They care about the animals. They did an emergency surgery on my friends dog who had a puppy that couldn’t fit through the canal. My dog goes there and they are kind and caring!

Ive been going to this vet many years. They are very caring and its even in there name! They took great care of my cat when she needed a check up. When I bring my dog to get her nails clipped they always do a great job! I recommend making an appointment though because being a walk in can cause wait time and youll have to be patient. you wont be disappointed! 😁

All the staff members were so great and tried to make everything as easy on us as they could, they knew putting an animal down is very hard on a family but they were very comforting. After putting our dog down the staff went above and beyond, they called right away when they got our dogs ashes back, sent a card in the mail with his paw prints and all the staffed signed the card! Thank you guys for everything!!

Dr. Gerri is very knowledgeable and she really cares about the animals. Pricing is really fair compared to a lot of other places. Another vet had us pretty convinced that we were going to have to let our cat go. She was able to zero in on what was making him sick and had different options for us. We appreciate this clinic so much.

As a new customer, as my original vet closed, new patient for my dogs called, a month and a half before the actiual appoitment date, which puts us at a week before they needed boarded. They are UTD on shots, needed an additional one to board them. They said not a problem, bring in all your additional paperwork of their records, and we can get you in. Less than a week before they need to be boarded, I get a call, we cant give you that shot without a thorough doctor visit. Alright, lets make that appointment, sorry were 2 months out. You need to find another vet.Very rude on the phone, made it into my problem because of their policy they dont even follow. I under stand accidents happen, but they had no sympathy for the situation they put me in.

Arrived before apt time. Waited in a room for 45 min. I took our dog back outside and my spouse waited to talk to the desk person. She was not spoken to and ignored completely. I dont care if they are cheaper than some vets the rudeness is inexcusable. We took our dog to another vet. I dont know why the attitude but we will never take an animal here again.

Easily the best Vet I have seen in Wichita. You do need to be aware that they are VERY busy as many Vet clinics in town have closed. You need to be patient timeframes, trust me it is worth it!! This is a place to establish long term, primary care. This is a family doctor office.Dr Gerri and her staff made my dog ( who has super anxiety from abuse ) feel more comfortable then she has ever been anywhere....they did the same for me to now that I think about. They actually scheduled a call to check on us after a routine visitIn addition to that all my meds are given to me in house. They do offer the option for order online and send to home as well. Also they have their forms on the website so you can fill them out and bring with or email over to them.

Yesterday was a very tough day,. My family had made the decision to have our dog, T-Bone, put to sleep. He had been struggling, and we were trying to allow him to pass naturally at home. We came to the conclusion at 6:00 a.m. I drove to the clinic at 7:30 a.m. and scheduled an appointment for 9:00 a.m. Since I had him in the car, we just waited. He passed in the car at about 8:15 a.m. The clinic was very professional and very kind to me, and it made saying goodbye easer because I felt they loved my boy after 10 years of being his veterinarian clinic.

I am always amazed at how comfortable my dog with a vet phobia is with Dr Gerri. And Dr Gerri is great with my 2 cats too. Her prices are fair and the clinic is not just clean, but sanitary. I highly recommend Caring Hearts Veterinary Clinic.

My pups were in an awful fight, i was in so much shock and wasnt sure what to do. The team at Caring Hearts got me in and were so comforting even though they had a full day of appointments. Thanks to Dr.Geri and everyone at Caring hearts!

The older lady at the front desk is incredibly rude to customers

When I called and made an “appointment” I wasn’t told that it was actually a walk-in. 45 minutes waiting as people piled in, watching the front desk to see the receptionist and several techs without masks, I overheard a receptionist tell a caller they don’t have any actual appointments for over a month. I left immediately.Dr. Gerri might be a good vet, but the clinic is poorly run, low on vet techs, and over all incompetent. Wouldn’t recommend wasting your time to find out if her skills are as lacking as her employees are.

I Love Love Love the way my dogs and I have been cared for here ... for years and years. Dr Frazier has walked us through some very difficult times. The whole staff loved my Katie like she was their own. So sweet So caring. So Patient ! 🥰

I was a little harsh with my other review. Their was a mix up and we were put in the work in schedule. Wasnt 100% their fault. Anyways I was in there for about 2 hours about an hour before they saw us. However, they were very busy and they seemed nice about everything even though I was very testy and maybe rude to them.They are worth trying out for yourself.

