I was so impressed with this salon. Everyone was nice and quick to help. My nails were done beautifully. The lady who did them was nice and very sweet. Taking off my old nails she told me to tell her if it hurt. She was sincere in making me comfortable. I’ve been to other places and this wasn’t the case. Also she took care in giving me the nails I wanted by shaping them various times to get them just the right Shape. I’m looking forward to my next visit already!

The customer service was great. I walked in with my mom, grandma, and sister all without an appointment and they attended us right away. My nails look great! And we were all happy except for my grandma who wasn’t completely satisfied. But overall great!

Got my nails done here and they messed up and the powder started literally peeling off. Went the next day to get them fixed. Just 4 nails. And said it’d be 2 hours. Like what…. No

Pictures 2-6 are from my visit yesterday ( 11-21-20)... My nails are fine, I love how they came out!. Best place to go get Dip ( which is the only thing I get now).. Now my pedicure on the other hand was not such a great turn out!.. my big is still very sore today!.. I also feel like I was over charged for everything I got done!.. I didnt want to say anything, I didnt want to argue with anyone, Tommy is a nice person and has such wonderful nice staff!. I was already tired, it was getting kind of late, and I had already been their 3 and half hours...

Walked in Sunday afternoon to bring my mom & I to treat our selves, we are both Hispanic we were greeted nicely & were told there were 2 people ahead of us so we sat down to wait. 2 Caucasian ladies walked in after us and asked if there was any spots left due to them not having appointments set up & were told that there were 4 people ahead of them that there would be a longer wait for them they sat down and waited as well. As my mom & I waited for about 30min they sat her down for her mani & pedi. I was told I still had to wait due to there being only one person left ahead of me to finish up. As I waited I noticed the main guy being the 2 ladies that had walked in AFTER us being brought up before me they sat them down & started working on them FIRST. I asked them why if I was there first the owner proceeded to lie to me & say that they had set up appointments after I had just heard them clearly state they had NO appointment made. At that point I was already a little upset. I proceeded to wait for them to do full sets on the 2 ladies that had walked in AFTER me. He finally got to me & started working on my full set. He started tugging & pulling my hand harder than usual. I told him if he could please not handle me that way & be a little more gentle he grunted. I noticed him rushing through my work & definitely not taking his time or patience to properly work on my nails. As he’s working on my nails I notice he’s not doing them evenly I ask him if he can do the lines more evenly & he began talking in his language I don’t know what was said. He started doing the lines on my nails & I noticed they weren’t even I asked him if he could make them more even & said okay after grunting. This was my end result in my opinion it was not worth the hour & a half I waited, having been put to the side after having gotten there first & respectfully waited. I left feeling offended & was definitely not worth the $50 I payed for or the hour and a half I had to wait. Will not be coming back. Overall sloppy & rushed work was not worth my time.

Did a lovely job on our nails. Friendly staff, could see cleaning and attention to to sanitation at every step. Few previous customers came through trying to cause ruckus and quickly exited when they werent able to get their way. Lovely to see management stick up for employees.Both techs were kind and did excellent jobs!

My technician went wayyyy too fast.. to the point where I had to tell her to redo some areas. She also used a sharp tool to get my ingrown nail on the sides. I bled a lot and the pain was severe. When I woke up today I knew that the tools she used were not clean and caused an infection. Be careful with this place!

Its been a very long time since I visited. This was a last minute thing and 30min before they closed and they still took care of me and my friend. So grateful and my nails look Amazing!!

I typically dont write on these but I went in here because I had a gift certificate from Christmas I needed to use. I called and told them what time I was planning on coming. The owner said that was no problem. I got there...and I waited almost an hour before they even set me in a chair to remove previous dip from nails. The finished product was AWFUL! It was bubbled up on my middle fingers and looked awful but didnt want to waste anymore time. I will not be back there.

They are very nice people. They have a great selection of pedicure types. They also do wonderful nail sets.

This was the first time visiting this nail salon and I has Julie as my nail tech. She was very nice but I dont think doing nails is her calling. She over used the drill causing soreness in several of my nails. She apologized several times for hurting me with the drill. She over applied the acrylic by applying several coats for just a fill. It took an hour, for a fill. My nails are uneven, the acrylic is hanging over the sides on some nails and almost every nail is well over my cuticle. Every nail is lifting after one day. Too scared to go back to get them fixed for fear of causing further damage to my natural nails. Very disappointed.

