I love my hair even though I had about four ladies braiding and pulling my hair. But the worst part of this experience is the tightness of my head. Im a stylist and I don’t even braid hair this dang tight, to the point I haven’t slept. The meat of my forehead is pulling that’s how bad it is. Never again will the really skinny chick that’s always on the phone do my hair again.

This place sucks! My step mother has been in this God forsaken hair shop since 10am! Here it is 7:06p & she is still there! Why you ask? The person doing her hair left in the middle of doing her hair & still is not there making her miss her show she had tickets for! Hope this damn shop gets shut down! Ppl been complaining for years about this tired ass shop! #UNACCEPTABLE

The women are really rude They try to overcharge and really cannot braid. They are slow and comprehension levels lack.I was in the shop 1hr and 17min The woman cut my braiding hair up and never did one braid yet i left with my head sore from the comb she kept trying to part my hair with continuously because she was trying to eat and talk mess. I will never step foot in this place again. This is probably why they had more babies than customers in the salon They should really be ashamed

Please do not waste your time nor money. I paid $150 dollars for box braids....the woman (sits near the bathroom) said she could grab sort hair, mind you I went in there the weekend prior to my appointment, she physically touched my hair and said no problem, I can do it. She took forever to braid it, took a plethora of breaks to eat, and rest and I sat in that chair for 9 long hours, in addition, not within a couple of days the braids started to fall out. I called the shop spoke with the shop owner who had the audacity to tell me your hair is short I explained to her this is not knowledge to me I understand the length of my hair, however, she told me from her mouth that she could grab it. In addition, I went back several times to have them redeem themselves and fix it. Never again! Look elsewhere! I advise you do not go to Annies to get your hair braided! You have been forewarned.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO HERE! These are Cameroonian women who speak about all their clients in French and Cameroonian pigeon during the time the client is in the chair. They also laugh about how they will be improperly messing up your hair. They didnt know that I understood everything they were saying. I will be brief about this horrific experience. 1) its more of a daycare than a salon so be prepared. They each being their children there and allow the children to run the very very small and tight salon by doing and saying anything they please with no regulation. They scream, they dance, they touch you when your getting your hair pulled and the ladies just laugh. 2) they talk about everyone. Because they didnt know I understood, my lady was saying that she would make big boxes (I was having Senegalese twists done) in the back of my head and smaller boxes in the beginning so it could take a shorter time for her to braid. ( they gather me $180 and I was there from 1pm and left at 10pm). She also made my hair much short in the back (shoulder length) and my desired hair in the from (mid back length). When I asked her to redo it she became upset and called me bête (dumb/foolish) in French, along with other words. They then proceeded to say that when customers talk to much they pull their hair when combing and braiding so they know not to speak their mind. I was texting my husband throughout the ordeal and I was on the verge of tears because i just wanted to get out of there and I was telling him all that happened. One lady started reading my texts to my husband and told the other ladies what I was texting. Long and horrific story very short. I was there for 9 hours and my hair was done extremely improperly. The twists and boxes were various sizes and there was no clean pattern for my hair being braiding (ex: no straight line in the middle or on the side so I can part it properly when styling ... Even tho I had asked for it). I stilled paid them the $180 because at the end of the day money comes and goes but your character is forever.

Will Never be back, the establishment has gone downhill..had an appointment for 1030am and the person who is suppose to do my hair was late. When she finally came she started my hair and didnt finish and left so I sat there for an hour waiting for someone to finish what she started. The owner of the shop was very combative and belligerant and kept telling the customers that they should thank him because he could shut the whole place down so that he can get his hair done..very unproffesional...NEVER AGAIN!!!

I wanted faux locs and even showed a picture. The woman said she could do it and after she did a few in the back, they felt very stiff and hard. I asked her would they loosen up and lay. She said yes. Did my whole head and then pulled it up in a ponytail. It was still very stiff it was even worse once I got home and pulled the ponytail down. The locs wont lay down. I think they wrapped them too tight and they burned the ends like you would box braids. I wished they had just said they didnt know how to do it and I would have picked a different style. She also told me I could curl them but they will barely curl theyre wound so tight (tried once I was home). And then when I paid, reluctantly, and was leaving she told Mel had hair left over and was wrapping up some left over hair Back into a package and I noticed shed conveniently forgotten an unopened pack that was out of my bag and laying on the floor behind my chair. Im disappointed that I spent my time and money there. Sadly the locs are nice if they were loose enough to lay down naturally. They definitely dont look like faux locs. Never again