The staff is always incredibly pleasant. They work very well with my cats: one of them being very feisty at the vet, and one with severe vet-related anxiety. The staff is also very knowledgeable, and all of the other pet owners who visit seem very happy with the services they provide. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Simply the Best ! from the personable receptionist on down to the highest quality staff. Ive been taking my dogs here for the past 10 years. You can see its not just a job to them. They treat my dogs as if they were their own. They answer all my questions and explain things fully. Love the fact that they take emergency calls after hours. I know when I have to board my dogs, I can leave them with peace of mind. They really put the CARE in Caring Hearts Vet Clinic.

I didn’t even get the opportunity to go to this clinic because of the rudeness of the staff over the phone. Didn’t make me feel welcome or even like I’d want to go back when they’re not so booked. I understand with everything going on it could be very stressful but you don’t have to make the customers over the phone feel like they’re a bother to you. This is your job, you are working it, if you don’t like it or are going to be rude to anyone you have contact with, maybe choose a different career path.

The best vet clinic in Wichita! Their passion for furry beings is clearly shown in their compassion, patience, love and knowledge. This amazing people saved our cat after we were told(in another vet clinic) that he had cancer and needed to be euthanized, when it was only a treatable skin condition. Our experience in this place was simply exceptional. We can not be thankful enough.

I had a very bad experience with another vet office so I was very skeptical about taking my dog to any vet office and I could not find one that I liked. A family friend recommended Caring Hearts and she said that they were kind and very understanding and good with the animals and people. I went there and I was not disappointed! The staff were all very nice to my dog and I and they were very patient with him and they answered any and all questions I had. Their prices are very low and your wait time is not very long. I love this vet office, the staff and the doctors and I will definitely being going back to them for a very long time! :)

Since getting a new puppy Ive made several visits to Caring Hearts for both routine check ups and a sick call and I have no complaints. The staff has been friendly and helpful, and Ive never experienced a long wait. Im vey pleased with the office.

I guess they must have a different receptionist now.....I called to inquire about euthanizing one of our pet chickens, (which would be laughable to some people). The woman who answered the phone was so nice and explained to me the procedure and the pros and cons of it. After speaking to her, I realized that euthanasia by injection would not be the most humane action for my pet. The tried and true old-fashioned farm method is quicker for an animal that you cant find a vein on. Additionally, she shared that someone in her family has pet chickens and that they would feel sad like I did. I really appreciated her empathy. Thanks.

I havent actually scheduled an appointment for my new puppy yet. I called, to check on prices for the visit and the vaccines so Id be sure to bring the correct amount of money; and the woman who answered the phone (who did not provide a name), was incredibly short with me. I was unable to finish any of my sentences, I was unable to completely ask my questions--she continued to cut me off, and speak over me while I was trying to get the information I needed. While the prices that I were given sound great (cheapest so far Ive been told, out of 4 veterinary practices), I will not be taking my pup here. The lack of respect and professionalism over the telephone tells me the lack of both that we will receive in person is going to be worse. A real disappointment.

Ive been taking my dogs to this clinic for a few years and I love them! Ive worked with Dr. Lusk and shes always a pleasure to work with. Shes strait forward yet compassionate. Everyone at the office is friendly, and they do an amazing job of calling to check on my dogs. (after weve been in for a visit.) I Cant say enough great things about them!

I saw this clinic and it is only 3 mins from my house. That is why I tried it. I have owned several dogs over the years, and my lab Dallas is the only one who loves going to the vet! No treats required for him. She is absolutely wonderful with animals of all sizes.

I havent had a bad experience here yet. The staff and vets are caring to my puppy. Our vet even gave us a call a few days after giving my puppy meds to see if he was doing better.

Yes you will have to wait and it may seem like forever, but when you get to see the Doctor, youre not rushed out.. your questions are answered your pets are loved and youre not pushed into buying expensive items that you cant afford and are not really interested in. So be prepared to wait, its worth it in the end! I have been going here for about 10 years or more.

Dr . Gerri Fraizer is the sweetest kindest honest Dr you could ever find. My dog and I both love her and trust her. She really cares about the animals. Her staff is very kind and help with my onrey dog.

