I sent my wife here to get help with alcohol addiction. It was a terrible environment for her to be. She battles anxiety and with all of the things she was listening too and seeing, only made it worse. The staff was not helpful and rude to all of the patients. My wife waited 6 days before she got to see her therapist and only talked to her once. She was told that her therapist would be gone for the next week. So, why would you want to pay to get help and not be receiving any help. The staff have no respect for the patients at all. The patients are treated terribly and worst than prison inmates. Do yourself a favor and dont go to DCCCA Womens Recovery in Wichita, KS.

Dorothy the administrator, she saved my life! Shes like a guardian angel! All the staff there at that time at first were like evil and mean... But in reality they all worked together to help me. Thank you guys!

I had lots of hope for this place, I felt the the staff genuinely cared and made me feel worthy of my life, to be left deveatated. The day I showed up with my children, they told me then I needed to detox and that my children would have to come back 2 days later. After many tears and hugs goodbye, we parted thinking wed see eachother soon. The day they were to return and they were almost at the facility from out of town I had to call them and tell them that staff changed the day, unknown to me, to 3 days later. My youngest at 3 was crying saying she wanted her mommy. My oldest is 9 and was heartbroken saying she wouldnt make the trip again and just wanted her mommy home. It broke all of us. I tried several times to speak with the coordinator and the one time I got through she hung up on me and the rest of my calls were screened. I thought I found somewhere that my soul and heart could heal and now Im left with the broken remains of my hope. This place has potential, I just pray that they find a way for their staff to better communicate amongst themselves and their clients they say theyre trying to help.

I just want to say thank you, you saved my daughters life. Whatever you are doing here, please never stop!!My daughter had been to another facility twice, came out and went right back to what she did before she went in.She came out of here a completely different person.She is now working, and in 3 weeks getting her own place and getting her son back home with her.Thank you so much for helping her!!!
