Dr Maher and her staff are great! My oldest children used to come here so it was only right for me to bring my youngest son here. They are great with children and do an excellent job for children who have a fear of the dentist. I would recommend anyone looking for a dentist to come here and you will not go wrong.

I took my 2 1/2 year old here for the first time this morning… I was so nervous that my daughter would be scared and wouldn’t cooperate… however, they were AWESOME! They were great with her and she loved it . Hasn’t stopped talking about her clean teeth all day :)

My son was blown away as soon as we walked in, he loved all the posters and wall decals and arcade games! The staff were incredibly friendly and were so patient. The hygienist was so great at making him comfortable and at ease to take his X-rays. They even had sunglasses so the exam light wouldn’t bother his eyes! And the doctor was so incredible and thorough showing me his X-rays and giving me tips on flossing! This was supposed to be a specialty visit but my son will be coming here from now on! Amazing office I strongly recommend!

I was referred to Dr. Maher from my sons previous dentist. In the past my son had to be put under in order for invasive work to be done. Today he had a tooth extracted with laughing gas and two shots to numb the area, Dr. Maher and her crew were awesome, she was very sweet and compassionate throughout the whole procedure. I wish I knew about her a year ago. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs dental work done on their children or just a clean.

My experience at dentistry for children was outstanding. On time, great intake, our safety and others safety followed IAW current guidelines. Updated ventilation system in place. A well rounded staff to take care of non English speakers. Great service all around. This is why my family has come here since our children have had teeth.

Dr Maher and her staff go above and beyond to make their patients and their families feel safe and cared for. We have had experiences with major dental work requiring anesthesia in a hospital setting and routine office visits and we were completely satisfied with both. My 6 year old is scared of the dentist but feels at ease when walking through their Disney themed office! Recently, my daughter left her favorite princess doll at the office and was devastated. We live 1.5 hours away so they overnighted her doll to us!! We highly recommend Dentistry for Children!

Coming from a previous dental office who wasn’t very attentive I instantly loved this office for my son! The assistant was very patient and gentle. The doctor was great with him also! He needed a procedure and we got him scheduled for it less than a week away after multiple offices said it would be months of a wait before they could get him in. I highly recommend you bring your little ones here.

Dr. Maher has been a saving grace for my kids. She is entirely professional, handles kid fear with ease, and has a really nice office staff. I’ve recommended her practice over and over, and am thankful for her thorough and precise dental work. My girls have been her patients for around 12 years, and we were so lucky to find her after having negative pediatric dental experiences elsewhere.

It was my daughter’s first dental visit ever & she enjoyed it so much she spoke about it the whole ride home! My kids have been seeing Dr. Maher for 7 years. She pays very close attention to detail. Staff is very sweet and welcoming. It doesn’t matter how far I live, I will not mind making a trip to keep her as their dentist!

Dentist maher is very rude.I was uncomfortable with my daughter receiving the filling realizing she had just got painful work done not even a month prior and the dentist doesn’t ask for reason or have a short convo making things seem ok, she just ends the appointment and says ok well you can’t reschedule. Like excuse me. Thats no way to talk to your patients and if your that short tempered with me I definitely do not want you working in my child’s mouth. I have 2 children at this dental office and now she has 2 new openings if you want to deal with short tempered dentist working on your childrens mouths. And on top of that theres a dental hygienist thats on prize patrol. She tells my daughter look before you touch because after they received their procedure they can choose a prize but then they have this cuddle pillow that they use for different children to cuddle with while getting worked on. So if there trying to prevent germs I’m a little confused. But then theres other hygienist that let the child explore and see what they want. Just not the dentist office for me.

My daughter loves going to Dr. Mahr. Dr. Mahr has been amazing with my daughter for many year.

Dr. Maher recently completed a surgical procedure on my two year old son which involved several root canals and caps. Everything from start to finish was truly amazing. She walked us through the process step by step, she came out to me as soon as surgery ended and showed me photos, let me know all the details of the surgery. Most impressively, she personally called me that night at 8:30pm to ensure my son was doing okay. Having your two year old go under general anesthesia can be very scary, but Dr. Maher made it surprisingly calm and I knew he was in great hands. His caps look great, too! Thank you!!

