This is a very professional Dental office, with a great support staff, but not for me. I only wanted my dentures adjusted and was not in the market for new dentures or implants. All the time, on this visit, was spent trying to sell me implants and not enough time spent addressing my needs or wants. If you ae in the market for implants or dentures, this may be the dental office for you.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Dr. Graves is wonderful at what he does, thorough, precise, and explains everything so you know what’s going on every step of the way. Amy, the dental hygienist was wonderful with my first dental exam in 5+ years, she assured me that it would be fine and they would get me taken care of. Ashley, the other dental hygienist who did all of my scaling and root planning made me feel calm and was so gentle. She really went the extra mile to make sure nothing hurt and I got the results I wanted. My teeth have never looked better and I feel so confident. So glad I found this place and would highly recommend them to anyone!

I have been extremely nervous about going to the dentist & have pretty severe issues going on. Every place that I went before this had me feeling uncomfortable and bad about myself. As soon as I came to Myrtle Grove I felt comfortable, every staff member that I met was so kind and reassuring. The dentist actually took time to show me my X-rays and discussed detailed information on what we could do as far as treatment plans. They answered all of my questions & were all so helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this place if you are nervous about dental work.

Dr.Graves and his staff were beyond phenomenal. From the moment I walked in the door everyone greeted me with smiles. They definitely know how to make you feel like family. I had to get a root canal done and I was very nervous and scared. Luckily I had the option to do iv sedation to calm my anxiety down. Well it works lol, all I can remember is Dr. Graves putting in the Iv. After that I woke up at home in no pain what so ever. I will be coming back for all my Dental needs because they really listen to their patients and strive to Make the patient as comfortable as possible. (I left out the part of being able to have access to a warm blanket and tv which can never be beat)

Hes a good dentist but he needs to find someone that knows how to Insert a needle or invest in butterfly needles to make customer experiences enjoyable.I wont go into detail because overall Things went well but they need to go into more detail concerning prescriptions And why they should be filled where they request Instead of seeming as though its nonchalant, Hire someone immediately that knows how to insert needles PLEASE. Other than that the staff is friendly I wish there was more privacy when discussing payments And other personal matters, sometimes we dont know how loud we speak because we do the same things day after day but if customers can hear your business in the waiting Room thats a bit too loud. Other than that I would have rated 5 stars.They took care of my husband very well.

I am very pleased with all the work Dr. Graves put in to restore my smile. At 55 I was just thinking I would never have a smile I could be happy with. I responded to an ad on FB and a few minutes later my cell phone rang and Dr. Graves called me. That was pretty impressive in it self. He asked me what I was wanting to accomplish. My teeth were in bad shape. I was always embarrassed to smile in a world where selfies and pictures are everywhere. I took the first step and got a consult and Dr. Graves set up a treatment plan that included ortho as well as Veneers. He gave me a smile that I could be proud of. In October of 2019 I found myself with an infection of #15 tooth and started looking for a solution. Based on Reviews I read about Myrtle Grove Implant & Family Dentistry, I made an appointment to see Dr. Graves. His analysis of the tooth was that it needed to be removed and replaced with an Implant. Never having had an Implant before, I had questions. Dr. Graves answered all questions and showed me some of the State of the Art modern equipment he has at his disposal to make his practice a one stop shop for all his patients. I was very impressed. Also impressive to me was that Dr. Graves personally called to check up on me the evening of my extraction. I live ~30 miles from Myrtle Grove, but havent hesitated to make that trip for another Implant (#30), a Crown (#3), and a Cleaning. I have felt comfortable and pain-free for all these procedures, and will continue to have Dr. Graves handle all my dental needs.Dr. Graves does !st Class work and his Staff is well trained, very friendly and knowledgeable. I have always been horrified of the dentist. Like terrified. I had a few bad experiences in the past and vowed to not go back. After I had a molar split in half, causing excruciating pain, I had no option. I went to Dr. Graves, being extremely skeptical. Right away I was greeted with the friendliest staff I have ever met.They explained every step of the process and offered me sedation or nitrous oxide for my nerves. I chose sedation. I ended up having a root canal and several fillings filled. It was the best possible experience. I signed up for his in house plan (which is a STEAL). After my amazing experience and perfectly fixed tooth, I am no longer afraid of going to the dentist and have booked my 1st cleaning in 10 years!! Let me preface this by saying that I have a LOT of anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist, so I avoid getting dental work done as much as possible. My fear unfortunately has kept me from maintaining my dental health, however in this incidence, I had no choice. I was in excruciating pain with a broken tooth and needed work done immediately. I called Myrtle Grove Dentistry based on a recommendation from a friend, and was able to get an appointment the following day. Upon arrival, I was greeted in a friendly manner and taken back within 5 minutes. The office is very clean and welcoming, and the staff is friendly, and extremely understanding. Dr. Graves assessed my situation very promptly, and gave me my options. I decided to go with a root canal. Within 10 minutes, he was performing the work and I was no longer enduring unbearable pain. I can’t stress enough how impressed I am with Dr. Graves. He is extremely knowledgeable, precise, efficient and comforting! He has a keen awareness of his profession and is very skilled in his work - I did not feel an ounce of discomfort during my procedure. I was able to get my crown the next day and it’s beautiful. He took his time, and made sure the crown was designed to fit in my mouth and with my bite to a tee! His dental assistants are also fantastic and it is obvious how well they all work together as a team. To say that Dr. Graves and his staff helped me overcome my fear is an understatement. I will be going back to Myrtle Grove Dentistry from now on, and highly recommend anyone with high anxiety, as well as everyone else for that matter to visit Dr. Graves for their dental maintenance and needs!

