Very seldom do I take time to review any place but I want to review Salon 535 & Cheyenne . I have never been able to find a stylist I liked who stayed any place long enough for me to utilize regularly. . Well, I can honestly say that after my first visit I will be returning every 6-8 to weeks get my hair done and I am still extremely pleased with my cut!! Im also excited because now I have a place I can have a day of relaxation with a facial, pedicure and get my hair done all at the same time ! If you are hesitant don’t be I recommend Cheyenne to anyone and everyone

Heather has been cutting my hair for several years. My wife and two kids also get their hair taken care of here. Having a place that the whole family can go to and get great service is awesome. The location in the Delano District is really convenient, no too far east or west. If you have trouble parking on Douglas, there are usually plenty of spaces in the back lot, right near the rear entrance. They keep a clean, trendy shop.

This is the only place I get my hair cut and colored. Stacey always does an AWESOME job. I have went here for 20 some years. Love shopping their jewelry and hair care items too!!

I have been a customer of Stacy Floyds for over 25 years and have always had great, great service as well as always being extremely happy with the haircut Ive received! If anyone has not tried this Salon, I would doubly highly recommend it - you will not find happiness anywhere else in Wichita! It is located in the old Travel Air building in Delano, right after you cross the bridge/river. It sits on the south side of the street, right next to the rental car agency - Go See Them! I used to get my haircuts through Stacey for many years when I lived in Wichita. 8 years ago I moved to another state but moved back to Wichita not long ago. Stacey was always great and so I made a call to set up a haircut appt. The women who answered the phone was very short with me and seemed put out when I asked if a she had any openings on Saturday and when she didnt I asked for the following Saturday. I dont mind waiting for an opening but when it seems like an inconvenience for you to simply help I am no longer interested. Sorry Stacey! Will definitely miss your haircuts!

I have been going to this salon for almost 4 years. They are all friendly and even special order hair products for me. My cosmetologist is Heather and she is the best at what she does. She is the only person I would trust to cut off my curly hair when I wanted to go short.

I have been getting my hair colored & cut at this salon every 4-5 weeks for the past several years. Heather does a fantastic job and I consider her a good friend! The salon keeps up with the latest training seminars and is always decorated beautifully. They also do manicures, pedicures & waxing.

I really hate to do this because they were so very nice, but it was a terrible manicure. No cuticle work at all except for a little drop of oil. They were not filed evenly. No hand massage. You could see my nail through the polish on two of my fingers. I even asked where she went to school, hoping to hear that she was a brand new graduate... but she wasnt.

I came in for a spa pedicure for my birthday as a gift from my boyfriend.The salon itself was absolutely beautiful, and had a very peaceful vibe, as well as being very clean. The color scheme was great, and I knew as soon as I walked in that I would have a great experience. The pedicure chairs and tubs were super nice, and the tools used had disposable parts, once again showing me how important cleanliness was to this salon.Rhen was very kind, and did a fantastic job on my pedicure. She offered me a drink, which I gladly accepted, and led me back to the chairs. After I picked out my polish, Rhen made sure the water was the perfect temperature for me. While I soaked, she ran off to do a quick eyebrow wax. I figured out where the remote to control the massage feature of the chair, and sat back and enjoyed.The exfoliation process is usually hard for me, as I am extremely ticklish and braced myself to resist, but Rhen made sure to do it in such a way as to not torture me as much as others at other salons have in the past. I think the tool she was using helped as well, as it was not tearing at my skin, just rubbing off the dead skin on top. I include this in case someone else has similar concerns.Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my experience and I hope to return soon for other services offered.

Absolutely love Salon 5 Thirty 5! Incredibly talented. I have been going for years. They all did my hair and make up for my wedding as well almosy 5 years ago. Heather is the best. Must try!

Great atmosphere, but nail tech just went through the motions and I would not return.My sister took me for a pedicure for my birthday. We went together - she had the main nail tech and I had another. My tech was not very good and neither was the pedicure. She ran the file over my heel just barely touching the skin which meant she didnt remove any callus. Same with the massage. She was more touching me than giving a massage.When she removed my old red polish, she didnt buff the nail to get the old color off or smooth it before applying new. The entire experience was over in about 45 minutes, while my sisters was more than an hour, while the obvious difference in experience was startling.My sisters tech was chatty and friendly which compensated for my tech. About the only thing she wanted to do, was talk about how she wanted to leave and wished she was still on vacation. Then she started talking about the possibility of leaving work early. While I understand the sentiment, it doesnt make for a good customer experience.The facility was well maintained and charming. Most implements were either new or disposable. While they have massage chairs at this salon, they are only okay.There are enough nail salons in the area that I wont go back and would not recommend. Maybe with another tech, but I dont want a hit-or-miss situation.

I normally have terrible anxiety going into nail salons because Im not a girly girl. But this place was phenomenal!!! I felt instantly comfortable and Rhen did an amazing job. I would recommend this place a thousand times over.

On the 20th of July, I popped acrylic.There was zero contact with the nail bed, it was hanging on by the nail length.5 thirty 5 could get me in in less than 45 minutes!My nail tech, Teresa came out with foils in her hair.(my sculpted acrylics are buffed French manicure)She told me she was going to use a cloudy clear. During our conversation, I learned she had pink powder but, because the intensity varied a according to manufacture, I was getting clear.She inspected my other nails and become gruff when I repeated, I only wanted one nail repaired.She offered buffing powder and polish to emulate the sheen of the other nails.She attempted to attach a buffing bit to the drill, put it back in its case and said she couldnt do anymore for me.I had to ask where the hand washing station was.She didnt know the cost of a repair.She was getting her hair washed as I left.I wish I could show you the fungus, today, 28 July 2018.

I had seen this place from a friend that showed a social media post on the Wichita Facebook account about how happy she was with it. So, I decided to give it a go, and can say that I had a great experience and was able to pick up some of my favorite lotion HEMPZ! woohoo

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Went in with a picture of what I wanted (which is brown on top red on the ends) an walked out with orange hair. So I went back cause they offered to fix it, but the second time I explained 50 times how I wanted brown on top and red on bottom) they colored it red ALL OVER. An they argued with me for 20 minutes trying to convince me that I was wrong for not liking my hair. And the manager did NOTHING to fix the issue. I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere cause you never know what you will get walking out of this salon. NO STARS FOR ME
