Almost all Labcorp locations are the same.5. whenever my doctor asks me to do any test from Labcorp, I request my doctor to recreate test work order for Quest Diagnostics.

The first time I went to this location it was fine the other two times the ladies were rude this last time I took my daughter which is 2 to get blood drawn the lady said if it was her kid she would never allow for the doctor to request so many tests done and that she would’ve asked for another way to test her but kept repeating that she would never do this to her child and the lady kept blaming me because she said I didn’t hold her down hard enough even though she gave me no instruction beforehand honestly I don’t like seeing my child cry but the tests the doctor needed were important and I do not think it was professional to give her opinion on what I need to have done for my daughter especially since she does not know why these tests are being requested

Had a great experience today. The receptionist was kind and patient. Major props to the phlebotomist Latisha! She was skilled and gentle.The check in process was easy. Only had to wait three minutes to be seen.

I made a mistake of ignoring all these bad reviews regarding how long you actually have to wait at this location and how poor their service is and went in there. Let me tell you I waited more than 45 minutes and I was still not being called in to do a simple pre-employment drug test. You would literally be spending your time better and wiser if you go to any other location even if the drive is as long as the wait at this location!

While I didn’t read the reviews I didn’t think you had to for a simple drug screening test. Like everyone else stated, this location is extremely rude. I came yesterday to do a pre employment drug screening with my child who walked in with me when I signed in. Waited an hour and was refused service because he was with me. That wasn’t even the issue. The issue was the managers rude response and tone for that matter…. which was well that’s our policy and then she just walked off. Today I am here. Appt is at 9. Arrived early as the door states that drug screens are from 8-3. Check in and now it’s I have to wait until 9am because that’s when drug screenings start. This place is impossible.

The receptionist behaved very rude, she made me wait for over 30 minutes until I called her supervisor and she forced her to serve me. This is very disappointing to see how people are treated based on their color or region (I am an Asian)

PLEASE DO NOT GO THEREI’ve taken my son for blood work he’s 17 months old.The nurse came and poke a needle and she couldn’t draw his blood and then she her co worker to assist her and as she did earlier with his left hand she did same thing with his right hand and no bloodAfter few try they accused me for not having him properly hydratedI said you could have simply asked me before torturing my sonPlease if you love your children I’m sure you do. Checked in and was waiting for a horrible experience after reading all the negative reviews. Appointment took about 45 min. So yes there was a wait. Front desk was direct and clearly inundated with patients, but she wasn’t rude. Just didn’t have time to waste. Some goes for the women who did my blood work. She was quiet, but polite. The place clearly gets overbooked at times and that’s not something they can control. All the staff I interacted with were straight forward and I could see how folks could take that as rude. They all just seemed overworked to me.

Do yourself a favor and go to a different location. The receptionist is rude and honestly does not seem like she knows what she is doing. The online check in does not work. I never received a text message and when I asked the receptionist she told me they had already called me (they didnt) and that I would have to continue waiting. I wish I would have read the other reviews and gone somewhere else.

Went here this morning to do a blood draw without an appt. When I got up to the desk, the man behind the counter told me to go to a machine and check in and then go stand outside. I asked him how long he thought it would take for me to be seen because I couldn’t be there for three hours, obviously. He said I can’t give you a specific time. I responded that I was not looking for a specific time but just needed to know if I was looking at one hour or three hours. He again said I can’t give you a specific time. This went on several times and eventually I said you’re not listening to me. I don’t want a specific time I just need to know a rough estimate because I only have a hour. He refused to answer so I said that I wanted to speak to a supervisor. The woman who was sitting next to him was on the phone during this exchange got off the phone to say that there were four people ahead of me and this will probably take about 30 minutes. I thanked her for answering my question and told the gentleman that he needs to get some training on customer service. I also said I wanted his name so that I can report him to his supervisors. Remarkably, his attitude improved after that. I do not recommend this location which is very difficult to find and obviously staffed by incredibly rude people.

The lady who drew my son blood Athena was so rude to me and my 4 year old so. It was so scary I felt very uncomfortable For my four-year-old son getting blood drawn from him. It wasn’t even that it messed up it was that after the needle fell out all she kept saying was mmmmm mmmm mmmmm. Super ghetto.SMH never again feel comfortable coming to this labcorp again.

