Would recommend 10/10. The staff was phenomenal and attentive. The site was beautiful. The work he did, was top notch, and minimal pain compared to my horror story with Aspen Dental for the same problem. Go see Dr. Farren!!! Worth every single penny.

I cannot say enough good about this practice. As a general dentist who cares deeply about my patients, I feel so comfortable and grateful to be able to send them to Dr. Farren for surgical needs that cant be met at our general dentistry office. Not only is the surgical care provided exceptional and highly skilled, Dr. Farren is extremely compassionate and kind, and makes the patients feel very comfortable in a setting which could otherwise cause anxiety. And to top it off, all of the supporting staff are incredible; the receptionists are professional and helpful, and I especially appreciate when they make the extra effort to fit patients in the schedule when there is an urgent issue. Thank you so much! Highly recommend!

I highly recommend this practice! Everyone at this practice is super friendly and helpful. My many billing questions were thoroughly and patiently explained to me. Mackenzie welcomed me and had some fun conversation with me as I was getting set up for my extraction, which kept me calm. She answered any questions that I had,in a professional, yet not overly technical manner. Dr. Farren is amazing! From my consultation to my follow up, he explained everything patiently and clearly to be sure that I understood and felt comfortable. I cannot say enough good things about everyone at this practice! Thank you all for exceeding my expectations for a procedure that I was nervous about.

Called on a Saturday and left a message to setup a potential appointment. Was called back Monday, but could not return the call until Tuesday, to no answer. Was called back later that day, and the woman on the phone was extremely abrasive, did not know who I was she was calling back, asked if I was a different patient, and seemed annoyed to have to ask why I was looking to book an appointment. All to find out that they were booked until August. When I told her I would need the procedure done sooner, so I was sorry I would have to look for someone else, she was extremely curt and rude. So glad I did not end up going here.

Dr. Farren and his staff were great- professional but also very friendly and made my wisdom teeth removal much better than expected. The entire process was done quickly and affordably.

Dr. Farren and his team of professionals, including everyone in the front (Tina) and the back have been a pleasure to work with. Dr. Farren constructed a mandibular advancement device for my sleep apnea which reduced its affect by almost 50%. No more CPAP machine! Highly recommend his office.

I truly can not say enough good things about this oral surgery center. I went in with an emergency extraction after dealing with tooth pain for months and they took incredible care of me. Mckenzie got me right in and comforted me while I waited for surgery. She is the first nurse that has ever gotten an IV in me that quickly! And she and Tina kept ice packs coming for me while I waited. Again, it was an emergency so they squeezed me in last minute. Dr. Farren absolutely knows what he is doing and I felt at ease the moment I met him. I had a follow up today and I told them that after going to their surgery center, my life got infinitely better! If I called with a question post op, they immediately called me back and were so knowledgeable. I love this place so much and highly recommend them. They are all a class act!

Dr Farren made me feel comfortable during my wisdom tooth extractions. I hate needles and drills in mouth!!! He talked me through it and it helped keep me calm.Very skilled and was done faster than expected! Very little discomfort post treatment.His staff is very polite. Recommend for those seeking a skilled oral surgeon.

I have had 2 great experiences with Great Oak. The office is high tech, warm, comfortable and the staff are outstanding. However it is the very skilled Dr. Farren that makes this the absolute best place to go for your oral surgery needs. I recently had 5 extractions and 2 bone grafts for implants done. The next day I had zero pain, no bleeding and no swelling. It was amazing given the amount of work done. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Farren and his staff. 5 stars!

My mom, Patricia Simmons, had a tooth extracted by Dr. Farren and felt compelled to write a review. The office staff was awesome and very friendly. Dr. Farren is terrific. No one ever wants an extraction, but if you have to have it done, this is the place to have it done. She was very comfortable, and little pain. She would very much recommend this oral surgeon.

As someone who is extremely anxious about even regular dental checkups, I was amazed to find that getting two teeth extracted (under sedation) at Great Oaks was the easiest dental procedure I’ve ever been through! A huge thank you to Dr. Farren and all the nurses! They made an experience I was dreading as quick and comfortable as it possibly could be.

My procedure was painless, and the staff and doctor were incredibly friendly and kind. I highly recommend this practice.

I have a few things that bothered me about my appointment. The first was one of the nurses kept making faces at the other anytime I spoke. Both of the nurses faces seemed concerned as if something was wrong with me or my situation or maybe my questions. Their behavior made me extremely anxious but they had already administered the iv and I was on my way out. All I know is I would NEVER GO BACK. I payed out of pocket and they charged me for “extra” anesthesia in case my surgery went on longer than an hour. My surgery was done in 40 minutes and I didn’t receive a refund for the extra I was charged. When I woke up from surgery I was in a wheelchair being rolled down the hallway. I was not given any medications or instructions for after care. I was shoved in my car by one their rude staff. After almost a year of having the surgery I now suffer from tmj. I had never had complications with my jaw. I believe they cranked my jaw wide open to the point that they tore ligaments. I now suffer everyday due to the tmj. I wish I had found caring people to do my surgery but I didn’t and I hope after reading this you find someone else. These people are after your money and they do not care about you at all.

I am surprised by the one star reviews. Dr Phelan was excellent. He was very friendly and explained things well. He told you exactly what you would feel during surgery so there were no surprises. I went to my dentist on Wednesday evening for a toothache and the tooths roots were too big for him to remove. He referred me to Dr Phelan and I was seen on Friday Morning. The tooth is out and Im pleased. Im very satisfied with him and his staff. They were very welcoming and caring. I would 100% recommend him. Thank you again everyone for making a bad situation a tolerable experience
