Does not answer phone calls. Does not return phone calls.Daughter went there once for a cleaning and x-rays. Previous dentist spotted the start of a cavity, but this dentist didnt report same findings to me. When we returned to her normal dentist 6 months later, the cavity was worse and needs to be filled. I need records forwarded from this office, but they dont answer the phone or return calls. Have been trying for a month.*Update, I finally got someone to answer the phone. Had a appointment in November 2020 for a cleaning, I got a text to reschedule to April 2021, which was fine cause I was busy but a cleaning is every 3 months, so I got my number changed at the end of April so I called no one answered, I called the next day left a message, explaining who I am and I changed my number, nothing, then I called again and they put me on hold for 10 minutes and then sent me to voice-mail, so Im trying to see who I can get in touch with about the problem because not only is this place for families but I have to go there cause of the insurance I have through my job that I pay for every week and I cant get a simple cleaning?! RIDICULOUS

Don’t waste your time with this place. Made an appointment in November for a May slot.. the day of the appointment the office was closed and said they called everyone but yet I didn’t get a call? They rescheduled me for two weeks after. I called the morning of to confirm.. they wouldn’t answer the phone so I drove there in person to confirm the appointment and they never had my son in their system. They said give us another week and we’ll call.. gave them the benefit of the doubt. No phone call. Went back again in person- now there is “no dentist” because no one wants to work.. yet there were patients in there! This may be true for minimum wage jobs or direct care but not the health care field. Just stay away

I have been a regular at this dentist for years. Even bringing my own child into practice for his first dentist. Sad to say well be switching. They dont answer phone calls, dont return phone calls after leaving multiple messages, and Ive showed up for appointments I was told I was scheduled for only to arrive and be told Im not in the system, we dont see anything or we called to let you know and so on. Very unfortunate because this was a nice place, but I think with staff changes and a dynamic workplace, things are extremely disorganized, unprofessional and just overall sloppy. Will be looking around for other kids dental offices ! Dont reccomend!!

This office was good the first couple times my kids went and now they never answer the phone and they never return your call after leaving messages.

They were the nicest and most efficient people in a dental office that Ive ever been to! The manager really helped me and my mom get in to see them as soon as possible because my mom was in pain. Shes very professional and a pleasure to work with! Getting Ex rays was a breeze and normally its the worst part for me, but the girl helping me was so kind and sweet! The guy cleaning my teeth was also very kind and patient! And if that wasnt enough the Dentist Himself was equally amazing and helpful! It honestly changed our minds about all the negative experiences weve had at doctors offices before. Thanks to all of you who helped me and my mom that day :)

This has happened several times and is super unprofessional.The one time I saw the Dr for and emergency he looked me over for not even 5 minutes and barely even listen to my conecern. This morning had an 8 o’clock appointment,Young lady introduces herself no problem assistant begins with blood pressure screening and numbing medication but wait why is she putting it on the left side instead of right side. Then enters the Dentist She never introduces herself and treats me like I’m a idiot and acts like I don’t know my left side from my right side. Very unhappy with the service I won’t be coming back.

I had the same experience with cancelled appointments and poor communication others are reporting on here. After a 3rd cancellation in a row I ended up speaking with a manager (beginning of March 2021). She was very nice (I wish I could remember her name) and explained to me she had been there about a month and was trying to fix things. She acknowledged the cancellation issues but stated that there was a dentist there whom they are no longer affiliated with for that reason. She was professional and wouldnt give a name, but I had seen Dr. Redmond before, I was constantly cancelled, and she is no longer there; so I think its safe to say she might have been the issue. She eventually sorted things out, got me in the next day and their new dentist had me fixed up in 15 minutes.I did not have a great experience with the front desk, I was being told I needed a crown when no clinician had said that, and other things. Ill let that go because I think that staff has probably been abused between COVID and dentists there who were not acting responsibly. They probably caught the brunt of the frustration.

Not everyone there is awful, but most seemed to be. Experienced a misdiagnosis from Dr. Redmond. Never have I had such an uncertain, insincere, and overall questionable experience as I did here. If they dont take their patients seriously, why take them seriously? Very let down at the care provided and disappointed by the lack of organization this establishment has to offer.