They were nice just took there time almost as if they didn’t care they don’t charge based off of the prices listed they charge as they want.

I love this place, I had no idea what I wanted because I honestly never get my nails done and not only did they give me an amazing design off of just a few ideas but the lady was actually excited about it. Loan tran is an amazing designer and was super willing to help me even after I broke one of her pretty nails.

My first time going there and did not have a very good experience. The staff was not very nice and they charged extra for everything.

Took a long time but nail tech did a fantastic job!

They were quick and efficient. They take your temperature at the door. Also you fill in a form with your information for which I can only assume is there way of contact tracing, considering the state of things. There is even a divider between you and the nail tech.

They charged me extra for every little thing, my nails and my friends nails were identical but charged $10 more for hers. My nails weren’t done correctly either. Probably won’t be back.

Busy place, efficient service, relaxed atmosphere. A little crowded with all the work stations, pedi stati9ns, and people but the windows help to alleviate that a little.I would go back again.Edit:12-30-18 came back again. Was going to redo the dip on my nails but after soaking dip off my nails were so thin she recommended I fill and then put my color over which I did.Edit 12-31-18 Less than 24 hrs later 3 of my nails have chipped SHELLAC polish. Wasnt buliding a house or gardening, just doing laundry and playing pictionary. See picture.Very disappointed! Had I gone with the Dip I would have paid less and this wouldnt have happened.I wont be going back to have fixed because while I was getting my nails done, another customer came to have 1 nail fixed from previous day and was still there when i left an HOUR later.Wont be going back. Taking my money, along with sizeable tips elsewhere.

Lovely! I’ve been looking for a nail salon since I moved to Wichita and finally found one I’ll keep. The salon uses DND polish—in the review I’m wearing #595, Velvet Cream. I like to keep shorter, naturally shaped acrylics and Amazing Salon heard me out. I came in for a refill after using a couple lackluster salons. The technician at AS did a great job reshaping and fixing my nails. She paid great attention to me and took her time applying my polish. She did a great job cleaning up my cuticles afterwards, which is often overlooked with acrylics. All together, the fill with gel polish cost $25–a great price!

Waited over an hour today they had open seats but just stared at me . Horrible service, another time got a nail tech the one with the glasses very rude horrible shape wasn’t even a shape. I use to get good service there but not anymore just lost a good customer.

Kind staff, sanitary practices, and overall a good experience. I only got a pedicure but I loved the massage chairs. I was really able to relax!

The guy rushed and when I asked him to correct he had a attitude.

My friend and i came in to get a full set and pedicures. they sat us down at the pedicure stations and we sat there for an hour and a half+ before someone even came to us. they started our toes at the exact same time, we got the exact same thing, and my friends took an hour longer than mine. i asked for a black sharp pointed tip, and showed her the length i wanted (which was pretty long). another two hours later and my nails were done. NOTHING like i wanted. she gave me a short short length, black, and a soft almond shape. my friends were also waaaay too short and not the shape she wanted. they charged us for the shape and length we asked for but not what we got.

They need more people working there

I really want to like this place. Good value and quality. But always there for like 2 hours to get a pedi. Even when I call to make appointment. You get there and they put you in a chair and you sit for 30-40 minutes before they even start

This was the worst experience of My life at this place color cahge and 3 nails repair and I waited a hour and a half to even get in a chair then this dummy dude named Tommy was ruff and lazy I hated ever minute of my experience this is 100% the worst nail salon in the world!

I have the WORST experience. Make appointment and when I got there Im sitting for 10 minutes. 3 girls come in to get their nails done and he immediately seats them at stations totally ignoring me. Last time. Never again! Or getting a pedicure and they sit you in a chair and have to have hot water added twice.

Have tried many and I mean MANY nail salons and this was my 2nd time being back here LE did an absolutely phenomenal job on my pedicure and overlay I have never left a nail salon as happy as I did today my feet and fingers look absolutely amazing and her attention to detail was flawless! I honestly dont understand all the bad reviews because my nail tech went above and beyond and I am over the moon about my experience today! Will see be going back every single time!!

I loveee my nails !! they are so cute! but my 3 of my nails were filed so much to the point of bleeding.. it’s been a few hours and it’s the worst pain in the world and swelling :( i love this place but my toe nails were cut so short then filed i was literally tearing up in pain and she kept going, then same with my nails, even worse.

Great big location awesome service and prices will be back had manicure and pedicure. Was nice to be pampered without breaking the bank

My nails only lasted 2 days, by the end the pain was gone on all but one. Staff didnt understand enough English for me to get what I really wanted since they didnt understand my explanation due to lack of English vocabulary.