Had a wonderful experience with my nine month old who broke a tooth. The staff was great at keeping my son happy. Doctor answered all our questions and didn’t rush through anything.

This Children’s Dentistry, Dr. Maher was the greatest all around experience and treatment we have ever received. I can say with 117% confidence that Dr. Rachel Maher DMD is the Best Kids Dentist on this Earth. I’ve been to every Continent besides Antarctica, so my opinion holds weight. Maybe Dentists on Planet Saturn might be able to compete with her, but they might not be able to because they don’t have Passports. 😋

We love Dr. Maher and all the Dentistry of Children staff! We have a seamless experience from scheduling to wait times, to the actual cleanings and exam everytime. The insurance reimbursement process is also very fast and simple. Highly recommend!

The décor of all the areas in the office and operating areas are great. Also, the dental assistant was wonderful with our child.However, we had issues with the financial aspect. Our old office, that got shutdown because of covid, had run a similar $99 promo which included pictures of teeth. We were informed of an additional $77 charge after our daughter was checked out. Thats fine.. not everywhere is going to be the same price. However, after the original pictures were taken we were told that they would require an additional two pictures needed to be taken. No talk of an additional charge so we obviously were under the assumption that all pictures taken cost the $77 quoted.Imagine my surprise when the additional 2 pictures cost us near $100 dollars more. Those two alone costing more than the 4 pictures they took earlier. I was fine with the initial additional cost for pictures, despite having not run into that issue before with a promo, but to not be told about additional cost relating to the same picture taking.. especially at that cost.. was not professional.

I love this dentist place for my 12 year old. It’s the only dentist that actually has a cozy ambience. I don’t mind going there and actually enjoy my daughter’s visits. They’re very thorough and don’t do anything that’s unnecessary. Having tried other places, I recommend dentistry for children.

Dr. Maher spent 8 hours in the OR with my grandson fixing a multitude of dental problems. She is extremely professional, kind and we will be forever grateful for the compassion she showed our grandson; she even called on the weekend on check on him. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a pediatric dentist.

I give 5 stars. Ive been bringing my son here since he was 5 years old, now he is 12. He loves coming here to the dentist. Dr. Maher is friendly, caring & personable. She has always made sure my son is doing ok, making sure he has almost zero pain when doing procedures like taking care of a cavity or when he had to have a baby tooth pulled. She tells him (and me) every thing she was does, while she is doing it. He loves getting to watch Disney movies while getting his dental work done. Today we are watching The Incredibles. The whole office is decorated in Disney characters. The dental hygienists are also friendly & personable. They ask my son how school is going & talk about the activities he is interested in, which creates a relaxed environment & great experience. Also, we dont have to wait long in the waiting room. I think 15 minutes is the longest weve ever waited, but today we were seen 5 minutes after arrival. Thank you Dr. Maher & your whole crew.

I took my son to Dr Maher to check out an abscess for the first time back in March and, despite handling the whole office herself, we had a wonderful experience with her and my son (age 6) now loves the dentist. We returned this week for a cleaning and overall check up, and the staff that we hadn’t met previously were fantastic! They’re all so good with the kids and the overall environment is so inviting and relaxed and I trust everyone’s knowledge and expertise. My son loves coming here, which means a lot because what kid yells “yes, I love the dentist!”

Terrible. Do not go here. My 6 year old son was crying in the chair because he was scared about his dental procedure and Dr. Maher threatened him by telling me to leave the room and that he couldnt see Mommy until he stopped crying. When that didnt calm him (no surprise there), he got even more upset, and started to have a panic attack, telling her he couldnt breathe and that he thought he might throw up. She said, youre fine, youre crying so youre breathing. No compassion or empathy in dealing with his emotions. It was traumatic and quite frankly, disturbing. On top of that, if your child is sick the day of your scheduled appointment, she will charge you a $50 fee for canceling.