This place could put #LabCorp in some serious trouble. The mistreatment and attitude from the receptionists is beyond bounds. I usually make elaborate and fair reviews about service providers but I dont think I would have the right words for this place. I can just say TOTALLY BAD...PLEASE DONT GO. I even dont know how LabCorp could leave this place unchecked with people showing total disappointments of this level. Neither do I know why employers want to send their prospective employees and help develop a bad first impression?Q. How Could a business survive when 90% of its customers are completely disappointed by its service?

Do not go there at all cost.The lady at the front desk is extremely rude.I arrived 20 mins early checked-in in their system like they instructed me to do. I got inside when it was the time of my appointment that I scheduled it a week earlier. The lady at the front desk told me there will be at least an hour wait and when I asked what is the point of making an appointment. She snapped and told me they are backed up and told me to leave the place and wait outside for an HOUR OR MORE.I left at this point and wrote this review horrible services.

Don’t even bother making an appointment. Thought I would be good to go with my appointment time and arriving early, but NOPE. I arrived 15 min before my appointment, checked in on my phone, immediately got a text that a technician was available to see me, so I went in, the front desk lady took my order, and told me to wait outside. I waited outside for an hour before being told by another customer that their system was down and they had no idea when it would be back up. If your system is down, and you cannot perform any services, why did they not inform the families waiting outside?? How long had the system been down before the other customer told me? So in all, I waited an hour past my appointment time, and still didn’t get the test done. I have an appointment tomorrow morning at another location, which will hopefully be better, but I have my doubts.

If you live within an hour of any other LabCorp I suggest you go there and avoid this one at all costs.You walk in the lobby and they don’t even speak to you, just tell you to sign in on an iPad, and wait outside for a text message. Well their text message system doesn’t work, multiple people had their registration on the iPad not work, you come in to talk to someone and they just yell at you that no one is allowed inside. This is the worst possible way to run a business. Most people are vaccinated and everyone is wearing a mask, you’re behind a plexiglass screen, you can speak to customers and tell them what’s going on.

Thank you Alexandria LabCorp for making my infertility journey that much more difficult for me. If anyone has to go get blood work done, I recommend NOT going to LabCorp on Duke Street in Alexandria. I fasted all day just for them to cancel my appointment TWICE then watch them lock their door and say they were done for the day. In depth, they had people waiting outside in the heat to be called back into the building. The lab man was opening the door and calling patients inside. My husband and I both received texts that we would be called in soon. Then, my husband received a call from the receptionist stating that they have texted him four times for his appointment. How are patients supposed to know what to do when the staff is inconsistent? So, we go back inside and the receptionist tells my husband that they cancelled my appointment and I need to sign back in. Why didnt they call me like they called my husband? Next, I am told that I have to give a urine sample before I am able to get my blood drawn. The only door for the bathroom to be behind in the office is a code locked door. So, Im sitting there waiting for a doctor to call me back behind those doors, so that I can pee in a cup. An employee calls me back, and the receptionist says she cant go back yet, she has to give a urine sample I ask her where the bathroom is and they finally let me back behind the doors. If you know I need to give a urine sample, why wouldnt you show me where the bathrooms are? I gave them a small sample and was told to sit in a chair to wait to be called back to the blood drawing area. I waited and then the LabCorp receptionist locks the door so all the other people waiting outside for their appointment could not enter the building. When I asked if I was still going to be able to have my blood drawn, they said I wasnt called back because there was not any urine in the cup. There was urine in the cup, but no one ever told me that I had to redo my sample because it wasnt enough for them. Secondly, I am on Day 3 of my period. The last day I could have my blood taken for this month. Therefore, Im obviously not pregnant so I dont understand why I would even need to pee in the cup to give them a blood vile. There were no apologies for their lack of communication or organization. It was truly unbelievable. And I never got my blood work taken. I hope everyones infertility testing goes smoothly and that they get staff who actually care about them. It would kill the employees at this facility to even smile at anyone.

