If I could put zero stars I would. This is how my friends hair turned out versus how she wanted it. And they offered her to come back a WEEK later. So I had to fix it for her because she was not comfortable going back. She trusted them with her hair and had to walk around like this until she finally just wanted me to do it.

I went in for a consultation (totally free btw) and talked to Danni about what I was wanting. Made a last minute change to what I wanted and I couldnt have had a better experience. I highly recommend this salon as they offer not only cuts and styles for the whole family, but also other services as well. They offer a huge selection of colors to choose from and the stylist I had was awesome and made me feel comfortable. BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!

I may be a little biassed on this review as my son owns this salon. But, the pictures speak for themselves as to how great he and the stylist are there. If youre in or near Wichita Kansas and need to add some style to your life, J Gilman salon is the place to go!!!

I see Hannah for my eyelash lifts and love the results. She is very sweet and always takes excellent care of her clients. My lashes stay curled for 6 weeks!! If you’ve never tried an eyelash lift - ditch that eyelash curler and see Hannah!

This hair salon sure does give ya everything you ask for. My hair stylist was Justin & he is great. Listened to me, stays professional & gives off a Home feeling during your stay. We have been going to Marissa for our family styling needs. Our son has ADHD and it is very difficult to get him to hold still and she does an amazing job being patient with him and always does such a great job! The atmosphere is always friendly and relaxing!

This will be my forever go to spot. Not only did my hair turn out better than I couldve imagined but the atmosphere was a pleasure too. I had Danni as my stylist and she slayed the purple look I wanted. Danni was always making sure I was comfortable as she was doing my hair from a full bleach out, to the rinsing, to the coloring process and the styling. She was a delight to be around and talk to while she did my hair. Ive never been to a professional except to get a quick trim here and there, but from now on I will always go here cause it was worth ever penny. I am so in love with my hair, something I havent been for a long time 6+ months I hadnt been able to add color to my hair for a while and I had added blue (tanzanite) and purple to my hair over time its washed out and faded to this ugly green color and even with washing constantly and it wouldnt go away but Danni fixed that for me today

Best pedicure of my life with Nick. My man hooves are now nice soft feet. It had been a long time (years) since my last pedicure. I will definitely be coming back.

I came in at the last second needing a 1890s type updo and only had half an hour. Justin Gilman was not only able to accommodate me at extremely short notice (I called and was in the door maybe 5 minutes later), but then he was able to exceed my expectations by giving me an amazing hair style and doing it only 20 minutes giving me plenty of time to get to where I needed to be! I immediately booked a cut with him and look forward to being a regular customer!

Danni Kanady is my stylistae. She is very professional and skillful. She is also a down-to-earth friendly person. I normally dont have the same style of haircut when I visit her. Ill show her what style I want via google pic search, and she gets it right every time. The best part is the scalp massages that you get along with your haircut. She gives the best scalp massages!The place is well kept, bright atmosphere, and filled with wonderful local art! Its quite hip and cool even for this old man. ;)As a US Navy veteran, I do highly recommend this place because they do offer military discounts for active duty and veterans.

So Im bipolar and currently manic. I had this BRILLIANT idea to bleach and colour my own locks. Saves money and I can get a hot new look, right? Im thinking a Billie Elish moment. Neon green and dark brown. Fire. Well I got fire allright, my hair melted off. Thats right, it was melting off. So I stick my head in the tub of cold water to halt the activation process. Too late. Now instead of Billie, Ive got a manic Brittany look. Not cute at all and too close a parallel to my curent mood. I called this salon and they welcomed me in just as I was in that very horrible moment of life. A kind man called Nick was so willing to help me and cradle my fried ego and did everything in his power to help heal my locks and my soul. He didnt even get frustrated with my tears. He didnt mind that I talked about and compared him to Brad Mondo the entire time. He was patient and kind and truly went out of his way to heal my hair and my heart. Nick has my hair business for life as long as we remain in the same town.

I wanted to share how much I appreciate Paige! I have come in to see her a few times now and always enjoy her work. I am very pleased with how I look after I leave and I receive plenty of compliments on my hair. Thank you Paige! Youre awesome!

