I went to Ramsey for a haircut for the first time today and she did an amazing job. My hair (straight and fine but lots of it and shows every cut mark) can be challenging, but she had no trouble giving me a great cut that looks just like the photo I showed her and also looks great on me! Im not used to getting a great cut the first time I visit a new stylist, so it was a very pleasant surprise. Shes also super sweet and easy to talk to. Great overall experience. Thanks Ramsey!

My first appointment here was in August and I had such a great experience! I highly recommend getting your hair done with Eric! I wasnt exactly sure what I wanted when I came in but I knew I wanted something a little different from what I normally do, so Eric came up with a gorgeous rose gold glaze that STILL looks amazing! I had a WONDERFUL experience with Eric today. I knew I wanted highlights but wasn’t sure what exact color I wanted. After discussing the options, I asked him to decide on color- leave it to the expert. He was very professional and explained how the color will accentuate my face. Once the highlights were done he walked me through proper care for my curly hair, what products work better, diffusing, etc. I love how my hair looks with the color and curl definition. I already booked my next appointment with him!

I just moved to the area and was spoiled by my lash tech so I was apprehensive to try someone new especially during the pandemic. My technician was really accommodating however I thought that sanitizing of hands should have been done more often. The only issue I had was that no one told me the service would be 2.5 hours. Other than that it was a good visit and I will be back for maintenance.

I had the best experience at Beauty Bar Boutique! The salon is very nicely decorated and has a welcoming ambiance and friendly staff. I was instantly offered a drink (tea, coffee, wine etc.) upon arrival. Maizie was my stylist and did a fantastic blowout! She took the time to understand my type of hair (naturally curly, but fine) and also what type of blowout style I was wanting. She explained all of the products she was using in my hair and what they were for. I really enjoyed having her as my stylist and she gave me the best blowout I’ve ever had! It lasted pretty well for 4 days (you can see the picture). By day 5 it was up in a pony tail but usually I don’t get much longer than 2 days or so on blowouts with my hair. I was very impressed and can’t wait to get another blowout there! I love that they also have a blowout punch card! I will be returning!

Since being new to the area we hadn’t really prioritized getting our eyebrows cleaned up. Made an appointment same day on a Saturday and was able to get in for an eyebrow wax with Anna, who was super sweet and did an amazing job! She asked me what I was looking to accomplish and she listened and did it perfectly. My wife was also able to have a same day appointment at the same time (extra convenient) for an eyebrow wax and tint. This was her first time getting tinted and left feeling so extremely happy and confident with how she looked! The cost was quite reasonable with us too, so we will be back regularly for sure! We also discussed with them other services that my wife is hoping to get done in the future and they were extremely knowledgeable. Thanks ladies!!!

I had an appointment with Eric today and didn’t exactly know what I wanted as I haven’t used a stylist in several years. Eric was patient with me and offered suggestions based off of my answers and I LOVE my new hairstyle! I’ll definitely be back! Best hair experience I’ve ever had!

Anna does my lash extensions every few weeks. She is AMAZING! Not only does she have flawless skills, but she is so easy to talk to, funny, and relaxing. I love my appointments with her. Every experience I have had at B3 is great, and everyone there is always friendly and helpful!

I used B3 for my wedding party and bridal hair and makeup in June, and everything was perfect! I did a trial and loved the look. Although I made some last-minute changes to both my hair and makeup, it was done perfectly and I was so happy with the final result. My bridesmaids had so much fun getting ready, and they all loved their natural makeup and individualized hairstyles. I could not recommend them enough! Also, Lauren has done my hair on several other occasions, and she is just so much fun to talk to! And she always does an incredible job with cut and with color. So does Hali, I only had her once but she was great as well. Ill be back for sure!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Every time I’ve been here I’ve been impressed with the customer service and the quality of work. I have been to a few other salons but this is the only place where I’ve felt completely comfortable. At some of the other salons I’ve felt judged or like they were in a hurry to get my hair done and get me out, but never at Beauty Bar. I’ve had my hair done by both Lauren and Natalie and have been super happy with the results. They have taken very good care of my hair and it has never felt, or looked, better.