The front desk staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. I checked in via the kiosk and took a seat. The lady came out from behind the desk and asked me if i had received a text, i said i had not. She said “then you need to go wait outside” after waiting outside for an hour i received a text and went in. They then said i needed my paper order which i did not have so they stated they couldn’t help me. It would have been nice if that was mentioned at the beginning instead of making me wait an entire hour. Today i went to the Arlington location where the front desk staff was very helpful and efficient. I will never use this location again. The staff needs better professionalism

Worst location to go to! Run! DO NOT GO!!! I TRIED, ASECOND TIME BUT NO.. The staff made us wait for over an hour even after we showed up 15 minutes before my appt. Time. After asking the receptionist she said they didnt have my number to let me know it was my turn(after they checked me in and told me to go wait outside) I was sitting outside, right in front of the door and noone from the clinic came out to get me. The technician had an attitude with my son and I when doing the lab!!!! The first time I came to get some lab done for myself the same thing happened the wait time was so long!!! My experience at this location was extremely poor and I would recommend you go elsewhere for lab work. I waited for over an hour and a half with no help. Their fax machine was not working and could not receive the lab order from my doctor. They refused to accept a signed and emailed copy of my lab order sent securely by my doctor despite their fax machine not working. I called the supervisor, Karina, who said she would look into it and then did not call me back. They left me with no options to provide them my lab report short of going to a printer and paying to print it off myself from my email (despite them saying that they would not accept an email from my doctor). I had to leave after an hour and a half without getting my labs done. Other patients in the waiting room also waited over an hour after checking in and also had problems. It appears that the supervisor also oversees other LabCorp locations in Northern Virginia. LabCorp should be ashamed for their poor organization and treatment of patients.

Worst Experience.They attend 2 People at the Same Time on this SMALL ROOMS so 2 lab technician and 2 customers in those small rooms is kind of SCARY . and I didnt see anybody cleaning or sanitize the chairs after each costumer even is a sign on the wall.at least in Lab Corp Springfield are bigger rooms and one customer at the time.

Go to any other lab Corp, always had good luck at others but tried this one because it’s really close to my work and it’s miserable, 3 times in a row same treatment. The staff did an excellent job while trying to manage a lot of customers, several of whom seemed unaware of social distancing rules and even just basic self awareness. I appreciate the staff’s expertise in drawing blood and in running a tight ship in order to keep all of its customers safe during this pandemic. My technician in particular was moving back and forth between drawing blood and enforcing social distancing guidelines. She is a rock star.

If there is a no star, this would be the rating of this location. We arrived at 7:55 AM on Saturday. There was a line and I was the 5th person. The lady opened the door at 8 AM and we were asked to check-in on the kiosk. I did complete the check-in for my wife, who is a nursing mother. After that, I was asked to wait a text message. The person who checked in after me, received the text and I did not. I talked to the lady, and she rudely said Are you sure you are before him? I said : Yes. She did not take the time to fix the situation and I did not receive any text. She asked me after 15 minutes of waiting to do the process again! I asked my wife to switch with me and I will take care of our 5-month son. Later on, the rude lady did the check in herself while my wife was standing. Then my wife was inside and they threatened her to call the police if she does not step outside!!!!!!!!!!!! It was raining and there was a problem in their kiosk and they did not have the human decency to fix this trouble. I called my wife after another 15 min of waiting for a text message and asked her to leave. I stepped in one more time and said: I will call the corporate. I left and there were two police officers who just arrived. I was already in the car. I parked in another spot and walked toward the police officer and said sir excuse me. I am the guy who they call the police for. I explained the whole situation and he was very understanding. He said: There is no case at all. I left and I have a sore feeling in my heart because my wife did not have her lab done. I will not stop at this review, I will escalate this to the CEO of LabCorp. This place should be a medical facility, people who run it does not know anything about medicine.

I came this morning for blood work, I was very cheerful given the fact that I’m getting blood taking from me. The First Lady who was was sooo rude for no apparente reason she did not verify my information before sticking me with a huge needle she did not find my vain before sticking the needle in my arm she used a huge needle and when I said that I’m in pain she left the room without telling and sent me another person who I’m so thankful for because he is so professional he knows what his doing and very polite and friendly. I suggest if you do come here please ask for AXAL other wise you will have a horrible experience and a painful one.Just an FYI I spoke to the manager when I was leaving she did not seem to care.

Being a self pay patient, I wasnt thrilled with paying INOVA $100 for blood work. This location had me in & out within 10 min for $30. Facility was clean, everyone was very nice & helpful. Stick was quick & easy. Will definitely be back.

