get a call so I had to call an emergency line to keep from running out.

If I could have given less than one star I would have. I made an appointment on February 28th, 2018 for March 22, 2018. The practice called me one hour before my appointment to let me know that the physicians at that practice couldnt help me with my concerns. I think that is extremely rude and unprofessional for a medical care office to wait a month to let me know that they couldnt treat me. I will not be going to any Inova office now because of this. Maybe pay attention to the patients concerns, its literally your job.

What I shared with the Doctor traveled outside of that office. The bedside manner was ok, but they were too quick to want to put me on precipitation meds for a condition that didnt require it necessarily. The Doctor behaved as though she was uncomfortable to touch me. How can you give a physical without getting up and close on the patient?Back in the day Doctors would check your eyes, ears, throat, nails, feet and ask you about your diet. All they do now is take your blood and your money send you on your way.

I just left the office of Dr. Desai, with whom I had an appointment scheduled for 8:30am this morning. I arrived at the doctors office at 8:15 (15 minutes early) with my new patient forms completed - I had filled them out online prior to my appointment, last night. I was checked in, my vitals taken, sat in the exam room for about 5 minutes, THEN an office staff person came in and said Dr. Desai had just texted (at 8:45) and said she would be late and could I re-schedule. This is RIDICULOUS. Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. I cannot begin to say what an inconvenience this was. If only doctors were held to the same standards as people in corporate world. I will find a different practice, one that has an ounce of respect for others time.

Seriously...do they even do anything here? Besides take your money? I had a clogged ear...and I needed someone to drain it. My last dr. in richmond did this simple procedure in 5 mins. I scheduled an appt with Dr. Sharon Malcom. She looked in my ear and told me that I had a wax build up. I was expecting her to get the tools they use to drain it - only to hear her tell me they dont do that procedure there and she would refer me to a place that does. WHAT?!? This is my PRIMARY DOCTORS office. These kinds of things are what they are supposed to do!!! So I basically paid a $20 copay for her to tell me what I already knew and to refer me to ANOTHER dr who can do this 5 second procedure. In addition to paying another copay for the new dr! Unreal! Find a new Dr. office that actually CARE for you, and not just take your money and send you to someone else. Ugh.
