I would like to thank Brandy and her team at Palmyra Nursing Home in Albany. They make sure that I am able to promptly connect to visit with my grandmother through video chat (who is 104). I greatly appreciate all they do as I am out of state. This team really goes the extra mile. In addition, the nurses and assistance make sure that my grandmother is always nicely dress and take great care of her. You dont know what a relief it is to know that she is in good hands because Im out of state. Thank, Thank , and Thank you for the excellent care provide to my Grandma.

My mother has been at Pruitt Health Palmyra since 2014 and I have no complaints. She loves it and calls it her home. Thanks to all the staff for taking such great care of her and for keeping me informed of everything that happens to her, even if it is just a scratch that needs a band-aid.

I did not go in, my mother was visiting with someone. It looks like a nice place from the outside.

I want to thank all the staff members for taking excellent care of my mother. She brags about the great care that she receives from the Pruitt Health (Nursing Home Facility). The Video Chats are a great addition during COVID-19. I am thankful for these chats, they allow me to visit although I’m far away.

Im so thankful for the help my husband received at Pruitt health care they are like family members and friends who care so much for the patients who live there Im definitely grateful for selecting Pruitt health care for my husband best choice ever and I think you all from the bottom of my heart

I would NEVER recommend this facility for someone you disliked, much less a loved one. The facility looks dirty and always smells extremely bad. It doesnt seem that the residents are kept clean, or that accidents are taken care of in a timely manner. If anything, the place should smell like disinfectant and cleaning products, but that isnt the case. Instead it constantly smells of urine, feces and other foul odors. They also do not pay enough attention to what the residents are doing, even when they are placed in special areas specifically because they require more care or attention. While my husbands aunt was there, she was moved to one of the closely monitored areas. When we visited one afternoon, we found her sitting in the day room, where there were several other residents (male and female) sitting as well, with no clothing above her waist. She was sitting in full view of about 5 staff members (nurses, etc) who were standing at the nurses station, which was at one end of the room. For the short period of time she was a resident there, all of the people we interacted with seemed friendly and helpful. However, their interactions with my husband and I when we were there didnt change the perception of how his aunt was being treated when we werent there.

This nursing facility provides great care, the nurses are attentive, and we were very satisfied with our family members stay here. I would recommend this facility to friends and family!

Terrible. My dad was here for only two days. Food is disgusting, no tv or phone (have to provide these yourself). Nurses were inattentive. Didnt check vitals like they should and claimed they did. Would let loved ones sit in soiled clothing all night. Building needs to be updated. Was as cold inside as it was outside.
