I normally go to the Great Clips on 76th and Greenfield, and a gentleman there does an absolutely fantastic job at cutting hair. His fades are on point. Well I decided to go to this location as it was across from Kohls where I needed to return an item. The staff was nice, however, she did not know how to cut hair. The entire time as I was watching, the only thing that went through my mind was I could have just done that at home and here I am paying 18 bucks for it. As a matter of fact there are a number of $7/$8 dollar shops that may have done a better job, but I figured Great Clips may be more of a cleaner atmosphere as well as a location where I may get a decent haircut. Anyways if youre just looking for a quick cut and ya dont care on your looks, this is place to be at! Otherwise, hit up the one on 76th and Greenfield!

I have always had a pleasant experience with the staff of the West Allis location. My only problem is the online check in. I checked in online today at 6:00 pm the site told me it was a 40 minute wait. I checked the online status at 6:45, it said I had to wait 30 more minutes. What is the point of an online check in if it doesnt hold a solid spot for the consumer.

It seems like its a hit or a miss in terms of getting a good haircut at this particular location; it depends on who you get. Most of the staff are friendly but one of them definitely needs an attitude adjustment when answering simple questions.

The people that worked there looked like they didnt know how to cut hair. The person who cut my hair did it uneven, and a piece of hair was not cut. Do not come here unless you want to waste your money and bet a bad hair cut!

The worst haircut Ive ever gotten. I got a hair cut from Jackie from West Allies at 6pm February 9th. Not only did she not follow as I asked but she managed to cut off way more than I had asked (I asked for it to only be thinned) I asked for my hair to lay under my eyes but now it is 2 inches above my eyes. the line in the back is slanted instead of straight, and only one of my sideburns is almost completely cut off. Got this hair cut for my birthday coming up and now I dont know if I ever wanna go outside to the public again. I can only assume shes never held scissors before. Never going back to great clips. We will be contacting the owner to complain, its that bad!

2nd visit, Gregory did a good job. Had a coupon for a $10 haircut, worth it.No way Im paying $17.00 for a haircut. (Plus tip)= $20 +Sorry, Im back to do it myself for free unless I have a coupon.Retired, fixed income. Nice place, app did not work 2nd time.Maybe the owner would pay a livable wage?Doubt that...Hence...Cya.

This was my first time here and I have to say this was a very positive experience. The lady that cut my hair was very friendly and had a great personality.The shop was clean and modern. Short wait times. Even with two people in front of me was less than 10 minutes. And the online check in is a nice touch.

I started visiting Great clips around 2 yrs back and since then I am a regular. Their convenient location and warm salon artists made it possible. They listen to you patiently and thrive to deliver the same.

Asked for a zero high fade. Got a 1 high fade. Maybe to lazy to blend a zero into the top. Also the blend or even cut to beard by ear is absolutely uneven. I felt and thought she was taking her time so I didnt notice. Also bangs are messed. Rushed or lazy. Not cool. I went here because the personal haircut person wasnt doing a good job. Guess Ill go to the Southside and pay 25 a haircut from a person who cares because they pay for there seat to cut hair. Not a guaranteed job

Friendly staff & convenient location. Ive had my hair cut by several staff members now and have been pleased with the results every time. The experience has even gotten better since Great Clips has introduced the online check-in feature; huge time saver.

Ive been going to this place for 13 years so, obviously, Im a bit partial to the place. This visit was great as always. Great haircut. Great conversation. If you go there do two things. One: do the on-line check in before you go. Much shorter wait that way. Two: have them take notes in their computer about how you like your haircut so next time they know what you expect and you also know what to expect. At this point, they know my name and haircut on-site. It does make a guy feel special :-)

This was my first time at a salon in 15 years, as I normally just take a clippers and shave my head to all one length. I asked for what I thought was a simple hair style as I am standing up in a wedding this weekend. I asked for the sides and back to be shorter, and to fade to longer on the top. What I got was a disaster. Its tough how describe how bad the haircut looked, but it was obvious that she used 3 different length guards as they did not fade together at all. Just 3, obvious steps of hair length. There were also chunks that were missed that were well longer than the rest of my hair.In the end I went home and set my clippers to the lowest guard and shaved off everything I had just paid $14 for. It will probably be another 15 years before I go back. I would have taken a picture, but was too embarrassed to do so.

Ive been to this Great Clips twice and both experiences were pretty good! I really loved my first haircut here as it was just what I wanted. My second experience was okay, it wasnt the best haircut but I think that was on my fault as I didnt describe what I wanted well enough. The staff are all friendly and always polite. I would recommend this location!

Came to get my sons hair cut, wish I would have got the other girl that was working to cut his hair, she seemed nice, personable and smiled alot. Instead I got the stylist for my son that seemed like she wanted to be anywhere but at work. When cutting a kids hair you would think you should be at the very least personable or smile once. She didnt talk the whole time, had the worse expression on her face. I even gave her a tip, which I shouldnt seeing as her personality was less than desired, only reason why is she did cut his hair good. Definitely needs to work on the customer service part though wow! Ill go to a different location from now on or a place that cuts kids hair and actually smiles and is friendly.

I have been going to this location for a long time. The staff they have now are by far the best staff they have had since I first started out. I have had Kayla consistently cut my hair now over many months and now I wont go to anyone else. She is very professional during the time and actually listens and talks to the customer.

I like Great Clips! They know what they are doing. When you check in a note of previous appointment helps to keep your style similar, however if you want to change it up they are most accommodating.

Wendy is a true professional who cares and listened to the things I liked about my current cut and the things I wanted to change. Making my cut personalized just for me. My shampoo was amazing, I could come in once a week just for the massage that she gave with the shampoo lol. Professionalism and the knowledge about how to care for our hair made this a A+ Experience also customer service is amazing ,she really gave a cut that is unique and worth much more then what we paid. Talking with her about her experience as a stylist including training in Chicago and that Great Clips offers an apprentice program, my daughter would like to be a stylist once she graduates. Wendy enthusiastically told us about the Apprentice program and pointed us in the right direction. Thank you Miss Wendy, Briana and I will most positively be back in the new year. Happy Holidays☃️🎄

I have used Great Clips off and on for years. My last cut was terrible. (a week ago) I will go back to see the first person at this location who did a great job. Jessie was the first person who cut my hair. LOVED it. Guess I have to go back to ask her to clean up the non cut I received last week.(from another stylist)

I go to this location bc the people there do good work. You have a 10 to 15 min wait on the weekends, but its worth the wait.

My husband had his hair cut at this location the young lady that cut his hair (believe her name was Kate or Kayla) was very unfriendly and made my husband uncomfortable. We have come to this location before and never had a problem until this time. She was never asked once if everything was okay or how talked at all. She never smiled and still never smiled at the end of the cut, we never not tip for our services but for this one we did not, such a shame that we need to find a different location to get our services done at now as this location is 2 mins from our home.

Hard to find someone who knows how to cut natually curly hair, she almost got it!

Went in just to get a trim, told my hair dresser how my hair was parted, yet she parted my hair down the middle to cut it and shape it. So, once I parted it the what I usually have it there were uneven pieces everywhere. Went back in to get it fixed, and ended up making it worse. The people were nice but I am not satisfied at all with what they did to my hair.