Im not sure who the dentist I had was when I went in for fillings today but she was nice, and patient. She kept telling me to stop pushing with my tongue which Im not even sure what that means because I was trying to keep my tongue relaxed . Only problem is it seems like theyre always getting rid of and/or hiring new dentists and/or nurses. In the past year or so I havent had the same dentist when I go in. Nice atmosphere in general.

Dental hygienist, Betty, was AMAZING! Made us feel comfortable and safe! (2/4/21 AM). But the appt confirmation never asked Covid questions, and entrance in front barely knew what questions to ask except if we had been out of state and I had to assert “and no Covid symptoms”...then in the back, in the chair, were the pertinent Covid questions. By end, we were waiting on the dentist to give X-ray discussion, and I had my son put on his masks. But then hygienist came 30 seconds later, saying dentist would be over shortly, so he then kept his masks off. 25 mins later we were still waiting for dentist. Turns out, the guy next to us, I watched come in 20-25 mins prior, was never asked the Covid questions on the phone or up front...and when hygienist began asking, it turned out that he answered “yes” to himself having been tested positive for Covid in the past 14 days, but he felt that shouldn’t matter since the appt was for his little girl. They asked him to leave and he was not happy about it! His face mask was one of those black, breathable, one layer mask that wasn’t even enclosed around his nose and I sat there listening to him talk for the 20-25 mins, with no curtains enclosing us and my son in the chair, unmasked and in the possible air flow of the man. DOH told us to stay masked at home and be tested in a few days. Not happy about this AT ALL, since I specifically didn’t want to bring my son to our normal dentist because the assistant dentist never wears his mask correctly (we’ve had complicated dental issues, so after 4-5 times seeing that consistently made me feel unsafe and changed to have my son come to where I had hoped it would be safer)! The hygienist DID do a wonderful job, and wore he left masks perfectly and made us feel safe. It’s the entrance and lack of proper Covid screening questions that has now put us at risk and my reason for a lower rating.

One star for the detail assistant for being nice and kind for my sons first time. I would NOT recommend for anyone to go there. Reason one they change their mind with doctors telling you one thing then a completely different thing the next visit just because you had to have a family member present on youre behalf along with the fact of pushing extra procedures that where not talked about or recommend the FIRST visit only 2 weeks before the second ... then the assitansts and doctors being rude for asking questions and dont double check the paper work to see family member is on the papers for youre behalf. The next reason is contact changing and inconsitancies with making keeping and changing appointments. The final reason youre appointment has to be rescheduled for a now THIRD time because the doctor has not recertafied for the insurance that that doctor takes and the others in theoffice are booked but dont take the same insurance when they all work in the same bulding. Warning to parents save youre time money and efffert and go some where else unless you want this. One more final resoson when you ask how to fill out the paper work and ask the assistants they tell you I dont even know how to fill it out correctly. take youre child else where.

I made an appointment here 3 weeks ago for severe tooth pain which I was already angry about that I had to wait so long to get an appointment for terrible pain. I went there today for my appointment, and they told me it was CANCELLED because I hadnt returned their call from yesterday and confirmed. This place had my phone number WRONG in their system so I actually didnt get a call yesterday, they called someone else and left a voicemail with the WRONG PERSON. They had given my appt to someone else even though they messed up and didnt even email me or try to get the right number. All the lady had to say was they could get me in in 2 weeks, no sorry, no anything. Do yourself a favor and make an appt with a place who actually cares. I ended up missing work and getting no dental care because they screwed up. SO STUPID.

It was only one appointment and I was really happy with the service. The doctor and staff was nice and explained everything that was needed to be done adequately. They walked me through everything and answered all my questions, I will definitely say this is a great dentist office.

Our first visit at Kids and Family Dental was a very positive experience! The Dentist and Secretary that were helping us during our visit were very helpful. My (8yro) daughter felt very comfortable during our stay. The Dentist were patient and informative on the status of my daughter’s teeth and what procedures would be best to correct and prevent future problems with her teeth.

