LOVE these people! They are professional and accommodating. I had been away in ME for 2 years and kept coming back to them whenever in town because like any good service business, I didnt want anyone else to mess with my teeth. The office is sparkling clean and the music is GREAT! Makes the time fly by and Dr. S knows how to listen and to share! Thanks!

Dr. Sweeney and his staff are amazing! He is very attentive to your concerns and has a tremendous level of patience while in his chair. I personally did not have good experiences with dentists growing up. I just had my first root canal initiated, and I thought it was going to be horrible. It was the exact opposite. When I explained that I wasnt fully numb he was patient and then reapplied a second dose. At that point he still waited patiently and was very informative. Also his primary hygienist is awesome, she spoke to me during the entire procedure keeping me in the loop. She routinely asked me how I was feeling. What else could you ask for from a dentist and staff lol. Also Dr. Sweeney is very good with kids, both of my children have been making routine visits since they were toddlers to his office; and theyre always happy to see him. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist in Wilmington.

Professional through and through. All COVID protocols adhered to even prior to entering the office. Temperature checked and all staff wearing the proper PPE. Ashia greeted me and respectfully asked all the right questions regarding my health which I appreciated. Dr. Sweeney was prompt and very articulate describing the procedure as we proceeding through it.The technology within the walls of Healthy Smiles blows me away! (And I use Automotve tech everyday!) Dr. Sweeney’s assistance, Joan, made my filling to replace a large molar chip with a what I could describe as a 3D printer and that was very, very impressive and convenient!Overall, the procedure went extremely well, on time and on budget. You literally can’t tell my real tooth from the newly repaired one. Dr. Sweeney certainly has the touch.

Professional service from front office to dentist. Thorough comprehensive exam including screening for oral cancer and thyroid check. I have never been to a dentist who checked my blood pressure and wanted to know about me. Dr. Sweeney did not rush me as I carried on with a story, he also showed a personal touch by sharing a few stories about his own children. He explained before moving to next segment of exam while answering my questions as well. Xrays were traditional as well as in color with full description of oral health! Keep up the good work guys!

Receptionist is TERRIBLE, and not-friendly at all. Unwilling to help you with anything and just always seems like you are an inconvenience to her, sorry for asking for help with YOUR job.One of the questions the dentist, if you can call him that, will ask is, have you refused dentist recommendations before? This was a big red flag to me and I ended up being correct as he came at me with a bunch of things that werent necessary.Save your time and money, go elsewhere.

My daughter has been seeing Dr Sweeny for years. I love the fact that she still sees the same hygienist since the beginning. My daughter really likes her and Dr Sweeney. Dr Sweeney is thorough, doesnt rush thru the exam or answering questions.Everyone at the practice is friendly, professional and good at what they do!!! I highly recommend this practice!!

WARNING TO ALL WOMEN: This dentist will ask you about your attendance to a gynecologist within 10 minutes of being in his chair. I can’t think of any acceptable reason why a dentist should be asking any woman about that.

Do not go here worst experience of my life. The Dentist is the most dishonorable and untrustworthy Dentist I have ever been to. STAY AWAY convince is not worth the trouble this Dentist will cause your mouth!

Would never use this dentist. My son had an emergency and I called for an appointment. Since it was his first time there the receptionist would not even talk to me she kept saying go to the web page fill out the forms and once it is entered into the system someone will call you. I was trying to tell her that he was an adult child with disibility and to please call me. I was told the number on the form is the number she would call. I waited by the phone all day no one called me. When I got home from work my son said someone kept calling him about his teeth. I left a message that night requesting again that someone please call me and left all my numbers. Next day no one called me. I called them and was told I had missed my appointment. When asked why no one called me I was told that she had spoke with my adult son. Its practice to call if they are over 18 instead of the parent. I explain to her the issue and told her it said to call me on all the paperwork. She then said she called all my numbers and no one picked up. She could not give me another emergency appointment since I missed the first one and I would have to wait over a week to get another one. Worst part was I was billed 75 bucks for the missed appointment. When I called to explain the situation and how I felt that I should not have to pay, guess who I dealth with, the same lady that messed everything up. She kept reminding me that she was the one I spoke to and was not budging. I requested to speak to the dentist and was told he would call me. Im sure he never recieved that message because I never heard from him. I continue to get letters threating to send me to collections stating I signed the forms when I became a patient. I never signed anything. I never made it into the office. Also I was not the patient. I looked all over the paperwork and the website it does not state anywhere there was a fee.The person who referred me there said that it was a male receptionist when she went and he was wonderful. She was shocked to hear this since apperently the dentist is great. I dont know about that if this is the first expression.