UPDATEThe owner told me he would give me a refund for my poorly done nails IF I took down my review. I refused.Very disappointed. I was in and out in less than ten minutes including the hand massage. The nail buffer was very used/old/gross. I asked for round and got something between round and square with uneven edges. I dont recall alcohol being used to get the dirt up. I have a lot of skin chunks left over. I said something to the lady at the register and they filed my nails round as I was standing there at the register. I got an apology, but I felt like I was at a nail school. My cuticles were pretty bad going in... So I dont know why it was so rush when they werent busy (3pm on a Monday). Bummed :(

This has ALWAYS been my preferred nail salon in Wichita. I went to one other in Wichita with a friend once and it didnt compare. Ive only been to Amazing Salon since. I get a pedicure every few months to keep my feet healthy and to keep ingrown toenails at bay. The staff is always kind and has learned my name, even though I am not there as often as I want to be (groceries for 4 growing kids takes precedent over my toes!). Also, getting my feet done at Amazing Salon NEVER HURTS, which is something I cannot say for other salons Ive gone to for pedicures in other towns.

Le was amazing and was very nice, I am so happy with my nails!

So we make an appointment for 4 pedicures, 2 manicures and 2 full sets since two of the four people going were kids. Our pedicures went fine, however the two little girls only got their fingers painted and not a full manicure. When it was time for my full set, the tech asked me how long I wanted them and I said short. I then had to ask her 4 different times to cut them down more and she never did. My paint then had bubbles, uneven lines, my nails werent even or smooth, overall the worst acrylics Ive ever had.

Called ahead, actually, all over town and discovered they were one of two nail salons able to do white & pink powder, forms not tips.Went in for fills (had a broken nail, hence forms) and was told I needed a full set. Went home, soaked them off, broke 4 more nails, went back, tried again.Only the owner can do the forms, Come back @ 3. Negotiated to 2 (have to get the kid @ 4). Left @ 4, returned & spent another hour having my nails done.Sculpted nails are hard. No one does sculptured nails. Tips are better, stronger. Im doing my best. They take a long time because youve to build the nail. Sculpted nails break easier than tips. Im never doing sculptured nails again. Youre sensitive, Im not touching your skin, its just friction ( Beginning to get an idea of my experience?)6yo son saw the kids pedicure chair. OK, give him one, with red polish.They mocked a 6yo by calling him HER and asking if She also wanted polish on Her fingers. No, my Son, a Boy, wants red polish on His toes, only.She wants polish, haha!No, He wants polish.Haha!He sized my nails by comparing left to right and declared them even, which they were, if I never held 5 fingers on the same hand next to one another.Theyre narrow coffins, so narrow, one broke when I returned to the salon (but thats somehow my fault). Theyre filed unevenly in that one side is more narrow than the other on the same nail.Theres still acrylic around my cuticles. My natural nails have been filed off.3 fingers are bloody.I was never offered polish, even when I was looking at polish.If this is the best salon in Wichita, I guess Ill look to other cities for my needs.

I love my nails!!! Only issue was an older man did my friends and he was very rude about her only wanting a basic full set for 20$. I know she wont ever return an honestly I may not either. Was not accepted to me at all

Dont ever let the do an ombre on your nails you know where it Fades lighter to darker or the opposite. Just for yourself and your nails because itll look nothing like what you want. Guy was very very nice just very distracted with everybody else. Nails were not even match up on length. I could go on. I mean you got a 50-50 chance of actually getting your nails done right

I have always gone to this salon and not had too many issues. Today I came in and the staff was rushing. My nails was cut so far down that my nail started to bleed. The staff would not offer a discount and I had to repeatedly tell them not to use the file over my wound. I will not be going back to this salon. I will also be contacting the board of cosmetology

5 of my nails broke off not even an hour after leaving. When i came back the owner blamed me for them falling off and while he looked at the he broke another 2. When he fixed them he rushed and was being very aggressive. Would not recommend.

I started coming here because the nail shop I used to go to never had an open chair. I am now so glad I come here. There is always an open spot and every nail tech is amazingly talented. I dont have to pick a favorite bevause they all know how to get down on nails and toes. Also waxing. They take pride on their work and I havent been disappointed yet.

