This was my first visit to Dr Candelaria!HIGHEST RECCOMENDATIONS POSSIBLE!Pandemic protocols are active here! I had to call from the door before entering the office. The staff was amazing and took all necessary safety precautions!I was in need of a tooth extraction, and I was delighted and so grateful that Dr Candelaria listened to me when I shared that I am very sensitive to the numbing effects of the injections. He adjusted the amount for me! Dr Candelaria took the time to address my concerns and even added a special protocol for me!I asked if it was ok if I applied essential oils to myself, to make sure the staff would not be offended by the aromas. Dr Candelaria is familiar with the same brand of essential oils I use, so I was able to apply the oils topically to my head, neck and chest and leave the open roll-on between my breasts during the procedure to reduce my anxiety. Made a huge difference for my emotional health!Much to my delight Dr Candelaria also added a special essential oil protocol after my extraction, which I know helped decrease residual pain and inflammation!I have had a few extractions in recent years, due to some injuries. I must say this was easiest and gentlest extraction I have ever experienced! 24 hours later, the only slight discomfort at the injection sites! Very impressed with the whole procedure!

I would highly recommend Dr Candelaria for your oral surgery procedures. I was referred to him from my dentist after expressing interest in replacing an extracted tooth. The dental implant procedure went smoothly and painlessly and I appreciated Dr Candelaria’s knowledge, skill and professionalism during the entire procedure.

Dr. Candalaria is the best surgeon in New Mexico. He has taken me under his wing since day one and performed great work on my face. He has been there for me all throughout the process of having a cleft palate and has set me up with the best doctors in Albuquerque. Still to this day I can call him or his staff when I need something and they have always been there for me. He’s very trustworthy and my family and I truly love him.

I have been to Dr. Candelaria twice. Both times for IV sedation and to pull teeth. During my initial consultation, he identified a problem I had that all of my previous dentists did not believe existed. He knows his stuff. This becomes evident when he performs surgery. Both my visits were great; no pain or issues afterwards.

Took my son for a (consultation) for wisdom teeth removal. We wanted a second opinion from a visit we previously had with another business. To my surprise I was charged $75 dollars for a 5 minute consultation. I didnt expect that. Other places are FREE consultations. Their quote was about $300 more than another place we visited. Wont be coming back. Also, the woman in billing is very rude and talks to me with attitude.

I was referred to this office by my general dentist, who was seeking a second opinion on one of my teeth. My interactions with the front desk staff, the assistants conducting my x-rays, and Dr. Candelaria were all great. Dr. C thoroughly explained my diagnosis and prognosis and provided conservative treatment options. Im actually going back to see him for 6 month follow up this month.I did have to make one follow up call regarding a bill adjustment and that went well too; the adjustment was made right away.4/5 stars just because Ive had more dental care than the average person and have experienced some truly 5 star offices, its tough to compare!

Not the greatest experience here. Unprofessional and rude. Clearly talking about patients amongst themselves - loud enough for me to hear every word! Going in pain and nearly out of my mind, youd think the staff would be more pleasant and sympathetic.

I called Dr. Lionels office to set up an appointment, and a lady named, CYNTHIA answered the phone.I could see she was not having a nice day since the moment she picked up the phone. (and I guess decided to take it out on me.)Cynthia pretty much refused to pencil me in since I could not remember my dentist full name. (I guess the referral source is more important than getting new business ) and after telling her 3 times that I did not remember my dentists full name she told me to try another office.I usually dont write reviews unless I think its worth for other people to know what type of service most likely they will get.DR. LIONEL - your staff is taking money away from your business. Please ensure they are properly trained if they are going to be handling calls and providing Customer Service.You can always record phone calls for customer service purposes.

I had a large mandibular surgery 4 years ago. I was pleased, expensive were exactly as they were estimated. I received a great treatment from the doctor, very professional. After 4 years there are no marks on my face, I have no pain and all is perfect. This was not an esoteric surgery!The doctor told me I could go back any time, for the same problem, at no charges. I went 2 times 1 year after the surgery, just for a check up, and I was not charged at all (not even the co pay for the insurance).

I am so thankful with the staff and my doctor he was the best he was always asking if I was doing fine and the nurses where really nice as well always taking care of me Great staff I’ll definitely come back here I recommend this place.

Very rude doctors they dont even treat you like a person. Your just another face to them i wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

I dont t normally write reviews but I called to schedule getting my wisdom teeth out and the receptionist was very rude and unhelpful. After asking what my insurance was she told me she didnt take it and when I asked what places might she said she didnt know and hung up.
