Ive been seeing Jeffery for about 2-3 months now and I can honestly say he has helped me with my mental health SO MUCH. I researched a lot when I was trying to get a therapist for myself and Im truly happy I chose Rachel McDermotts office. The staff here is amazing, very sweet and patient! 10/10 recommend for anyone willing to better their mental health or just vent to someone that can give you great feedback.

Rachel was very rude and judgmental when I attempted to arrange sessions for my ex and I to help us learn how to work through coparenting issues. Asked for reasonable accommodations considering our circumstances just to met with attitude and snide comments about our situation. She even went as far to say that they couldn’t help bc they only help parents who want to work together for the best interests of their children. Very unprofessional and demeaning considering the whole reason I was attempting to do therapy was so we could work together for our child.

Seeing Rachel McDermott is like talking with your best friend how is extremely intelligent and gracious. She also does EMDR therapy. I’ve noticed she works closely with staff to insurance a professional and most comfortable experience in the area.

I completely recomnend McDermott Counseling! They are a classy group of therapists that have helped my entire family wo much! I see Rachel, my wife sees John and we actually see Tracy together to work on our marriage, which has improved tremendously since we got in counseling.
