Having worked at this location I have found a staff that sincerely cares about the residents. I have been in other facilities and did not see the same kind of caring. The med aides and CNAs are a great team and are very dedicated to their jobs. The building is fantastic and comfortable. Dont hesitate to look at Avita if you are looking for a place for self or loved one.

The Avita Assisted Living Facility is wonderful---the nurses, staff and management are kind, professional and caring. They take special care of my uncle and his service dog and always contact me if there is anything I need to know or do for either of them. I am so glad we found Avita to take care of my uncle, they are invaluable for his health and well-being. Thank you!

Very frustrating how they have handled patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. They charged each resident $500 if they visit family over Christmas. They told us this was to discourage families from visiting their relatives and exposing them to covid. The most frustrating thing is they have done nothing to limit the exposure of the staff who are free to visit family while the residents are not.

My Mother and Dad live at Avita in assisted living. They love the facility. The staff is wonderful! They have met so many new friends. There are so many activities. My sister and I highly recommend Avita!

My Mom stayed there for nearly 5 years. She fell a number of times and the last time broke her arm. I dont think there is enough staff to care for the patients. We moved her out and when we moved the bed found bed bugs on the wall behind the bed. She was in the memory care unit but had now been moved to a much nicer place.

There is no communication between the shifts. The director of nursing is incompetent and rude. The manager does not return phone calls. The nurse aide has a bad attitude and doesnt have time to help my family member but has time to play dominoes with another resident. Three of the LPNs were very kind and did an awesome job. Other staff seem to be more interested in texting on their phones.

Have visited several times and have always enjoyed the friendliness of the residents and the staff. Beautiful and well organized facility!

Mom was here for almost 6yrs, she fell a month ago and they didnt know how long she was there, she had a compound fracture, then she went to rehab. during rehab Avita told the rehab they basically didnt want her back that she needed skilled care, and didnt tell us, my husband called got it confirmed, we had 4 days to find her a place, really sad!

Friendly staff, great food and very nice decor. Im glad my mother chose this place. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I worked here for a year. DO NOT SEND ANYONE YOU LOVE HERE. Trust me they will not be taken care of they way they should!!!

My father-in-law is in Avita and the care he receives is great.

They have provided excellent care, the staff excells at what they do and the management staff is highly qualified!

This is one high class seniors place to live.

The other 2 people that wrote reviews work there. They stole my grandmothers jewelry in her final days when she was not aware. Stole her rings, necklace and bracelet that she was wearing at the time. I always saw the nurses neglecting a patient that was half falling out of her wheelchair. I went to help her and when she looked up, her face was all bruised from what Im assuming was a fall out of the wheelchair. So sad.

Good staff. Nice place.

The worst food you could eat. All meat is like leather from being over cooked. They serve califlower 90 % of the time. The administrator doesnt care. Move.

During a visit with a family member the person giving out meds smelled of alcohol and seemed to be under the influence

The facility is clean and the staff is friendly.
