This office double books. I waited two months for the first appointment of the day because - like most of the world - I have to get to work. I walked in ahead of another patient who it turned out was scheduled for the exact same time with the exact same doctor. Because I was a new patient, she was checked in faster and got in first. So here I sit 46 minutes after my appointment time and still no doctor, not even a nurse to speak with. I find this very disrespectful of peoples time, not to mention inconsiderate and rude. Who books multiple patients for the same time slot with the same doctor?!?

Went to ENT & ALLERGY for appointments with Dr. Imber and Dr. Romak. Access and check-in are easy. I spent about an hour in the waiting room. Wonderful people.

Excellent physicians & medical staff BUT office staff inept. Taking four days to get a prescription refill which should be easy. Nearly impossible to get through to a human via the phone only to be disconnected after a long wait. Tried unsuccessfully to speak with the office manager. A sad and sorry office state.

Great experiences from Dr. Sheppard and Nurse Mark Landis!! I recommend either of them! – Only thing is that that calling the practice is a pain though, consistently a 10-20 min wait on hold every time.

Dr. Imber and his team are amazing! Was seen due to allergies and completed the allergy panel test, Amy was professional and very welcoming when getting this done. As completing the process she let me know what was going on step by step and making sure I was comfortable as I am allergic to a lot of things lol. super clean environment and friendly. Staff at front desk make checking in and checking out completely easy process. Will recommend to anyone who is looking for an ENT practice.

I went to see Dr. William Sheppard for a possible ruptured eardrum, as I was having pain. When he walked in he was very hyper and asked me what stupid thing did I do I felt like I was not taken seriously. But I explained to him I was having pain in my ear and post nasal drip. He looked in my ear for a full 2 seconds and said I was fine. Afterwards he proceeded to stick a scope up my nose without explaining what it was. Had I known I was going to receive a bill for $300+ dollars I would have graciously declined. He looked up my nose for a full 2 seconds and dismissed with without any solution. He stated it was allergies which I believe to be true but why the scope without my consent or even an explanation of what it is? After about a month I received a bill which I tried to dispute. The office manager I spoke with was very kind and did everything she could to help me with my unexpected bill, however it is still up to Dr. Sheppard and he states he had to do the scope and there is nothing I can do about my bill. All to tell me it is just allergies like every other person in Delaware. The admin staff was very kind but I will not be returning to Dr. Sheppard for future services

Poor attitude and bad service from this office. I don’t think I will return.I waited 45 minutes in waiting room with a few patients that came in after me going back.I inquired politely at the window and they asked if I was done. I advised I haven’t been seen yet and no apologies or explanation at all. Just a bad attitude.Had me wait another 10 minutes on top of that. So I finally get to back and I politely ask what happened? Well I get a very poor response.So bad that went back to reception and asked for my co-pay back. They seemed happy to give the money back and lose a new patient.Mind you I was very polite the entire time.Would not recommend this practice.

I was seeing different doctors before I found Dr. Sheppard. No one could help me with my severe allergies, but dr Sheppard told me 3 possible ways how to approach my problem, and let me choose which way works best for me. My allergies now under control. Another time I also had an ear infection. I went to walk in clinic, they prescribed me antibiotics which I religiously take as prescribed. 11 days later I still suffered from pain and couldn’t hear very well, so I went back again. They prescribed another portion of antibiotics.... 7 days later pain was gone but I still could not hear... So I made appointment with dr. Sheppard. It took him 5minutes to fix my ear. And I will never go anywhere else but to dr. Sheppard!!!!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! This office is so unorganized its pathetic. Appointment was at 11am and wasnt seen until 12:15pm. I was told twice that I was the next person for an hour and fifteen minutes. The woman at the front desk checked me in as a brand new patient and then at the end of my appointment (over 2 hours later!) tells me the wait was so long because she thought I already had my hearing test which was a LIE because she is the one who checked me in and registered my new patient forms and told me I was in line for the hearing test! Instead of apologizing and admitting she was wrong and forgot about me (as I say in the first chair right in front of the desk, she made up a lie/excuse to make herself look better. I was told I would need to wait even longer or come back for a completely separate appointment to get a necessary test done. I will never go back to this office, they are inconsiderate, rude, unorganized, and unprofessional.

Called today and spoke with a receptionist about being seen for an urgent issue before going out of town. I was scheduled the next day for 11:00am but upon finding out I had an allergy test done at one of their locations in 2014 I was no longer considered a new patient but an existing one. Thus I wouldnt be able to be seen for four days. I asked how come and she stated new patients get earlier slots in hope of acquiring new clientele. Just to make sure I was hearing her right I stated I would have to wait four days because I had an allergy test done in 2014 so they could leave slots open for potential new business? Her response was every medical office does it, deal with it and proceeded to hang up on me. I am appalled at the lack of compassion, empathy and customer service. To have the ability to help someone in a need medically but leave ascot open just in case someone new calls is just disgusting. I would have gotten the receptionist name but she hung up on me. It is clear this company cares about one thing MAKING MONEY.

Long wait in Lobby, I was not taken back until 40 minutes after my appointment time. The check in employee could not understand which was the correct co-pay on my insurance card and I had to correct her (my card simply says PCP $30 and specialist $55. Not difficult). She was going to have me pay $25 less than my specialist copay. Practices can lose A TON of money with mistakes like this. I saw Dr. Romak. He was condescending, dismissive of concerns and issues, treated me like I was an idiot. Typical know it all attitude of young physicians. No follow up instructions if symptoms did not resolve. I ended up back at my PCPs office a few days later due to continued issues for an issue that had already put me in the hospital once. With my PCP I reviewed his medical note from my appointment and the med note was MUCH MORE detailed with important information than anything I was told/given while in my appointment. This clearly illustrates neglect in regards to true concern of patient care and only true concern over proper documentation in order to ensure being paid by the insurance. He also over coded greatly, billing a 99204 for my appointment but only spent about 10 minutes with me at the most. Typical time for this code should be about 45 minutes. I do healthcare consulting for improving overall business operations of physician practices and there are so many flaws I would need to correct with this practice. Avoid going here. Only positive was that I was able to get a same day appointment.

Wonderful practice. I have been seen at a few loctions and everyone has been wonderful. I have seen Dr. Romak and Dr. Imber. Excellent doctors and a very kind staff. Waiting room can look a bit busy but that is due to multiple providers in the office at the same time but it doesn’t effect my wait time with my doctor. Thankful I found this place.