The location is difficult to find, but Ive updated the location on the map. You actually need to look for Landmark Dental & turn down that street (it runs along the backside of townhouses by a fence) , not the United Bank parking lot. Its in Unit 10 in the facility. Also, you could search Adiam Salon and Spa (which is right next door) & it will give you better directions.Also, make an appointment online before you go. Ive also taken a pic of their hours.

This review is for miss Michelle Ellis and her welp coming and helping team at this location . I am a care aid for a patient with ms with limited mobility and also a port (shes a hard stick) miss Ellis personally took her time to tell us that lab Corp does not draw from ports but to give her a chance and she will take care of us . ( we had went to Georgetown hospital the previous week for blood work and werent able to get any blood) . Miss Ellis was very patient and was 100% right . She was able to take every test tube needed . Everything was easy from the mobile check in to getting the blood work done ! We will always come to this location and see miss Ellis ! No more having to worry about port and flushing .

I was a walk-in today at LabCorp. They have kiosks you sign into, and are currently having you wait in your vehicle until they are ready to take you back. The receptionist and phlebotomist were both extremely friendly. The wait wasnt long at all, and they got people through quickly. There was an extremely belligerent customer in the waiting area, and the staff handled his poor behavior extremely well. The situation could gave escalated quickly, but they acted professionally and made sure everyone there felt safe. We all know we are in a pandemic - everyone needs to do their best to keep others in the waiting area safe. I would highly recommend this location.

LabCorp is the worst. I need a drug test, and called twice to confirm they offered the type of test I needed. They won’t let you schedule over a phone so I scheduled online for a Saturday. Upon arriving I was told by an extremely rude nurse that LabCorp doesn’t do drug testing on Saturdays. At no time during the online booking process or when I called was I told this was the case. Thank god I could fine an alternative, MegaLab, which accepted Saturday walk ins. I will never use LabCorp again.

Stay away from this place. I gave them a doctors order for a set of blood tests. A week later I learned that they did not even perform several of the tests listed on the doctors order. So I was informed that I have to go back (in the middle of a pandemic) and get my blood drawn AGAIN. Due only to the incompetence of the person who drew my blood, who apparently could not be bothered to carefully read my doctors order. And theres no way for that person to be held accountable for their mistake, despite the fact that I have to miss even more work to go back for a second, completely unnecessary blood-drawing. Simply shameful. Avoid Labcorp entirely if you possibly can.

I arrived at 11am, signed in and sat down to wait. I wore a mask and sanitized my hands. There was one other woman in the office waiting, sitting 10 feet away, also wearing a mask.The attendant at the desk told me I had to wait outside. It was 90 degrees outside and full sun. I told her it was hot and I didnt have anywhere comfortable to wait. She told me I still had to wait outside and they would call me when they were ready for me.I tried to wait, but it was too hot, so I left. I got a call that they were ready for me at 12:10pm. They expected me to wait over an hour in the heat. It was unreasonable, unsafe and rude. Will definitely not return.

The lady at the check is very rude to anyone . It’s noticeable the lack of education and that fact that she hate her Job . I hope that they can do something about that . I saw many patients feeling so uncomfortable about her attitude . The HR needs to hire professional staff . So sad labcorp name is affect my people like this . I was in and out within 45 minutes. Sign in was very easy, chairs were distanced in response to COVID. The receptionist was incredibly kind, and the person drawing blood for my labs was very patient. She could tell I was nervous, and she kept me informed on how many vials were left to fill all while continuously asking me if I was okay. I cant imagine what it is like to work in this profession during a pandemic, but I cannot thank the staff enough for being so kind to me today.

The WORST experience I have ever had in laboratory.I brought my 2 years old daughter to give blood sample.We had lab technical who appeared to be TOTALLY INCOMPETENT. She tried to draw blood from one hands then the other. She was not able to do by herself and she asked other tech.Both were maneuvering needle in her arm for at least 10 min without being able to draw blood. I would’t wish this kind of experience even for an adult and certainly not for 2 years old.If you have any choice, take your business elsewhere!!!