Amazing at explaining procedures and tests results and very compassionate. I have gone here for years and had checkups and shots as well as dental cleanings, treatments for ongoing issues with my senior dog and emergency situations and they are always friendly and helpful.

Nice place and wait time was short. My cat needed medicine for a sneeze. His sneeze went away but now he is throwing up and not eating as much. I might have to take him back soon. No pet insurance but prices are fair.

I specifically tried to make an appointment at this vet because they had good reviews online. The lady on the phone told me to just walk in and gave me the hours. I came in, the receptionist was very unprofessional and didnt want to make a chart for my dog. I told her it was fine I wanted him to be seen and checked out and seen by the vet. The lady refused, I asked if theyd tell me how his previous injury is healing, she responded Well hes not seeing a doctor!, rather rudely, and he was brought back out in mere seconds. I wouldnt reccomend this place to anyone just by the staffs rude interactions. It was a total waste of time.

I have been going to Caring Hearts since she opened. Dr Pottoroff owned that building and I had my pets treated by him when he was there so I stayed with them. I was sad to see Dr Pottoroff retire but have been well pleased at the care my dogs have received both vet wise and boarding for my Boxer who has passed and my 9 yr old Beagle that is still with me. I have a new pup (English Bulldog and half Boxer) who will be going there for puppy shots in 2 weeks. I love it that Dr Geri takes her own emergencies till midnight. That is a rare thing with vets. She has always showed care and compassion to my animals and even when I am just boarding she comes out sometimes to say hi and asks how things are going.

I have been to 3 other veterinarian offices and have been disappointed by the way they treated my cat. When I first came to Caring Hearts here in Wichita, I had my doubts but Dr. Gerri Fraizer did a wonderful job with my cat. She paid attention to my concerns, she did what was needed to be done to find and help the problem. But during a different visit, when they took blood from my other cat, she had to be taken in back to be prepped so they could take blood from her neck, she was so scared and I could hear her cries from where they took her in the back, which made my heart sink, when they brought my baby back she was shaking and terrified. I wish they had figured out an easier method to of gotten blood from her. That experience was done by a different veterinarian that worked there at the time though. However, I will consider taking my babies back to Dr. Fraizer, she did a good job handling my cats.

Caring hearts my butt! I had an 18 yr old pekangese mix. She got very sick and we decided it was time to help her to heaven. We are struggling right now with finances and we chose caring hearts cause they were inexpensive and we thought because of the name caring hearts our loved pet would be in good hands. I set the appt but I called several times to ask questions. Every time I called I hoped the man would answer. Never had to euthanize before and we were sick over it. The female secretary or whatever she is was an uncaring uncompassionate most nasty woman Ive ever spoke to in my life. Mitsy was really suffering so I called to ask to get her in the next day nope nothing availableso I asked for the day after nope nothing available so we took Mitsy to the hospital. Told them our story. They were appalled that caring hearts couldnt squeeze her in. They saw how Mitsy was suffering and the hospital gave her the most compassionate Euthanization and did it for free. They gave us a free casket. We were there 2 hours. Thats how much time was spent with us. Caring hearts said 30 min. It was late in afternoon and I tried to get a hold of humane society for cremation but too late so I called caring hearts to see if they could get her picked up. The secretary said you cant do this yourself and was nasty and mean. So I asked to speak with someone else. I told her she was unbearable and has been. She laughed and put me on hold or hung up. I called back and spoke to a man who was caring and compassionate. He said to bring Mitsy but we decided not to because we wanted her remains to be treated with respect. I dont believe Mitsy Euthanization would have been peaceful and pain free at caring hearts due to the experience with the secretary. Well our baby is in heaven and God led us away from caring hearts to the hospital so mitsers would have the very best. Lesson learned about trying to go inexpensive. I sure didnt thing inexpensive would be thoughtless and un caring.Im grateful I never took my Mitsy to caring hearts for vet care. Inexpensive means cheap for a reason. God bless anyone who ever had or has a bad experience with this woman. Maybe caring hearts would be good if the staff was compassionate to everyone. I hope who ever at caring hearts that reads this reprimands this woman so no one else experiences her bad day or bad attitude or completely uncaring heart.

My experience was not 100%, it was okay for beginning shots/exam. Did not continue due to taking my dog several times to get nails trimmed/physical and they cut his nails so short they bled and he seemed uncomfortable.
