Appointment was at 2:30 and wasn’t seen until after 4:00. Paid the $150 consultation fee and was then hit with $950 for the procedure. Even though all the paperwork you fill out has insurance information they don’t accept it. Waste of time + money!

I would highly recommend Dr. Brad and this practice to anyone in need of wisdom teeth extraction surgery. I had experienced some sudden, severe pain caused by my impacted wisdom teeth. I was originally referred to a different clinic by a dentist in Albany, but when I called this other clinic, they told me that the earliest consultation appointment that they had for me was on a date that was literally MONTHS away. I explained that I was in severe pain, but they just put my name down on a waiting list and told me they would call me if any earlier appointments opened.I am SO happy that I then did a quick google search on oral surgeons in Albany, GA. I saw Southwest Oral pop up, and I thought eh, why not call and see if they are available earlier? Good choice on my part, because the staff on the phone were extremely nice and helpful, saying that since I was in pain, they would move around their schedule so that they could see me that very next day! The next day I come in for my consultation; the staff were very efficient and friendly. Dr. Brad came in and told me that he would personally move around his own schedule so that he could fit me in the very next day for the extraction surgery! I couldn’t believe it, I was thinking I would have to wait months and remain in pain before anything could be done. Day of the surgery, everything went totally great. Was put to sleep and don’t remember anything of the procedure, just remember waking up and being taken care of in a very kind way by the staff. I’m so thankful that I found this practice, they were so awesome in helping me get my painful teeth removed ASAP. I would recommend this practice over any of the other ones in Albany GA to those looking for an oral surgeon!!

I have suffered with autoimmune disease, Sjogrens syndrome, for the past 20 years. In time, my teeth have gotten brittle and full of fractures and various hopeless attempts to keep them. My dentist sent me to Dr. Harris for much needed implants. Dr. Harris gave such a reassuring feeling and so compassionate....willing to listen and hear his patients. I felt the entire visit and following surgery was handled professionally, expertly, and with true dedication to this process. As for fees, he and staff explained this fully so there were no surprises. I truly recommend Dr. Harris and his staff.

There are few words to describe how exceptional of an experience Dr. Brad & his practice provided to me during a truly traumatic accident. The worst time to be injured in an accident is whenever you are out of state. Sure enough, that’s what happened to me. After falling off of a longboard at 25+ mph, almost losing my life, having chunks of asphalt removed from my face in an unfamiliar E.R., & having more than 20 stiches to my good looking face, the least desirable though on the planet was driving 8 hours home & going in to surgery the next morning.Whenever Dr. Brad’s office answered the phone, they made everything simple during a time of panic. They were upfront about pricing, the process, & worked to get me an appt. as soon as I made it back to town. If you didn’t already know, fixing a fractured Mandible (jaw) is no easy task. However, Dr. Brad made it seem as though he could do this procedure blindfolded. You’ll never meet a more cheerful, kind, & empathetic surgeon. Once I informed Dr. Brad that my birthday was only 6 weeks away & I wasn’t keen on looking like a recovering murder victim, he assured me that I would be fully recovered with plenty of time to spare & that his procedure would leave to marks.Dr. Brad knows his stuff!! Due to my extensive injury, my jaw was required to be sewed shut for a month. Yes, you read that right. There’s was little to nothing that I could eat, other than protein shakes. However, as soon as the jaw was un-sewn, everything was BRAND NEW. Soon, I forgot that I ever even had surgery.EVERY SINGLE PENNY THAT YOU PAY FOR DR. BRAD’S SERVICES ARE 150% WORTH IT!Thanks Dr. Brad, you are the man!!-Joseph

I had 4 wisdom teeth removed at one time. Everything went great as far as surgery and follow up visits to check on healing progress. My biggest complaint is what they are charging. I have dental insurance but I had to pay $150 up from for the consult which includes an x-ray. They were supposed to have checked my insurance and they told me my part was $770 which I also had to pay before surgery (day of I believe). So after that and my insurance pays they bill me for $300 more. So they need to do better about checking insurance because I found out afterwards I could have had this done elsewhere in town and my health insurance would have paid it 100% (so check your own insurance b/c they are here to make money not help you get a better deal).

First of all, I came in as an emergency. All of my insurance is accepted by this dentist however apparently its for only the well to do. This practice expects all payment up front, bills insurance later and they take the 150$ consultation fee to get you to the back and tell their patients this. Needless to say there will be a stop payment on the check. I have roots stuck in my jaw and a bad tooth in the back. I have pus coming out of my ear and nose and Dr. Harris says he can give a few pain pills...I DONT WANT PAIN PILLS. I NEED AN ORAL SURGEON AND SURGERY TO FIX THIS. PREFERABLY BY A SURGEON THAT ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT PEOPLE OVER THEIR WALLETS!

I am very grateful that they waived the 150 consultation fee considering they are the only maxillofacial surgery place in albany ga, and didnt take my insurance, however, under the circumstances of being out of state and not wanting to drive 890 miles home to my doctor at the time, the Dr. was rude with the presentation of why do people think this should be free??? with a nurse in the room snarling and laughing, it was extremely unethical and demeaning!!! I understand it shouldnt be free and you have to make a living, but to charge me 150 to tell me my face isnt broken bc you dont take my insurance and bc I didnt want to be driving back to Oklahoma with my 7 month old and 20 month old after what happen is a little distasteful.
