I had a toothache emergency last week and a different Perio place couldnt get me in until late in September. So I called the Implant & Perio Center and they were able to get me in the next day. Everyone at this office is so nice and I felt very comfortable. I was so impressed at the fact that they explained everything in detail about the procedure Ill be having. I highly recommend this place.

I found this office by a mailing earlier this year. From the consultation up to dental work, they are fantabulous. Dr. Sam’s and his staff are amazing. They go over and beyond to take care of you and any areas of concern.

Dr. Shanthakumar and his team did a great job with my gum graft surgery. They gave great instructions for aftercare and were very responsive to questions in the following weeks, fitting me into the schedule when I needed to come in. I actually got more root coverage than anticipated, which is never a guarantee but was a great outcome for my procedure! Highly recommend this office for any dental needs.

Dr. Sams and his associates are friendly, prompt, and caring. Directions to prepare for treatment and aftercare are clearly stated and written. Access to aftercare when concerns arise is far and above any dental office Ive encountered. Dr. Sams bedside manner makes the experience pleasant.

Everyone in the staff was friendly and helpful. The hygienist was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything that she felt needed to be done. Her name is Stephanie and her friendly and calm demeanor helped me to relax. Then Dr. Sams came in and introduced himself. He is very warm and friendly and inspired great confidence in me. He also examined my teeth and explained his treatment recommendations. I really liked both Stephanie and Dr. Sams and I have complete confidence in them. After the examination, I was taken into the office where a very friendly woman told me exactly what I the procedures would cost and how the payment could be made. I am very nervous when I have to go to the dentist but everything about my experience there — from the office staff, to Stephanie to Dr. Sams himself — made this experience as pleasant as a dental visit can be. I went to Dr. Sams, to have a tooth removed (1st step in getting an implant). I never had this done, before, so I was nervous and I was concerned about the complications (i.e. existing infection and previous extensive root canal on this same tooth). Dr. Sams and his staff were very informative and it was obvious they were experienced. Upon the proceedure, there was no pain. They took steps to make sure that I was as comfortable as possible. Dr. Sams and his staff are professional, experienced, and exceptional. He and his staff did an excellent job!

Top notch, staff, service, options and professionalism. I have severe anxiety due to the death of a close relative in a Missouri dentists chair in 80s. They accommodate my issues patiently and kindly. They allow me to schedule first appointments of the day when its quieter and theres no other patients. They give choices of nitrous for simple procedures and being put to sleep for more invasive treatments, even I.v. treatment for severe issues.They explain tests, results, options and cost.Were extremely impressed. And Im not easily impressed by dentists. They also call to follow up on how Im doing after my visits.State of the art, top of the line equipment, service and staff. We cant say enough good things about them.

Well if anyone can enjoy going to the dentist this is the place. The staff is so nice. They are friendly and efficient. They make it a calm and relaxing experience. I have anxiety and panic attacks really bad , but havent ever had one during any appointment.

Very nice first visit. Made to feel very comfortable. Gave good explanation of what was going on. I unfortunately have to come back but it wont be a horrible visit.

Dr. Sams was amazing & the office was very professional and friendly as well. The only reason I give this a 4 star rating is that nobody made me aware that my first visit was going to be $142. I have dental benefits, and it wasnt until AFTER my visit was over that I was told that I needed to pay. Yes, Im aware from years in medical myself that I as a patient am responsible for my benefits. But knowing that dental benefits can be a bit different and knowing this was my first time it would have been helpful to have that told to me up front rather than in fine print somewhere or at the very end of my visit. It doesnt take away from Dr. Sams and he is/was every bit worth it.

I always have a good experience at IPC of Wichita. The. Doctor and staff are very friendly and accommodating. I have been coming to them for the past 3 years.

Every single staff member I talked to during my consultation was very friendly and helpful! Dr. Shanthakumar was the greatest! He explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions! They are the first dental clinic I don’t have anxiety about going back!

First, the staff is very friendly and observes covid safety measures. Also the work i had done, a post for an implant was as comfortable as that procedure could be. But most impressive was their desire to correct an unfortunate situation with my insurance.There was some missed communication with the insurance company and Implant & Perio Center went above and beyond to right the situation. I will definitely return for future needs.

Everything went better than I expected

When I recently had a tooth break off, the only Periodontist I would go to for an implant is Dr. Marc Sams. He had done several implants for me over the years. I was extremely happy with the results. This was my first time at his new office. His new office is beautiful and of course has the latest equipment. Everyone of his staff was very friendly & helpful. It was totally a pleasant experience. I highly recommend Dr. Sams to anyone needing an implant. He is totally awesome.

I found my experience with placement of 2 implants with a bone graft was very good. The sound of the procedure was overwhelming. After it was completed it was much easier than a root canal. If you need an implant to replace a tooth, I recommend this dental provider . He and his staff are very supportive before and during the procedure.

Came here for a dental implant on a front tooth and that procedure went very well and I healed up to the point that I barely notice I even had a procedure done, and the temporary crown I ended up with looks real enough (and has fooled people into thinking it was my permanent crown, but Ive got to go back to my dentist for that). I knew what was going on for the entire process and would definitely recommend Dr. Sams and his entire team for any procedures based on my experience.

The experience yesterday with Dr. Sams was with me-- Judy Mullen (not with my husband, Jim Mullen).Dr. Sams had to prepare my gums for the near-term (4-monthsfrom now) replacement and implantation of a incisor tooth and a molar tooth-- two adjacent teeth on the bottom left side of my mouth.The procedure yesterday morning went very well, in my opinion, and compared to any past experience Ive had... and Ive had a lot of dental experience (Im 70 years old).Its now the day-after the treatment. Ive experienced no pain nor any adverse result of the process. I am quite pleased and rate Dr. Sams ability at the top-of-my-list of lifetime dental work. Thank you Dr. Sams.

I have a 5 year history with Dr. Sam and staff - they are wonderful and would not think of going anywhere else. I needed several implants due to a bad infection, the procedure was flawless. Dr. Sam is a great periodontist, he explains everything so you can easily understand and thoroughly answers any questions you might have. One more added note: he has the most wonderful smile and laugh.

Staff was extremely cordial and efficient. Very relaxed atmosphere. Doctor was not eager to get after it. He asked for more time to study my situation and come up with the correct solution.

My 99 year old father and I go every six months for cleaning and checkups. Our hygienists are wonderful...thorough, respectful and considerate. He takes the time to review our xrays and tooth concerns. He never looks to incur unnecessary costs. He provides advice based on his expert opinion and the possible need for more dental work. Very friendly staff but I felt unclear at times about the work being done unless I asked. Could have communicated more. Had some trouble with an implant but Dr. Samms took time to make it right. They were concerned about making the work be pain free and did a good job with this.
