Have been going here for several years now for help with my tinnitus. Dr. Mitchell has been great to work with. Shes been very helpful making sure that my devices are working they way they should be. They always inspect and clean the devices on every visit to make sure they are working properly.Dr. Mitchell listens to any concerns or questions and does a great job addressing them.The staff here have always been great.I highly recommend Sound Relief and Dr. Mitchell.

I lost hearing in my left ear a couple years ago and didn’t do anything about it. After visiting a couple different audiologists, I never went as far as getting a hearing device. Then life got crazy and still never did anything about it. (And my hearing didn’t comeback) Finally, I decided it was time to do something about it and that the hearing was not going to come back, so I reached out to Sound Relief Hearing center in Westminster. I am so glad that I did!! Dr. Leah Mitchell sat down with me and listened to what I had to say and wanted to hear about the history of my hearing loss. I was never rushed through my appointment. It’s pronounced tinnitus, not tinnitus.

Where do I start, 1st, why didnt I do this sooner. I knew my hearing wasnt great but I had no idea what I was missing. I thought the ringing in my ears kept me from hearing but found out that I was hearing the ringing because I wasnt hearing the world outside of my head. 2nd Ive been talking to many of my friends that have bought hearing aids but dont use them. Please make sure you go to someone like Sound Relief to make sure they are fit properly and adjusted right. Dont buy cheap and waste your money. Get it done right. Im enjoying conversations, meetings and friendships better now because I can hear and engage in the conversation without straining to hear and keep up with the conversation. 3rd, who ever thought this would happen. Im actually playing better golf because Im hearing the club hit the ball. Its also reduced the ringing in my ears to help improve focus. If you are not hearing crickets you need to go see these guys!

It has now been a year and a half since I have been going to see Dr. Tony at Sound Relief. The experience has been very good for me in getting relief from my tinnitus. Considering I have had ringing in my ears since before I turned thirteen it had just been a part of day to day life. The sound therapy has worked to reduce the episodes of extreme ringing almost entirely and allows me to control the tinnitus. I do have one tip for purchasing batteries for your hearing aids, check out Amazon basics batteries. I was able to purchase a 60 pack for under $14. Considering most stores charge $9 to $10 for an eight pack I have found the Amazon batteries last the same amount of time for me.

As a manager of a band and a performance artist hearing protection is paramount. Im exposed to high volume rock and roll music on a weekly basis so hearing protection is very important to me and my career also depends on it. I have been experiencing Tinnitus for about four years. Recently the ringing increased to a level that was unbearable and seemingly inescapable. I have seen commercials with Dr. Julie and Sound Relief Hearing Centers for several years so I decided to make an appointment. Within a week I met with Dr. Tony Kovacs at the Westminster location. Dr. Tony immediately put me at ease explaining what tinnitus was, why I was experiencing it and most importantly what he could do to offer me relief. I went through a complete hearing evaluation and learned that, despite my hearing still being pretty good for my age, there was a lot he could do for me. Dr. Tony fit me with small, discrete devices that emit therapeutic tones into my ears that almost instantly provided relief. After just two weeks I have noticed a substantial ease to my tinnitus and In fact there are many times during the day that I don’t even notice the tinnitus. My tinnitus hit one evening without warning. It was loud and I lived with it for 2 1/2 years. I decided there had to be something better so I gave Sound Relief a try. I had put off getting a hearing aid until tinnitus exacerbated my hearing loss to the extent that I did not enjoy being around other people. Having worked as a professional for many decades in a behavioral science research center at a major university, I knew it was important to take care of my hearing and I knew of the linkage between hearing loss and dementia. A visit with another audiologist several years ago left me with the understanding that it was my responsibility to choose a hearing aid. So I chose nothing. I have tried several different types of hearing devises over the years only to be more frustrated with either the devise or the service. Then came Sound Relief Hearing Center of Westminster, Co. Dr. Leah Mitchell showed me the professionalism that is advertised and the patients of a Saint. As mentioned before about my frustrations with hearing devises, Dr. Leah did not and would not give up on my hearing even when I tried to throw in the towel. I was at a point that I thought there were not any hearing devises that were going to work for me and Dr. Leah proved me wrong. My hearing as with a lot of other people was a different kind of loose and with several different attempts, we have finally come to a crossroads of adjustments that is working very well for me. I was very pleased with the way Dr Leah Mitchell explained the procedure of the hearing exam it was the most extensive hearing test I have ever had . after the the exam we talked about the different types of devices that where available for me and helped me pick the best one for my needs . The follow up visits got them adjusted better for meI would recommend them to any of my friends or any one that asked me about my hearing aids

I was fitted with ear generators for my tinnitus and hyperacusis 8 months ago by Dr. Leah. They have helped me on my road to habituation. Dr. Leah is always so attentive to my needs and concerns and goes the extra mile to ensure all my questions are addressed. Sound Relief Hearing Center is the best!!

I saw Dr. Tony Kovacs for hearing issues Ive had since I was a teenager, Ive always had very sensitive hearing that could cause anxiety but I didnt know why. I had never had my hearing tested before and Dr. Kovacs was very professional in showing exactly what was going on within my hearing and how certain frequencies affect my hearing. I left having a better understanding of how hearing works as a whole and also it has affected me in my adult life.

Excellent staff and knowledgeable doctors. I went from half deaf to hearing things I havent heard in years. Dr. Leah and Jerry are fantastic!
