By far the worst for one my box braids were so tight it pulled my edges out front and back salon was dirty and ghetto had random people coming in to sell stolen goods did not speak in english everyone not from africa hatti or where ever they from

Got some braids done here once. Horrible service and they did not care at all about how I wanted them done as the customer. Did not wash my hair properly. Towel dried my hair with extreme roughness and literally tried to rip through my hair during the detangling process. Then when braiding, I told them multiple times it was too tight. Instead of loosening up, they asked if I just wanted to leave after being half way done. The braids were so tight, I had no choice but to take them out the next day. Scalp was red and in pain for 2-3 days straight. Not to mention, instead of one woman handling this process, I had to deal with 3 of them. Took 5 hours just for some straight backs.They are not good at their jobs and I’m very sure many of them aren’t licensed to work at hair salons. Especially whoever they had wash, condition and detangle my hair. She did not know what she was doing. Very dirty and disorganized salon as well. Be careful!

I love flo and her daughter’s they take care of my baby hair and I love it’s a family business my sister crystal recommended me and the been doing my baby hair stylist since then ❤️

I didnt like the fact that they tell you to buy the hair extensions and when you get back to their shop, they used an older or different type of hair extensions instead, of the fresh pack you bought. Next time, Ill pay more attention closely⁶ to make sure the hair I bought gets used on me and not for someone else. Other than that, my hair turned out good

Very helpful. She went to BSW with me to make sure I purchased the right hair and also the right amount of hair. She also worked at a good pace. She took no breaks. The only concern was the children running around the store. They were extremely loud and I was afraid that they were going to get hurt.

I will definitely go somewhere else!I went into this salon a couple of years back and got my hair braided. I decided to go back. I was first given the owners daughter,a tall slim young lady whose braiding skills I felt needed work. I explained that I was dissatisfied and was promised another woman would help. The new woman came in and complained about me having too much hair (in French). the woman who braided my hair took several breaks and was left to do my hair alone after they promised to do a 2 person job. The final result, my braids are huge and the braids are not only uneven in length the BRAIDS ARE LOOSE. I ended up leaving at almost 2am (we started at 5:30pm). They had about 3 crack heads come into the store that night. (the shops doors dont lock properly). 2 woman, no security except for a sub-par camera system. One of the crackheads usually uses the bathroom at night to smoke crack from what I was told. The salon is not kept clean, the chairs are busted and dirty. A tip for anyone who wants to take their chances, dont hand over any money until theyre 75% done. I had to help the woman braid my ends since she took forever. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!

Do go to this shop early and expect to leave at a reasonable time! I got there at 8 a.m. and didnt leave until 7 p.m. due to the woman kept stopping my hair to work on walk ins! She took so many breaks and even had a nerve to go shopping while I waited an hour sitting in the chair! This shop has very poor customer service! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Great place to get hair done

This salon is overly priced for them not to supply hair. I was dropped off by my fiancee and was told a specific time frame for regular cornrows in a bun. 3 and a half hours later, I was still sitting in the chair. Their communication to their clients is horrible. I had one woman blow dry my hair. Another woman whom was doing a clients head got off her head and start working on mine. 2 other young ladies finished the ends along with the woman who did the blow dry. That poor woman that had the braider that got off her head to do mine was sitting in that seat before I walked into the salon for service. I asked for normal size cornrows and got fat cornrows.The things I like about this salon.... The women speak french so I comprehend their conversation well. No bad talk about clients. No children were running around the salon.

Very reasonably priced and they do great work. Its your typical african shop lots of friendly ladies and also cute friendly kids...can be a bit roudy at times especially with the children but if your accustomed to be around kids its the normal. Her address has changed shes now at 329 Central ave!

Great quality hairstyles but the duration of the braiding process is way too long; also Flo changes prices last minute.

The girl who Braided my hair did it so tight I had to take 800 mg pills for over a week and they over charge

Flos is a great,no wonderful hair shop and the service their is really great you can make early appointments or come at a time that suits you the prices are fair and you also learn a bit about the African culture i am 100% satisfied with my hair

Im done with this place, jumbo braids falling out after 4 days, and very painful braiding, though another lady redone some of them, 80 dollars and a 10$ tip is not worth the pain and aggrivation

DISRESPECTFUL and gave me an bald spot an couple days after my visit.

They don’t answer your questions or answer the phone when you call if they do they rudely hang up the phone on you . The work area is messy and extremely smelly that has a lot of flys . They want to mostly do their friends and each other hair , they do rushed jobs on your hair just so they can get their hair done .