I went in to have them lighten my hair that they had darkened earlier that year. The stylist ended up burning up to 4 inches of my hair in places. The problem was exacerbated because she ran off to cry when she saw it was excessively damaging my hair rather than to remove the lightener immediately. The owner tried blaming me for the fact that my hair was burned off and made it sound like a favor that she wasnt going to charge me for the highlighting service they could not do. She made no effort to apologize nor to compensate me for the damages. I finally was able to get her to give me a repair product worth about 60 retail after several phone calls. The fix the stylist who burned my hair off had to be re-cut and glazed twice that week to make it look somewhat presentable. At that point the stylist admitted what she had done wrong when I pressed her about it. She also did not have as much experience as she initially told me. I would have never gone to her if the stylist and front desk woman had told me her experience truthfully from the start. Their prices are competitive but given the damage they have inflicted it wasnt worth it at all. I would advise no one to go there.ResponseBeauty Bar Boutique its been under a year and a half and my hair is finally back to the length it was before I went to your salon. Considering my hair has been bright white for almost a year now shows that the issues werent with my hair but with the service. I didnt even mention the disaster with extensions from your salon.

I can’t thank Lauren enough for what she did to my hair! I haven’t had my hair done in over 7 years and this was an amazing experience. The staff was so friendly. Lauren put a beautiful caramel color highlights in my hair that blended perfectly. She even showed me styling techniques. I am no longer nervous to go get my hair professionally done now. She did such an amazing job and the place was wonderful and professional.

Great atmosphere and experience! Went and had a mens hair cut by the Eric Lewandoski. I was immediately greeted by Madie, taken back by her to get a wash and hot towel treatment prior to my cut with Eric. I will be going back for my next cut in 2 weeks, so should you.

Of course I could just say I go here for the convenience, since it is next door to where I work. But I really go for the service. They take excellent care of you at this locally operated salon. Their standards are high and the boutique shows it. You are always offered a beverage while your stylist prepares for you. I have personally have my hair cut by four different stylists and had a great experience every time.

This is an amazing salon. I have been three times, for three different hair styles (a classic finger wave for a Gatsby party, a loose wave do for my engagement photos, and recently I had 15 inches of hair cutoff to go short for the summer!). Every single time was an amazing experience that surpassed my expectations. Ashley did an amazing job my most recent visit. This is the first time I have loved my hair in awhile! Im never going anywhere else!

My experience was great! Im only in town for a month and wanted a non-sketchy place to get a much needed trim. They have a lovely waiting room where they offer water, coffee, and wine. Once I saw the place and met the stylist, who was going to do my hair, Courtney, I decided to trust her to cut my bangs as well. She was really nice and had a discussion with me about what I wanted her to do before I even they washed my hair. While she did my hair she told showed me how to style it and shared some tips on drying and some products that would help with my frizzy hair. In the end my hair looked great!

Courtney is absolutely amazing. She has been doing my eye lash extensions (which I will never let anyone else do) for awhile and just recently cut and colored my hair for the first time. And I will forever be her client. I used Natalie and Amber for hair and makeup for my wedding - They were so awesome and Im so glad that they were a part of our day! They were so flexible and willing to roll with the punches, which I so appreciate. For example, the space was a little tight, but they made it work like true professionals.Similarly, after the trial, I knew I was going to look great, but I decided to purchase some hair extensions so we could attempt the hairstyle I really wanted (but that my real hair would never be able to make happen). I wasnt so sure it was going to work since we hadnt used them in the trial and I had just randomly picked up hair extensions (my first ever!) a few days beforehand, but my hair looked amazing!They were so fun to have around as we got ready and I was so happy with how I looked. I couldnt sleep a wink prior to the wedding, but they made me look fantastic and I felt like a million bucks!