I was dreading getting routine bloodwork done, however, the staff made the experience easy and stress free. Michelle is very helpful and provides excellent customer service. Axel is a great phlebotomist. He brought me an ice pack in advance of the blood draw when I told him I am prone to fainting. He found the right vein on the first try and I felt fine afterwards. No one likes going to get labwork, but in my experience if you are respectful to the staff they will be kind to you.

One of the best LabCorp locations Ive ever been to. Needed blood drawn on 5-14-19 and made an online reservation and a scan code was sent to my phone. Went to the Duke Street Alexandria location, walked in and scanned the code at the Express terminal (they had 3) and sat down. Within 3 minutes I was called to the reception desk to present the doctors order. Within 5 minutes I was called into the back and had blood drawn.The staff were pleasant and the waiting area had a updated and clean look. The best experience Ive had at any LabCorp location. They should all be like this.

**NEW STAFF** We scheduled our appointment online a few days prior for 8.30AM which was super easy and made check in a breeze. The day of, we arrived at the office at 8.20AM, were seen at 8.30AM and left by 8.45AM.The waiting room is simple, but clean. The receptionist and nurses were very friendly and efficient despite being so early in the morning! Both of us arent a huge fan of needles, so the nurse talked with us about our upcoming Holiday travel plans to keep our minds off of the procedure (which was quick).We told them about our original hesitation after seeing the 1 Star Reviews online. They let us know every person we saw was new to the office; it seems they wiped out the old staff and replaced them with these very friendly and funny ladies!Tips:* Make an Appointment! (There were several other walk-ins that arrived before us that were still waiting after we finished. Check in was fast and I was called in a min. I paid and got seen in 40 mins and it was crowded when I came in, so they were trying their best to be fast. Overall, Im satisfied.My only suggestion is to make a bigger sign thats more visible so its easier to find it.

Visited 4 Mar 2016. Had appointment for 1300 (I read somewhere that if you arent required to fast prior to your lab work it is better to go in the afternoon as it is not as busy), arrived at 1245, there was one person in the waiting room. Signed in and sat down - the receptionist (Eva) was in the back. Five minutes later she came out, called my name and took the information she needed. She was very cordial and engaging. A few minutes after my appointment time Sarah the technician called me back. She was polite and very professional. By 1310 I was walking out of the office.Overall: polite, professional and efficient. I have used this location before without issue and will continue to do so. It is not too far off of I-395 and relatively easy to get to. The only reason I didnt give it a five is the parking can be a challenge when it is busy.

I have checked in 1:00pm for employment drug test , they said I have to wait in my car to send me text message and with in 5 minutes I get a text .In the reception area there was only one person waiting with me but they kept me waiting for 1hour . Finally I couldnt take it no more ...👿. bad service client need to know the approximate time he / she is going to wait. The test took only two minutes. Funny I had to wait 1hr for a test that need only 2 minutes..

Went today and I must say Ms. Florence (Mama Flo)was amazing with the children. We had a misunderstanding at first that was my fault started talking to Mama Flo and realized I took what she was saying the wrong way. She is an absolute dream. Very kind hearted and very knowledgeable at what she does. The kids and I was very impressed. Thank Ms Florence!

I frequently take my elder parents to the Duke St. Alexandria, VA office. The staff is very professional, efficient and pleasant. Our waiting time is usually 5 mins. or less. Shout out to Alexis that usually draws blood from my father wich is very difficult. Keep up the good work, we love this place!!

Worse lab I’ve ever been to. The lady at the front desk was super rude and unprofessional, she sat there and argued with me over an unpaid balance. Very bad body language, and was rude to other customers before me. Did not treat me like a customer, and she also turned me away and refused services to me. I hope no one ever gets treated like I was. I will never go to this lab again! I do not recommend anyone to go there.

I didn’t find anything wrong with the service at this location. Once you go in, there are three kiosks to check in. Check in, be seated and wait for your name to be called. I was seen within 15 minutes without an appointment. They will try to fit you in around people who have made appointments. Don’t go in expecting to be treated with impeccable service like it’s Chic-fil-A. However, I didn’t find the staff to be rude at all.

