My family and I have been at this practice for more than 20 years. I’ve had great experiences and care personally, and for my children with their various childhood through adult issues. Pam Dawson is my primary there and I’ve seen many other doctors and nurse practitioners over the years with excellent results. When needed They have referred my family to appropriate specialists and at follow up appointments were thorough and helpful getting additional support to pinpoint and resolve challenging issues.I am very happy to have such excellent professionals within a 10 minute drive. I highly recommend this practice.

Warm, knowledgeable physicians, nurses and staff.Coming from a culture that primarily only used specialists, I have been impressed and appreciative of their knowledge and care. My child was diagnosed with a rare cancer and our team went the extra mile to make sure that we received the best treatment plan. Now that my children are adults, the local children have chosen to remain with this practice. They too feel comfortable to be honest with their health and appreciate their expertise!

I have nothing but good things to say about this practice. My whole family uses this office for primary care. We have found the office to be well-organized, and our providers to be efficient and professional. My daughter and I see Michele L. -she is thorough, caring and responsive to our medical concerns.

Would not send anyone I cared about to receive medical care here. Most staff members ranging from the front desk to Dr. Trout were cruel, rude and totally incompetent. On top of that, their office looks like a 1970s business park in total disrepair. Cardboard boxes everywhere, chair stacked up in the waiting area. One visit was all it took for me to take my family elsewhere.

Stay away from here if want to stay healthy. This place cares nothing about your personal well being. It’s all referrals and pharmaceuticals. I’ve been a patient here for over four years and I’ve never even had a physical. There copycat drs that go by what other records say. Which we all know are never accurate. Take charge of your own health! Be cautious of polite drs who in turn cause problems and care less behind your back!!!

Shannon Barnes was my doctor at Thomas Chittenden. I was in a bad car accident about a year ago and Shannon knew that…when I went in she asked me nothing about how I’m doing doing mentally and physically or about my recovery, so my parents switched my doctors because they were not impressed. The last time I saw her she came in the room for 5 minutes or less and asked me about medicines for anxiety and depression and my adhd meds. Would not recommend HER as your doctor!

Went to the doctor multiple times in severe pain in my neck, back and arm. I was scared and didn’t know what was wrong with me. I couldn’t sleep, it was almost impossible to work. The doctor did eventual order an xray, that showed nothing wrong. The Dr prescribed an antidepressant, muscle relaxers, NSAIDS, but none of it helped, and I still didn’t know what my problem was. Dealt with this for about 4 months – mainly feeling like I was not credible, and there really was nothing wrong with me, whenever I went in. Eventually went to PT, and they immediately said I have a pinched nerve.7 years later, tweaked my neck, could not move and was in blinding pain, arm was on fire, and my hand and arm went mostly numb. Called Dr office, they called back, but I missed it – called them again and left a voice mail, but they never called me back. Went to the ER, they did an MRI that shows I have a herniated disk in my neck, bone spurs, and stenosis.I’m thankful they didn’t call me back, or I may have been given the run around for months more. I’m not sure if they are too busy to care, or if there are better doctors there, but I have not had good luck….Time to find a new Dr.
