Went in to get a haircut. No one acknowledged me. My sister and I both wanted a haircut. Both stylists were finishing up a customer. Both of those customers left. Another stylist came in. No one ever acknowledged us. They continued to chat about how they cook their dinners, how fast their new machines are, how one stylist cleaned everyone’s chairs for them, still no one said they’d help us. When we got up to leave no one said a word.

Rachel is extremely talented with color and hair design. She is very professional, and has a great personality. If you are looking for the best hairstylist in Albany it is Rachel.

Literally the worst hair cut I have ever received. Poor communication and rude behavior. I believe the lady who cut my hair was named Ashley so I recommend avoiding her if you do get your hair cut here.

Theyre so friendly and nobody can cut my hair like Ashley Howell. I love the to go! We always end up laughing about something. Just a friendly atmosphere!!

Usually go here every other month for a haircut. Never get the same stylist, but occasionally I do. Last visit wasnt asked if I was a senior citizen or a vet, (Im both). My wife had hers trimmed, took 5 minutes. Was charged full price for my haircut as well as wifes trim. I usually leave a good tip, but I didnt on this visit!

Very unprofessional the lady kept getting angry at my son because he wouldnt sit still, and kept whipping his head around with the scissors and buzzer next to his head then proceeded to pass us to another hair dresser because she just couldnt deal with him and it was to early for her. Dont say you cut kids hair of you clearly cant do it.

They were very nice and friendly. Great if you’re a senior or a local Caucasian.There was one particular hair stylist going on and on about “Blacks and Cubans”. It was in very poor taste. Nobody spoke up and continued to carry on the same conversation.Not my crowd. I would have requested more than I had for my hair but I just wanted to get out of there.

Was very unhappy, had to go to another place to get it fixed. This is not layers!

I went in wanting a light trim. My hair was full of hairspray so it had to be washed. It wasnt dried. I had errands to run and I was fortunate to have paper towels in my car to dry it because it was dripping wet. My chair wasnt sanitized and the shears/combs werent either. My hair is 2 inches shorter in the front and one side is layered, the other isnt. I am really upset. I arrived at 4:20pm, so it wasnt closing time. I was so flustered she never offered to dry/style but she sure asked for a tip. Im going to have to get it cut again tomorrow after work because I have a conference this weekend and it is unstylable.

Very nice place to go, and its sanitary. My only problem is that the service there could use a little work.

Worst cut of my almost 40 year old life.

I went there 3 weeks ago and my hair has never been this bad. I had it foiled for my highlights and it was supposed to have been layered. The only reason I gave it 1 star was to do this review. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE... thats all I can say

I asked for a slight trim up , just get the hair off the back of my neck and trim up around my ears and keep the length. She gave me a ENTIRE new hairstyle cut off over half my hair. My side burns are off entirely by half a inch , the back of my head has a hard slant on it. And on top of all that the hairstylist wouldn’t stop talking about conspiracy theories obviously more worried about that then giving me what I asked and paid for.entirely unhappy I highly recommend not coming here unless you want to go to a real hair place a couple days later

Was impressed with the way they cleaned their chairs and equipment. Waiting chairs were spaced out. All customers had temperatures taken and customers and stylists washed hands before cut. Joanne did a great job on my hair as did Rachel with her customers.

It was very good.Tameka gave me a super hair. May the LORD give her an extra blessing today.

Amber cut my hair yesterday, and I love it! Hadnt had my hair cut in 11+ years... This is the shortest I have ever gone and I was nervous at first but the style she gave me really fits my face well and I love it! Thank you so much! 5/5 Definetly would recommend!!

WOW! I am impressed. My stylist, Alysse, was able to make my visions into a reality. I always picture supermodels with light, nicely colored, and voluminous hair. I never thought I would be able to achieve it myself without spending a fortune. Alysse cut and colored my hair for the first time and I am positive I will never go anywhere else for hair styling services. I have also started bringing my children to her for haircuts and she gives them the best fades. It is very difficult to find such a talented person who is also good with kids.

I’m so relieved that I finally found a stylist that really cares about me and wanted to do anything she could to help relieve my chronic migraines. We went with a pixie and my wife and I both are in love with it! Erin is awesome. I decided to let her do some color to and I could not be happier. She is the only stylist I will be seeing from now on!

Alysse is Great! She always is very concerned about giving be the cut and color that I love. She is very knowledgeable about new cuts, styles and color. She is the only person that has ever been able to color my hair that didn’t leave it grayish undertones. Thanks Alysse!

Alysse Kress is amazing hair stylist. She is very friendly and helpful when it comes to making decisions on what you want to get done, I am very picky on who cuts my hair and when she did mine, I knew she was the stylist for me. She is also great with cutting kids hair.

I love the fact they are open after hours. Thats great for someone who is working. I just wish they keep the same stylist, They keep changin people on me. Lol

I had my hair done by Alysse at this location. I loved my experience! The environment was warm and inviting, and everyone was friendly! I had my hair foiled and faded with 3 different colors! I also had 6 1/2 inches cut off! I thought I was in for a surprise, and boy was I! Everybody loves my new hair, especially my husband 😜 Alysse is a miracle worker and I couldn’t be more happy with my do!!! I DEFINITELY recommend this salon and most DEFINITELY recommend Alysse!!!

This is a great place to get your haircut in Albany. Joanne always does my hair and she does a great job. They all are very nice, kind, and I know I can trust them to do my hair.

You get what you pay for. It was rushed and I had to go home and take some clippers to blend the sides better.

Erin did a fantastic job doing my hair. She was able to do exactly what I was imagining. Can’t wait to come back.

Need to update hours. I drove 35 minutes, arrived at 6:20 and they are already closed. My hair takes 15 minutes to cut.

They cut my sons hair nice. The lady left it a little long. (Ive noticed they do this if you dont specifically ask that it be cut short.)

Went to get a balayage and left with orange hair (not what I’m mad about). I’m mad because when I schedule my second session to get the brass color out of my hair they called me the day of and told me she wasn’t going To be in. I asked when my hair stylist would be in they told me Thursday. I scheduled a appointment for 5:00pm on Thursday They called me at 4:45pm on Thursday while I was On my way to the appointment to tell me she’s not gonna be able to make it! This was the 2nd time I tried to schedule a appointment and got told she wasn’t gonna be in. So now it’s been almost a week with orange hair and I’m over it I’m going straight to Mack salon where I should have went in the first place.

I don’t recommend this place at all!! Asked for layers and it came out looking uneven and it looks like the layers were cut straight across my head. I don’t think layers was Ambers strong suit.