Worst lab experience ever. The women at the front called my first name and I went up to the window. She did not greet me or ask any questions to verify who I am. She took my insurance and ID card, then my credit card after explaining that it would be automatically charged the balance after insurance was processed. She then proceeded to charge $225 to my card accidentally! It has been a week and the refund she supposedly processed has not shown up on my bank statement yet. When I called, I was rudely referred to a 1-800 number to resolve the issue and have been on hold for 14 minutes and counting. In addition to accidentally charging, and then improperly refunding me, it turns out that she was entering all of my info into another persons chart! I was taken to the back and already had the tourniquet on when she rushed to the back and told me to go back to the waiting room. I then had to give her all of my info AGAIN and get taken to the back a second time before my blood was finally drawn. Who knows if she properly deleted my info from the other persons chart... I am never going back.

Make an appointment is my biggest recommendation. Do not expect fast or friendly service as well. You feel like a number when you walk in. Greeters are not friendly or welcoming at all. Obviously this is a business and probably one of the largest in the area but at least treat the people coming like customers....not cattle!

The attention in this office is terrible, I was almost 2 hours waiting for them to attend to my 12 month old baby and they never called us, I had to retire since I needed to feed my baby, but just like I saw many people retire for Long wait, an elderly couple, adults and even another mother with children. In no way do I recommend this labcorp office.

Today all the electronic check in stations are down. The waiting room is full. When there is someone at the reception area she doesn’t make eye contact. Not a pleasant place. Feels run down. It is the only lab I am able to use with my health insurance.

Crowded and rushed, had to remind the staff of what I was getting multiple times before it was done, was told that what my doctor ordered wasnt necessary and that the doctor was wrong on what they ordered. Person taking my sample couldnt talk clearly, they mumbled through everything and I maybe got five words out of them. Im not confident that my samples will even be properly processed based on how unorganized everything was. Front desk was nice though.

This labs few employees that didn’t act like professional instead show up there bad attitudes. It my 3rd time for my kids regular led test and I had 2 bad experience including today. The professional who takes my child blood she wasn’t friendly at all to treat when my son was scared because of the proses. But I do appreciate the front desk for their customer service.

If I could give it 0 I would ! I was there before they opened 4th to walk in at 7am. By 830 there was 10 people with appointments that went in front of me. U was there to blow in a bag ! Thats it 2 seconds and done. I know on there website it says walk in welcome. But at least have the decency to put under it that you will be waiting 3 hours for people that scheduled appointments ! It should be first come first serve. Or appointments only. Its not fair to say walk in welcome when 30 people can go in front of u !

Rude staff, system lacks privacy, and their technology was unreliable. I registered at the kiosk as instructed but they called several others before me. The person at the desk acknowledged they had skipped me but did not even apologize. The staff members were yelling at patients and each other. Another patient was ushered into the draw room before I had left.

I normally try to find the good in every situation but there is NOT one good thing to say about this place! They need to shut it down. Seriously... the people are getting paid for nothing! People who work there are mostly fine but can be a bit blunt. I did not find them as rude as others. But it is just very very slow - even for a simple drop off. There used to be a system where you check a box when signing in to show you are dropping off and it was faster. But now they dont do that and you can sit for over an hour or more just to drop something off that should take 1 min or less!! Their system is clearly broken.

Avoid this place and go somewhere else if you want your test results to be done professionally !!!!My child had to make blood tests. The first time I was charged for two tests and just one had been performed, not the most important one. I waisted my time going to the doctors office because he couldn’t do anything without the test results. Second time they just performed another lab test not the one the doctor asked. For the second time, my child won’t see the doctor because there is no results for the lab test he asked. What kind of lab is that??! Honestly this is ridiculous. I’ve never seen that in my life before even in the third world countries where I travel. Don’t go there. I’m sure they are messing the patients blood collections there.

I have such a fear of needles that I’ve put off getting my blood drawn since my doctor gave me the Labcorp order in February. After 4 months, I caved & went in today. They are upgrading the check in system, which was very very easy to complete. The person drawing my blood was kind, efficient, and gentle. Although I will likely dread having blood drawn forever, I won’t hesitate to go back to this location when needed.

The black women taking insurance information here is clearly a racist, non blacks stay away from this place. Not only that if you have an appointment scheduled be ready to wait for more than an hour and you have to deal with the lying racist receptionist telling you itll be another five minutes. They expect you to be courteous to them but they will treat you like dirt. GO ELSEWHERE, if you dont mind waiting for over an hour after scheduling an appointment. If you plan on walking be ready to be there for half the day.