I am a travel nurse and had an implant fail while on an assignment. Fortunately, I found Dr. Graves! He and the staff did an amazing job with my implant. I also had some old crowns replaced and some other work done. Although I am no longer on assignment, I travel to NC for all of my dental needs! Wonderful staff and Dr. Graves is awesome!!!!

Definitely the best dental experience Ive had in years even as I had to get my wisdom teeth out and catch up on dental work that wasnt fun. They are all so kind and they are quick to get you in and helpful if you have questions. They truly try to help you relax if you have high anxiety. From the soothing decor to putting on a show on a TV above you to massage chairs. Gas and sedation available also. I would highly recommend going here.

Ive had an infection for a while. I was also very afraid to go to the dentist because of some past experiences when I was a child. This time the infection was so bad I could no longer put it off. I was beginning to be concerned not only for my dental health but my overall well being. I did a search on Google and just randomly decided to call. I explained the issue I was having and from the moment I spoke to someone on the phone I was treated with so much empathy and compassion. Their staff goes above and beyond to make it a very positive experience from the start. I explained how terrified I was of dental work and they were so understanding and explained everything in great detail to ensure I understood what needed to be done and why. I had a tooth extraction and normally I would have ran away but I knew it had to be done. The whole procedure was painless and they made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Also Dr Graves took the time to personally call me that evening to check on me... that says allot. Ive definitely found a new trust in the dentist and will always come to these guys in the future. I recommend this office to anyone who has dental needs. My experience has been nothing but positive and I am looking for to getting my oral health beack in check with Dr Graves and his amazing staff.

I have always had a fear of dental visits. I went to see Dr. Graves a month ago and learned that I needed several extractions because of gum disease and my auto immune disease. I chose sedation. Instead of 2 teeth needing to come out the day of the appointment I learned there were 6. I was scared to death. I cant say enough about his staff...they were all calming and caring and explained everything and calmed me down. I cam through the surgery with no swelling, no pain and did great. I would 100% recommend he and his staff. Anyway. Anytime. He called me the night of surgery to check on me. Ive never been to such a caring dental office. Thank you!

I first came to Dr. Graves because the implants and appliances that were placed over a decade ago were broken and missing the front teeth, which had fallen out. I did not believe I could replace them due to my negative experience with them and the cost of replacement. After examination, Dr. Graves explained thoroughly the changes in technology which made the appliances more durable and unlikely to fail. He worked up a plan to achieve my goals in the most efficient and cost saving manner. I have a few more visits to go and am looking forward to completion. Dr. Graves is highly professional, efficient, personable and skilled. I would highly recommend Dr. Graves and his staff for any dental procedures.

