Tremendous staff, really treat you well and like an adult. Also the clients were very welcoming. Counselors dont just get you sober but help you get to the core of why theres this addiction. Been to few other treatments, and this is by far the best!

The staff at Holland Pathways are the most kinda and caring people ever. They all took the time to get to know me personally and really care about helping people to recover from their addiction. The facility is very well kept and the food is amazing. I feel very blessed to have been a client.

Holland was seriously a life saver for me. (: I couldn’t quit on my own and I consider myself lucky to have had the experience to go there. I got close to the staff and all of the clients there and made friends I’ll have for a lifetime! I’m super thankful to be able to say I’m sober. All because of the help I received at Holland. (:The food was great, the rooms are awesome, mostly private, and super clean. And the groups/ meditation at night, and daily meetings were all awesome. Ive called their intake twice and found that their main concern is getting you into inpatient as quickly as possible and getting as much of your money as possible. For people who are only problem drinkers, I recommend pursuing counseling services elsewhere.

Their focus on teaching Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) while supporting traditional 12 step practices is both innovative and effective for long term success. I experienced a strong commitment from administration, staff and clinicians open to input, commitment, and genuine support of my personal journey to choosing healthier, more productive tools to manage my reality. My days at Holland were well spent learning and applying DBT skills to combat a lifetime of destructive self sabotage. Comparing the Holland approach to treatment to programs based solely on the 12 step model is like comparing a rotary phone to an Apple 12 IPhone. Both offer the same basic capability. The IPhone offers much more! A deep bow to all of Holland Pathways for bringing the possibility for joy and good balanced health to the years ahead.

Great place to go for treatment. The staff is always on top of things. Really like the fact that some of the counselors have previously had additions of their own. So they can relate to you on a familiar level. Completed treatment knowing that with the tools they provided, would help me further my sobriety.

I was skeptical of this place at first. I had attended other recovery programs in the past. Ill start by assuring you that this is a authentic and genuine review. I have never felt better, the staff here is some of the best Ive come across. The food is often homemade and REALLY good, all the groups are typically sincere and thoughtful.If you want to get clean, have a better life....you can do it here NO QUESTION

This is not only just a treatment center it is more then that They actually do care about your sobriety. They teach you the right tools for you to use when you are in the real world. I am very grateful for Holland Pathways. It truly changed my life in so many ways. I came to this facility 2 months clean, but I was still a complete mess on the inside. The people here welcomed me with open arms and showed me how to love myself again, how to enjoy life, that true sobriety was possible and how much God loved me even through everything. I was very fortunate to be guided to Holland Pathways for treatment! The dig into the emotional side of addiction, and teach skills you need to use minute by minute and day by day to get through recover. I finally feel myself again and my anxiety is under control! I simply cannot express how wonderful this place is. The staff is well versed and incredibly savvy in addiction treatment. Fieldview at Holland is one of the most amazing Treatment Centers in Kansas. The staff is very supportive and takes the time to share loving kindness and compassion to the residents. I have personally seen all levels of staff go above and beyond to help each individual get the proper medications, diet, exercise and living quarters to enhance the quality of their treatment. This place truly cares for each individuals well-being, and works closely with surrounding sober living homes to ensure a safe and healthy flow into the working world. I would recommend this Facility to anyone who is struggling or has a loved one struggling with Substance Abuse.

This place saved my life! I was unable to function in everyday life. The DBT program they teach showed me a new way of living. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and relatable. They helped me to develop a new way of thinking and a way of living I didnt think was possible!

This is the best place I’ve ever gone for treatment. The DBT skills learned here help me cope with life’s stressors and carry over well to Alcoholics Anonymous. The clinical staff here is excellent as well.

Fieldview will change your life. They have a great program that helps you make more sense of your disease and how to cope with the stress of daily life in a healthy way. The staff was amazing and so helpful. Best place to get help at.

This place seems great on the beginning but they keep patients even when they know your insurance won’t pay anymore So they can try an make you pay out of pocket and when you can’t they toss you out without any discharge plans. Just a list of list of self help meetings. The nurses yell at patients and each other and don’t seem to care whose watching. They take forever to hand out pills and you don’t talk or they yell at you. Especially the head nurse. They will give you what you want just to shut you up so they can keep playing on there phones or gossipping about other staffs. The counselirs won’t talk to you unless you stay passed detox. They will tell you when you have a UA so they can look good when all there patients pass. If it wasn’t for the recovery support staffs I wouldn’t have got nothing from here. Go here so you can see what recovery isn’t.

This facility used to be called Fieldview it is now called Holland Pathways and now has local ownership and local management! WOW! What a tremendous difference! I am proud to work here, we are JaHCo accredited and accept most private insurance plans. The medical detox is amazing and our clinical team is dual diagnosis licensed. Great Staff, great facility, great classes every day!

Could not be more disappointed. Complete chaos at intake, it was like watching the three stooges running around trying to figure out which person could actually perform an intake. Had no idea why we were there or who we were despite setting a time up beforehand. Could not pronounce my wifes very common name. They tried to blame not being ready for this on another patients relapse and intake.Finally get to the intake process. An over hour long series of questions that dont really dig into the details of medical history (ask 5 times if someone has an uncommon condition but not remember or record key info like medication reaction specifications or sober dates).Thats all forgivable. But the scary part was the complete ignorance of the staff on certain medications and their taper/detox method. Did not understand what gabapentin does. Did not understand why you cant cut pills except at the score line. Not understanding of how benzos work or the danger of abruptly stopping them. Their detox method was described as; stop taking what youre on, well give something for anxiety. Oh and they have ibuprofin, Robitussin (umm for addicts????), and Sleepytime tea for pain, sickness, insomnia. So medical detox is either cold turkey or a taper with medication cut in a way that is not guaranteed by the manufacturer to be consistent. Medical monitoring is someone peeking in your door every 15 mins. Thanks...The detox method described by the admissions people and the nurse practitioner were different. These were all huge red flags so we decided not to proceed with a stay here. All of a sudden were kept in the intake room while everyone pops in to try and convince to stay. After being unable to transfer a call for 15 mins to talk to finance person they finally agree to refund us our down payment, well the next day when banks are open. Ill be updating my review if this actually happens.Of less importance, the place is dumpy for the price. Looks like thrift store furniture, it used to be an old folks home and I bet they kept the furniture. My wife needed food with her medicine, they got her a sandwich, which was a slice of cheap coldcut on wonder read with some Cheetos. The snack cart I saw rolling around was all junk food, seems counter to the idea of getting better/healthy.I cant recommend this place, maybe it works for some. But the staff seemed inconsistent, ignorant of medical and pharmacological understand, were going to do a dangerous method of detox. The facility was not nice, food not nice, stank like cigarettes, a patient with a cellphone kept following us, not that thats everything but for the price.... Before insurance looking at $4,000 a day for med detox, like $40,000 for a 30 day stay I mean its just a scam.

I worked at this place for a month without getting paid and I was hired knowing damn well they didnt have money to cover their expenses. Worked with a cook named JR that in my estimation looks like a ex or currently using drug user that was a huge liar and control freak but most of all, residents complained about his questionable food preparation. I worked at drug and alcohol treatment facilities before (Charter/Options adult detox/Via Christi) so I can say that this is not one of them if you are serious for recovery. This is an below average bed and breakfast with sketchy, dishonest staff from upper management down and lazy, poor attitude nurses. Also there is a HR person named Judy that does not mind lying to you to your face about being paid. Do not trust this snake. If you are looking for a job, do not attempt to work here because you might not get paid (ask around) and if you are serious about recovery, steer clear of this place. You can find somewhere better suited for your needs.