I love my dentist and my son loves his. I have been a patient from the month it opened years ago. I had a phobia of not being numb because as a child I had experienced being drilled even though I told the dentists I wasnt numb. My dentist at kids and family dental made me feel like I could trust him within the first appointment and now years later many appointments later that he is amazing at what he does and compassionate about dentistry. All of the staff are so friendly at Kids and Family Dental! The hygienists are so gentle when cleaning your teeth and they are very friendly with my boy, ages 9 years. Dr are also good. No waiting time otherwise i had very bad experience with other dental clinic where i have to waited like an hours. But here I hardly wait for 10min which is very reasonable. After seeing my kid here i also change my dentist. Now i am only going to Kids and family dental. I am generally not writing the review but i am really so happy with this clinic. All of the staff are so friendly at Kids and Family Dental! The hygienists are so gentle when cleaning your teeth and they are the BEST with my girls, ages 4 and 5! They chatted with them while they were waiting their turns to have their teeth cleaned, xrays completed, etc. and listened to them like there was no one else in the office! They always go out of their way for my kids and as a parent, I just appreciate that so much! I also love that they have late appointments so we don’t have to miss any work or school!My kids LOVE going to the dentist!!! Very dissatisfied with the lack of kid friendly staff that know how to communicate to children in a friendly, creative way that makes their first dental experience more positive and productive. First there were no toys at a pediatric dentist, which I thought that to be rather strange for a place that caring is their specialty and that is for kids. The pamphlet racks advertising how to help parents help their kids were completely empty. The website encourages parents to come but only allows one parent in the back so we had to awkwardly decide on a moments notice. The dental assistant introduced herself very quickly as she put on her mask and blue gloves and tried to get my 14 month old son to open so she could just see his teeth. She was rushing the entire visit spent maybe 6-7 mins total in the back and from my sons perspective... this was a stranger who hadnt even attempted to establish a rapport with him before suiting up and expecting him to let her stick her blue hands near his face....I do not blame him! She did not make this a fun experience by showing him any tools like the website also advertised and scolded him for reaching out to touch the arm of the machine from the dental chair while on my lap. She made no kid friendly attempts to make him smile or laugh which would have allowed her to get a look at his teeth and establish a rapport. She did not answer my questions/concerns I had and was told the dentist was too busy and she wasnt going to waste his time if my son wasnt going to open his mouth. She said hes little, Im sure his teeth are just fine. We will be going elsewhere for his next visit!!

Do Not Go Here, Dr Sarah Reiss , Very rude and arrogant do not bring your kid here, she doesn’t not care about you. She seem to only care about the pay check and NOT you. SAVE Yourself the trip and find a different dentist that actually cares about you and well-being.

I had a horrible toothache so made an appointment. They took xray and sent me home with antibiotic. No pain meds. Was told they had to get auth from my insurance to do root canal or extraction, and said that would take 2-3 weeks. I ended up at the ER 5 hours later - with life threatening sepsis - and spent 5 days in the hospital. Would I recommend this dental practice? Take a guess.Update: Tanya from this practice did reach out to me, and I do appreciate the discussion we had, and her concern. However, as I expressed to her, the dentist, Jason Nicoletti, had been dismissive, inattentive, and obviously did not communicate information he had available. This practice does not offer or prescribe any pain medications, nor do they do extractions, per Tanya. Tanya admitted that several failures by the office did occur, including their failure to send a referral for me (which was requested and promised FIVE times) and understands why I reviewed as I did.It may have been a one time event, but my lack of trust in this practice remains, and I stand by my review.

My husband and I took our son to Kids & Family Dental in a urgent emergency state for our son. They were the only office that treated children in our capital region. By far they exceeded our expectation with our sons insurance being cancelled at the last minute they were still willing to work with us to get his tooth extracted. Everyone was friendly and enjoyed watching our son tire himself out during the wait to get things done. Very professional staff, clean set up, an over all GREAT experience. We will be making them our sons permanent dentist as long as switching us over to them as well. I would recommend them to anyone who asks about a child or adult dentist. 5 stars to kids & family dental 🏅🏅

So far so good.The wait time has always been reasonable .In fact they have taken me in early on a couple of occasions. The 2 pleasant hygenists have always done great thorough cleanings.The dentist checks me always as well &answers my questions. Michael is always helpful in scheduling & sending a prior auth to the insurance company. I was ill &canceled the morning of appointment without being charged a fee.As I said I have yet to have work done at his office.I will be getting a crown done soon there.I will give a follow review after its done. For cosmetic dentistry I would look elsewhere however. As they are a meat &potatoes office.