I am so pleased with my visit! I’m terrified of the dentist and from the moment I walked in it just felt right! The vibe is calm and clean from the moment you step in the door, the sweet ladies that I met; Donna and Kaitlin were so nice, patient and helpful with all my paperwork and questions! After some simple x-rays I met with Dr. Graves and he couldn’t have been more professional with his diagnosis. I needed a tooth pulled and he was confident in taking care of it right then and there! Like I said I’m terrified of the dentist I needed a night to process, so they got me in the next morning. Needless to say his professionalism and confidence made for a goodnight sleep before this procedure. But still nervous I knew I still needed IV sedation. When I walked into the room...boom, heart rate sky rocketed while I tried to hide my nervousness, I sat in the chair and started shivering. Here comes Kaitlin with a fresh of out the dryer, warm soft blanket. It was so nice. I felt like everyone was so mindful of me being scared I couldn’t appreciate it more! The sweet lady that did my IV was like an angel in a dream as I can’t remember much after the gentle poke in my arm. I wish I could remember her name! Any-who Dr. Graves calmly came in and administered the anesthesia. It was a conscious sedation but I don’t remember a thing. (also while he saw the opportunity to pull a wisdom tooth that needed to go, he did) Zero discomfort, zero pain and now even the next day very close to zero soreness. I couldn’t appreciate this small group of professionals more. Needless to say I got their membership plan (so worth it!) And am actually looking forward to getting my mouth back to happy and healthy at Myrtle Grove Implant and Family Dentistry! I’ve been to 3 different places in town and this is the only one that I came back to! That says a lot! Go! Don’t be scared! They are more than awesome here!!

This week, I had an oral extraction with Dr. Nathan Graves in preparation for a dental implant.Since I was losing a front tooth, I was EXTREMELYnervous. Dr. Graves is a caring, compassionatefantastic Dentist. He did an amazing job in creating a temporary tooth from my own tooth that he took out. And with a membership program that his office offers, I saved $2500 for the implant when compared to another quote I received froma Dentists office that Ive been using for a long time. You CANNOT get better prices anywhere else but most importantly better CARE. The whole office is a feel good experience.

Dr. Graves DDS, is a new dentist in our neighborhood, his practice is Myrtle Grove Dentistry. I too am new to the area. I broke off a crown on a rear molar last week and needed emergency care, I went to Dr. Graves. It turned out the tooth was too far gone to be saved, he performed an extraction for me. I was very impressed by his skill and business ethics. Dr. Graves could have tried to repair the tooth and at best I may have got another few years out of it but that would have been a very expensive proposition. So, he will be my new dentist in North Carolina.Also be sure to check out their brand new office with state of the art new equipment. It is located next to the Harris Tweeter on Sanders and Carolina Beach road. They have a “Preventive Care” program, it is an excellent value and includes routine exams, x-rays and the so essential bi annual tooth cleaning for about half the retail value and 25% lower than most dental insurance programs. Wow!!! I would like to thank dr.graves and his team for giving me the best treatment possible i had a tooth that needed extraction. Was looking for a good dentist in town and this office was recommended. It exceeded my expectations. I went in for a simple cleaning and I was amazed by how high tech everything was! I even got to watch Netflix while getting my teeth cleaned. How cool is that! Im normally terrified of the dentist and my appointment went so well that I didnt have any anxiety at all. Dr. Graves gets my sense of humor and I appreciate that a lot! Definitely recommend!

I have a pretty intense phobia of dentists. Dr. Graves and his staff are very warm and kind and have done everything possible to alleviate my fears and concerns. I love that they have the top of the line, completely new and upgraded equipment! It takes away a lot of my fear of pain, because there is NO pain! I also love that for more involved procedures they have sedation as an option. Its awesome to wake up and be done. I highly recommend Dr Graves to anyone trying to find a dentist, and especially to anyone hesitating to go to the dentist due to fear. You will not be disappointed!

Dr. Graves and his assistants and staff are friendly, highly courteous and professional. Everyone has been very kind and accommodating, working around my schedule and some emergencies that came up. Dr. Graves actually knew I was going to have some problems soon if I didnt take some type of action. I waited a couple of months and that proved to be too long and it turned into an emergency. The facility is clean and has up to date equipment that speeds up the the whole process. Highly recommend!