I went in a few weeks ago to have my hair cut. I walked out with two different hair cuts in each side of my head. One side is a blended Bob and the other side it shorter and straight all the way to the front then there is a drop off so the front would appear longer to match the other side. The gal doing my hair (Paige) was explaining to me while cutting my hair that one side will be longer than the other side based on my part. What I didnt mention was that I went to hair school and know how to check a haircut. I came home and washed and straightened my hair and cried because it was so terrible. The only way to fix it would be to cut it even shorter and she had already took off more hair than I asked. She didnt seem confident the whole time she was doing my hair. Even when shampooing she only washed the top of my head. Im extremely disappointed. I still tipped her well because thats who I am. But I will never be returning there.

I called at 2:00 hoping for a late color appointment the same day because I was driving into town and had to leave the next for a class reunion. Not only did they fit me in, but while I was there I was able to get my nails done and my brows waxed! The results were amazing! My stylist Cami was great! She listened to what I wanted, and gave valuable input and totally delivered above and beyond my expectations! I have find my new local one stop salon!

I recently moved to Wichita and was really nervous about finding a great place for highlights and a cut, Ive had some bad experiences in the past and Im pretty particular about my hair. If I could give this place zero stars I would. NEVER go here to get any kind of wax. I went to try out their new sugaring technique and it was the worst experience Ive ever had. While the girl was waxing me I flinched and she said what are you one of those girls who cant rip off her own band aids? I was furious. She did a terrible job the first time and then tried to charge me $65 for the worst wax job ever. When I insisted she try again, the owner was rude and said that I dont know my own body should look like after a wax and she does. I made the girl try again and she took out all her anger on me. I was bruised black and blue for the next week. I repeat NEVER go here for any kind of wax unless you want bruises, a half way done job and to waste $65.

Got a good haircut here. Place is clean. Seems professional, but not uninviting like the uber-pro salons. Sushi next door and a bunch of restaurants, and boutiques around it, and bars down the street. Make an afternoon of it.

My Daughter went to this place, spent her own hard earned money. She went in to get the new grey look only to come out with blonde hair. She tried to be nice and call to go back in so that they could fix their wrong doing. The out come, they want her to pay them more to fix what they were to do in the first place....What ever happen to fixing what was wrong.. I have a right as a parent to take them to small claims court just to make a point. Still thinking about it!!!

When I walked in, the salon was empty. After 5:30 pm, when most people get off work and get a cut. Literally there was one stylist and one receptionist. Not one customer came in or called the whole time I was there. That was my first sign. I got the worst haircut Ive ever had. I showed the girl a picture and she still screwed it up. She basically just cut a few inches off the length straight across. No skill involved, and it still looks horrible. I asked her to fix a few things and she didnt seem to understand what I was asking. I was supposed to get a cut, dry, and style, but she didnt even fully dry my hair! So my hair was jagged blunt cut (opposite of what I asked for), and the front was smooth and the back was wavy because it was still wet. How is that a style?? I wanted the ends to be cut so they lay inward and she cut/styled it so it flipped out.Then, the girl that cut my hair checked me out! That made it EXTREMELY awkward since she had to ask me how much I wanted to tip her. There was another person there, no excuse to make the stylist ring me out. I felt uncomfortable the entire time.Honestly, I think I could have let my husband whack at my hair with some gardening shears and it would look better. I cannot believe I paid $50 to look bushwacked. I am going to pay full price for another haircut at a different salon to get this one fixed because I will NEVER step foot in Salon Teased ever again.

Literally the worst hair cut I have had. I saw Taryn (sp?) for a standard mens haircut. I explained to her how I wanted my hair cut and what I got resulted in a week of being teased at work by customers and coworkers about my terrible haircut. About halfway through the haircut she said something to the effect of uh oh, at that point I knew it was not going to be good.I ended up going to a regular (cheap) barber a week later who did a great job in fixing my haircut. The barber commented on how uneven my hair had been cut by Taryn and that it looked like she had started my haircut and then just quit about halfway through. The barber who charged HALF of what Salon Teased charges ($20+) spent more time on my hair and made sure that I got the haircut I wanted.I will never return to salon teased. First there is the upsell of trying to sell you a shampoo (even though I had just showered and washed my hair), followed by a bad hair cut, followed by the rinse, then comes the ridiculous vibrator massage thing. She seemed pained to do the massage thing (which I didnt want in the first place).Perhaps another stylist there would do a better job, but I will not be going back to find out.

Long story short, i had color done, it was supposed to be blonde, it came out silver...I was so upset and crying, I called the owner and she had another girl correct it. free. she made it right, I appreciate that. now its blonde and Im happy. it was an inconvenience to have to go back but its corrected now. I may or may not be back. havnt decided yet.