I love Dr. Maher, she took my little princess and gave her back her princess smile. Thank you Dr Maher for making my baby girl smile again and taking away her pain. You just dont understand how happy you made both of us. You are the best of the best!!!

I’ve been taking my daughter here for almost 3 years. Every time we go my daughter gets so excited! Taking xrays are scary for children and they make it fun! The doctor answers all of your questions and makes your child laugh! Very wonderful staff. They making taking my daughter to the dentist fun! My daughter says “this is the best day ever”.

My four children have been with Dr. Mahers practice for over 10 years. She is very caring with the children and explains each step along the way. My one daughter is extremely anxious about going, but once she arrives, they know how to reach her and make her comfortable. Dr. Maher even prepared her for a tooth pulling with ease!Dr. Maher is very personable with both the children and parents. Her entire staff is top notch. It is so comforting to go in and see the same hygienists and staff year after year. We enjoy the Disney theme and the treasure chest at the end. And of course, we welcome the dental hygiene advice. It has been an absolute pleasure going to the dentist...who would have thought! I only wish I had this dental experience growing up. Simply awesome. Thank you!

It is a bit nerve wrecking to have dental cleaning during the Covid 19 time. However Danielle is absolutely fabulous. She is efficient and caring. We cannot be more happier with the service received.

The staffing are friendly, the Doctors are Amazing. Office is clean and the atmosphere is kid friendly. I loved how they explained everything out so thoroughly and kept my daughter occupied by talking to her making sure she understands whats being done to her teeth. That made her comfortable and willing to get the work done. I would of loved them to be my kids dentistry. Unfortunately the only downside is that they do not except any in-network insurance. Everything that needs to be done would have to be out of pocket.I would recommend this dentistry for sure but if you could afford it.

I wish I could give this 10 stars! When my 20 month old daughter had a discolored tooth, we went to three other pediatric dentist offices and all had a different approach without even looking at her or getting an x-ray. Then we met Dr. Maher. She took the time to really understand what was going on and provided excellent care for our daughter (and us since we were nervous). My daughter just turned 17 and we are so sad that eventually she will need an adult dentist. I hope that we can find a dentist to give us the same care we have gotten over the past many years. Dr. Maher and her team are simply the BEST. Give it a try!

All I can say is WOW! Dr. Maher was extremely personable. She took the time explain the proposed treatment plan in a way I was able to understand. The staff was awesome, bubbly, welcoming, and made my son and I feel comfortable. Kira talked me through what to expect, and gave some useful tips for brushing to cut back on future cavities. She also gave him son nice goodies. Overall, I would definitely recommend Dr. Maher as a pediatric dentist!

Excellent practice. Made my son and myself super comfortable. My son had to have a few cavities filled. Dr Maher has a neat trick to distract children from the pinch of the needle and it works great! Shake 1 2 3 ;)Before my sons 2nd appointment all he was upset about was having to eat soft foods for the day...no anxiety about going or the procedure. Also her staff is super friendly and has tons of movies for children to choose from:)

My son has been coming here for a few years now, we love it. The staff is very friendly, they work with my son when he’s fearful of getting work done. I really love how they make him feel special when he’s there. However, I was not very happy to have a fee sprung on me for extra ppe. Maybe I read it wrong but I was told that I would be billed. I’m not sure why clients are being charged extra out of pocket -And also why they aren’t telling us this before we get to the visit.

Always have been very happy with Dr. Maher. She has been successful in treating my children with issues that other dentists have been unable to help with. The assistants and hygienists are friendly and have always put my children at ease with explaining everything. Also very good with educating the children in dental hygiene and it’s importance. I highly recommend this practice.

A++++! We recently visited this office for the first time with my daughter who is extremely anxious at the dentist. I mean, Extremely!!! I can’t say enough about the kind staff and Dr. Mahr. The bedside manner was great, which is really important to me. The video games in the lobby were helpful to get her mind off things. Then we went to the back to the bright and cheery exam area where there were movies playing, which was also very welcoming. They talked my daughter through everything they did before doing it, which also helped. I can’t say enough about our experience. We have two more appointments of our series of 3, and I think I’ll be able to get my daughter to go back because it went so well.