I love qyuen. She is so funny and both my grandma and mom love her. She does amazing pedicures. And everyone else is very good workers

Amazing salon is horrible they never focus on their client they have always something else to do like text while in front of you nothing is Sanitize I went to get my toes done keep in mind my first time ever doing my toes and they became yellow and they my actual toe nail is now cracked . Definitely never going there . Amidon nails had to fix what they missed up and I’m grateful for them other than that never go to amazing salon

Amazing Salon is where I go get my feet my nails and my eyebrows done all in one building nice people relaxing atmosphere but they are busy because they are one of the best salons in town so make your appointment try not to go on the weekends and enjoy yourself

OGosh!! I should have done this YEARS ago! Tommy and his staff, all of them, are simply incredible. So friendly, so experienced and so very much caring about the experience a client has. I had taken my daughter, granddaughters and, of course, myself there for pedis and for nails for years before I moved. Ive recently moved back to the area and look so forward to my first return appointment at Amazing Salon. OMGosh!! So looking forward.Going tomorrow, 8/18/18, for the first time since I moved. Very much looking forward to seeing Tommy and the staff. They are all great; I do not understand the negative reviews; I have NEVER experienced what they describe. I had one bad polish, one time and it was repaired at no charge immediately. I have literally spent hundreds of dollars and hours and hours of time with myself, my daughter and my granddaughters at Amazing Salon and do not regret a dollar or a moment!

Service began slow until I said I was going to leave. Then the male manager-owner rushed over when I was going to leave and started on me But became angry Because I chose not to get the shilac. In the middle of my medicure he walked off without a word. Started talking about me in his native language then a young lady took over. He was very unprofessional. I have been coming here for years and in that time I see that black and white customers are treated completely different...needless to say I will be looking for and alternative place to go.

I just had a pretty bad experience here today. I came in and had to wait 4 minutes before anyone actually acknowledged my presence. 908 get in the chair. I had two broken nails. Instead of using the drill to remove the remaining pieces the girl used another nail to try to remove them. I asked her to use the drill for a quicker process and she insisted it would be easier with the other nail. About 15 mins into the process another walk in client came in asking for a manicure. They asked me to move to the next seat to finish her first. I said I have been here and that isn’t right. Tommy the owner then is like your nail needs to soak. The girl fixing my nails could tell I was bothered so she came back by and told me to come back so she could finish with the drill. Tommy then comes over and apologized to the girl who walked in AFTER ME for having to wait!!! Then said nothing else to me! I get finished at 953am, so nearly 45 mins to repair two nails!I know good customer service and also that my money spends the same as everyone else’s. This visit was a thumbs down in my book!

Had an appointment at 3p and finally left after waiting for 30 minutes. I wanted to try out a place closer to my house but I guess I’ll continue to drive out west.

The whole building smelled like feet. Do not let Julie touch your nails. She messed my nails up so bad. Not even a full day after I got my nails done, the pinky nail fell off. My nails were left bumpy and she left nail polish on my skin. Absolutely terrible!

Tommy was Great! They werent even open today but he took me in anyway! Very satified with my pedi, Ill be going back regularly thats for sure! 😍

Juno was very nice but did not like my hair and went back a few days later for more blonde thinking it would be corrected. Still not platinum it was more of a brassy color and 1/2 gap all over my head. Very noticeable. Now calling back to see if I can get my money back I was told no and that I should have asked for toner. I have been blonde ever since I started coloring my hair and I have never in my life ever asked for toner its always been a given when going blonde but Okk. Wont be going back. Have another lady who I found who corrected it and without asking again PUT TONER ON.

Ive had horrible experiences every time ive gone here, everytime they just rush their way though, paint is always sloppy and bubbly and turns dark after a few day and they never listen to what you ask for. This last time was by far my worst visit, i only went back because i had to get a mani/pedi for my Baby shower that day. Tommy rushed the whole time, was so focused on getting on to the next person. Cut three of my toes, paint looks horrible, then i said i wanted pink nails with white accents and he gave me a french tip, with pink acrylic. Wasnt done at all how i asked for, i even tried to correct him and he completely blew off what i said, i was so upset! I will definitely never recommend this place to anyone!

They didnt do my shape right, nor were they nice when I asked them to fix my very CROOKED nails. He missed spots while painting, and then tried to charge me 35 dollars when I never asked for chellac. Very rude and did not take any time to make them look okay. I tried to give this salon another chance after already being disappointed the first time, but I will not be going back.

After i told girl exactly what i wanted, just started cutting my nails for tips. Did not want tips..Wont be back, ever