I am not satisfied with this practice. My sons dentist had no professional manner whatsoever. They will not leave a message or call you back if they cannot reach you the first time. They flat out lied to me, saying that they tried to call and cancel when there was no dentist available. There was no phone call. I had gone through the trouble of getting my child out of school and taking time off of work, too. I am now waiting for a fax from them for a release of medical information authorization that was supposed to be faxed an hour ago. Still waiting. This will be the last time I try and deal with this practice. Their only saving grace was an excellent dental hygienist.

I made an appointment for a routine exam. I was told over the phone, after insurance, I would have to pay $49. When the work was done, they told me I owed $61. when I asked why it was higher, I got different answers. The receptionist and dentist do not communicate obviously. I was angry at the overcharge so I left after only paying $53. Then I received a not so nice letter from the dentist(Jason nicoletti) telling me not to come back for my next appointment, after I already said I wasnt coming back on my way out. I asked at least twice over the phone if $49 was all I would have to pay and both times I was told yes.

I arrived 15 minutes early for my first dental appointment with two toddlers in the morning. I had to wait 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, even though every patient that came in after us was called right in, some before they even sat down (they were all adults). So I was in a stark waiting room with no toys or books for kids with two toddlers for a full hour, so we easily burned through all the entertainment I brought and were ready for meltdown mode when we were called in. They told me my children had to be in separate rooms and suggested they not come in together, which I thought was bizarre to suggest I leave one child in the waiting room--I didnt do that-- and showed a complete lack of understanding about toddler separation anxiety. No explanation as to why the long delay only for us and no other patients. Hygenist was visibly uncomfortable working on toddlers and gave me a goody bag with a tooth brush and toothpaste that she told me I cant use on them until they are a year and a half older than they are now. Not sure if Im supposed to store it that long? They did give the kids cute teddy bears in the exam room and doctor exam was good and what I expected for this age child. I thought I was going to a practice that specialized in children but it didnt seem like they served many young kids or understood the needs of parents with young children. The long unexplained wait for toddlers is certain death for a parent and they didnt seem very prepared to treat kids. It looked very efficient for adults and those patients appeared pleased, but I wouldnt recommend for anyone under 10 years old.

We were the only ones there but it still took a while to be seen then they said my daughter who has never had a cavity had six cavities. They never showed me anything indicating where they were. They put her on a waiting list to get them fixed three months later we were still waiting so we switched dentists.

It is extremely frustrating when there hours of operation are 8:00-5:00 well I called little while ago and there closed. There website says there still open and there not.

When he pulled my three teeth I did not feel any thing and he mad me feel more comfortable by showing me everything in his hands I think he’s a really good dentist

Very unprofessional. Seems like they only want your money. Waited for over an hour to be seen for a 5 minute appointment. There is absolutely NO Privacy and it stinks like a hair salon giving a bunch of perms. Theyll scream everything about the HIPPA Laws but there is no privacy at all. Never going back there.

I.ve never written a review before,but Kids and Family Dental, deserve a 5 star review. With new insurance, and trying to get an emergency visit for a very painful tooth, my response was the same (make an appt. for new patient and cleaning /exam ,then make appt. to fix my pain )unacceptable then I called Kids and Family, spoke w/ Michael, who got me an emergency appt.within 2 hrs. On arrival I had xrays and Exam with Dr. Goldman, ( need root canal ) given scrips for pain and infection,within a few days was called to come in for procedure. Dr.Goldman is amazing, not only did I not feel any pain or discomfort, I think I almost fell asleep in the chair , this is a first for me ,as its my 5th canal. Dr,Goldman and his staff go above and beyond , if your looking for a new dentist ,look right here ! ! !

This is a clinic and you will see different ones. The problem with clinics is their dentists are usually not there to stay and have very little experience or Come from who knows where. So much wrong with this place I could write a book.
