My experience with Dr. David Babington was outstanding! He was extremely skillful and proficient throughout my eye exam, providing expert analysis and options that resulted in my perfect new eyeglasses – so great to see so clearly and sharply again. He was also very personable and a good listener. His Apple Tree Optical salon offered a tremendous selection of frames in different materials, sizes, colors and shapes – and I got the best frames I ever had within a few weeks. It was a fantastic experience, and I expect to keep going there. I absolutely highly recommend Dr. Babington and his very friendly and professional staff.

So Im not sure what the deal is with our kids and them getting horrible things in their eyes but they certainly seem to have a knack for it! This time it was our son, a few years back it was our daughter. We also left a review for Dr. Babington back when he helped us with our daughter. And this time he helped us again with our son. My husband and I really have no words to described how awesome this man is. This time our 7yr old son got a spec of metal embedded in his cornea - how??? Not only that but it had been in there so long that it had started to rust?? Say what??? What is it with our kids and their eyes? Seriously, someone please tell me! Immediately after I noticed this weird spot on my sons eye we took him to urgent care - they were unable to help him. They referred us to an eye specialist. I immediately thought of Dr. Babington as he had helped us with our daughter way back when. So I called him. He immediately answered his phone. He said he would meet us at his clinic within the hour. I feel its worth mentioning that this was on a Friday at 8pm. Yeah, really. I truly believe you cant understand this mans love for his job, his dedication, or his utmost care for his patients until you experience it first hand. Please name another doctor that answers their personal cell and meets with patients at 8pm on a Friday and then greets you with nothing but smiles. This man is a gem. Needless to say he took care of the problem with my sons eye and hes all better now. And I just want to make one thing clear, we are not related to Dr. Babington in any way. Were not close personal friends (although wed love to be!), we dont hang out together, nothing like that. Our kids are just ordinary patients that he had only seen once before a few years ago. Yet he treated us like were family. What doctor runs medical practices like that any more?? If youre looking for an eye care specialist look no further - youll never find anyone better. Changed insurance and had to change optometrist offices. Went here for the first time in April 2020. Its October and Im still waiting for contact lenses. Had to go back for an eyeglass prescription because the first one was illegible. I wouldnt recommend these guys as its been a pretty unprofessional experience.

I am new to Alb. I never thought I would find an Optometrist like Dr F in Las Cruces since his passing I have struggled to find a good Doctor my Girls and I have been with a cloudly world until we found Babington & Babington they are GREAT, WONDERFUL & Care about the patients. They explain everything to you and dont get upset with questions & take their time with you. I strongly recommend Babington & Babington.

Dr. Babington is fat and away the best optometrist Ive ever had. Hes cared for my eyeballs through different kinds of contacts and many pairs of glasses as well as through a few allergy seasons. Hes the best!

I havent ever actually had Dr Babington for an optometrist but I wanted to leave a review of an AMAZING experience that I just had with him. Our 18mo old daughter got some kind of foreign object in her right eye at a park on a Saturday. We dont know what it was or how it happened, but it was something severe and very painful. She was inconsolable and was in significant pain for several hours. She also refused to open her right eye at all for nearly 8hrs. We took her to after hours urgent care and they diagnosed her with a minor corneal abrasion and prescribed antibiotic drops. My wife and I were quite scared and and extremely stressed that her cornea was damaged and we really wanted the opinion of an eye specialist to make sure that there was nothing else we could do. The only after hours emergency eye care that we could find in all of Abq and Rio Rancho was Dr Babington. So I called the after hours emergency number at about 9pm that night (again, this is on a _Saturday_) and there wasnt an immediate answer but I left a voicemail describing the situation. I will be honest, I did not expect to ever get a call back. But to our absolute astonishment we got a call back within 15min and it was Dr Babington himself (yeah, really) and he actually apologized for not immediately answering when I first called because he didnt hear the phone ring - say what?? (A doctor who I never met and has no idea who I am is apologizing for not answering a random call on a Saturday night at 9pm?? Really? Haha. Crazy cool!! Who is this guy???) Anyway, he asked a lot of questions about the injury and gave us a lot of awesome feedback and really put both myself and my wife at ease and we were no longer stressed about our daughter. He even offered to go to his office that night and examine her (yeah, really) but he didnt think it was really necessary (and I agreed after he explained more about the eye and what the injury was).We are so impressed with Dr Babington that my wife and I are kind of speechless about this guy. He is seriously too awesome. Thank you so much for helping us Dr. Babington!!!!!! Our daughter is doing much better now. While Dr Babington is not currently our optometrist my wife and I are going to look into changing that in the very near future!!

Dr David Babington is fantastic... from eye care to their Optical Shop... you feel part of the family!