Great group of stylists here. Natalie is who I go to and I am never disappointed when I leave. Its a little pricier than most salons in Wilmington but you get what you pay for and it is totally worth it.

Used this salon for my wedding last weekend and was super disappointed. Myself, and two of my bridesmaids had our hair done here. For how much we spent, you’d think that the styles should hold until AT LEAST after pictures. I walked down the aisle with almost every pin falling out, my curls almost completely gone and both my bridesmaids had their hair pretty much down because their pins all fell out as well. By the time we started dancing, my hair was in a ponytail, my one bridesmaids hair was in a pomytail and my mom needed her hair completely taken down and braided. VERY unhappy. The service and ladies were nice, but definitely not worth it.

I have to give a big THANK YOU to Beauty Bar! My make up artist cancelled on me last minute for my wedding celebration party this past weekend. I was so upset! I had never been to Beauty Bar before, but I called and explained my situation. Not only did they get me in, but they got me in for the same time as my original appointment so it didnt interfere with my other scheduled appointments. They saved me! I worked with Shell to book stylists for me and my bridal party. Since they were closed on Sunday they found stylists to work on their day off and on a holiday weekend to come to our house to do our hair. I had a trial with Ramsey so we could get an idea of the overall style I was going for. On the day of we had Ramsey and Natalie come over to do my hair, four bridesmaids and the mother of the bride. Ramsey and Natalie were amazing and such a nice addition to the group at the house that day. Everyones hair turned out absolutely amazing. There were a lot of pinterest pictures floating around and they did a perfect job at capturing what everyone wanted. Ramsey did my bridal hair and it was absolutely perfect. I had so many compliments and it lasted all night long and through some great dancing. I highly recommend Ramsey, Natalie and the team over at Beauty Bar. I made an appointment in advance and was told only to wash my hair and have it cut prior to my appt. The hairstylist informed me he did not have enough time for my haircut, although I had a SCHEDULED appt. I left not angry, but offended and greatly hurt, I nearly cried. My hair is course and thick and I often have hairstylist comment on my thickness of my hair, I know it is a challenge to work with and I am sure he was looking out for me. But I feel like the situation could have been handled better and not so open in front of the entire shop for all the other clients to gawk at me and judge my type of hair.

Please read entire review!Absolutely loved Natalies updo skills both times she did my oldest daughters hair for her wedding...once was a trial run, and the next time was the real thing. She also did an incredible job on my other daughters MOH updo the day of the wedding. Both held up well the entire evening. Maari is also an incredible makeup artist. She did all three of us for the wedding day, and our makeup looked just right all day and evening.I would, however, suggest staying away from Ali for updos. She did the bridal portrait updo, and it looked awful. I even mentioned to her before we left the salon that day that it looked very frizzy. Her response was that my daughter came in with curly hair (which, by the way is true, but Natalies updo didnt have the frizz before!) We couldnt use any of the close up shots, which was very disappointing. She did my hair on the wedding day, and it looked fine when we left the salon. Pins started falling out almost immediately, however, and by the time the wedding rolled around three hours later, we were scrambling to tuck pieces back up. By the end of the evening, it was a mess. After seeing my daughters portrait hair, I requested someone other than Ali to do mine on the wedding day, but she was the only one available. I now wish I had done it myself. That was a lot of money for the result.Other than suggesting not using Ali for updos, I very highly recommend Natalie and Maari.

Knew I should have left once I saw hair dressers scragly fried hair.Girl didnt know how to cut the style I requested but continued to pretend like my final look was what I requested. Wish I could insert photo... Bc my hair was effed up! You sign a waver & says you can come back if unsatisfied with cut... Didnt even want to go back. I have been here twice now. The first time I had Amber and had a very good experience. The second time I went, Amber wasnt available, so I got Krystina. They were both very friendly and Krystina did amazing things for my hair! As someone who generally doesnt make appts, I will definitely be making an appointment to go back to see her!
