Overall the experience is somewhat in need of a makeover. The building isnt very well lit inside and it kinda feels depressing. However one of the nurses there, Jackie, is fantastic. She was very professional during the intake process and was very respectful. As anybody who knows the lifestyle that would lead one to a clinic can have long term effects. Taking my blood can be nearly impossible and I can get bad anxiety when somebody thinks they know my body better than me and insists on poking me until they succeed. After voicing my concern, she was understanding And promised only to try one time, which she did. I dunno something about her just calmed my anxiety and made me feel like she was on my side as a friend instead of just another patient rolling thru the doors. That made me feel good. Even now I see her she still brightens my day and asks how Im doing. Thanks Jackie!

Okay so theres those that know me and those that dont care to know me but Im cool with that I met a young lady there Im married but I met a young lady there I think she was a nurse her name is Jackie she was so concerned with the patients outside waiting because something came up and she made sure that she greeted all 15 of them and told them how she so sorry about the delay and everything like that thats the most anybody has ever said to me other than just wait you know thats how they are they treated everybody like dogs but I told her dad so hold on she might take the position of the owner of that place which would be really good cuz you can tell shes a strong individual you can tell she means what she says and she says what she means God bless Jackie everybody go in on a prayer for her God bless you Jackie

( Luckily ) I am am not a patient but ( regretfully ) my wife is. I am taken back with how this place is called a treatment center How to put this nicely. I cant see how they call themselves an addiction treatment center. They arent there to help people. They just want to get their patients to trade one addiction for another. My wife is going there to get help for an addiction problem. She is a patient because she wants to stop not swap one addiction for a different addiction. They almost daily try to get her to up her dosage and pretty much ignore her when she tells them she wants to lower her dose.That place is a a joke. If you are wanting to quit and not be a regular user then I would try to get help elsewhere. BAART wants nothing more than for a patient ( customer ) to be a lifer.Are all methadone clinics like this? In my book they are simply drug dealers themselves and only want customers and dont want them to get sober with long term usage is there main goal.

I have applied twice for the position of Program Director. I am still waiting for an answer to start the interview process.

They recently changed the rules so that it takes 10 days to get hour dose increased. And im only at 50mg I had been calling my counselor multiple times and left voice-mails for an increase. And I would call and ask for him explaining that he wouldnt answer my calls.. And all they would do is transfer me to his line. So I kept leaving voice-mail after voice-mail. Only to end up talking to him several weeks later and he told me that their new system is having problems none of them are getting their voice-mails. And nobody told me that. So here I am now only to find out im stuck on 50mg and I cant even get a dose increase because more people have to approve it..the nurse, doctor, and counselor arent good enough. They have more ppl who have to ok the dose increase. So here I am struggling trying to make a better life and better choices. But Im struggling BADLY

My husband and I used to go to the BAART clinic in Visalia CA for several years. We were very happy there and would still be there if they hadnt got a new site manager. This lady must really feel the need to be in control and wields her power like a knife. She has made up a bunch of new rules, some of them so ridicules that bunches of people either were kicked off the clinic or left on their own deciding that using was a better option. It seems to me that instead of trying to help people she is trying to cause harm. My husband thinks she has a hidden agenda and is trying to close the place down. She is very prejudice against both white and black people and is very rude to us. She has been the cause of a lot of relapses.My husband and some other people decided we would start going to Fresno instead, I didnt realize they both had the same owners. I dont even care these two clinics are different as night and day. The staff and counselors are approachable and really care why something happened. They treat everybody the same no matter the color of their skins or there stations in life. Im so glad we took a chance and are driving an extra 88 miles a day for now. Thank you E st BAART Fresno

I have been a BAART patient for over 5 years, and it has saved my life. Before coming here my life was a mess and BAART has helped guide me toward the right path. If you are looking for change in your life this place is where you need to go. I have to say I really love the newest director Martha, She is fair with the rules across the board and I appreciate that. If I follow all the rules then it’s only fair everyone else does too! I have seen patients throw tantrums like toddlers and even threaten staff just to get their way I don’t think it’s fair! The staff is always understanding and professional all the time. I’ve hit several bumps in my journey to recovery and on several occasions I have gone in to my appointments or to dose hungry, and somehow there’s always a warm welcome, a smiling face and someone who goes above and beyond to make sure I get something to eat. The programs works as long as you follow the rules, and the rules are there to keep us safe. All the staff at baart are amazing their compassion goes a long way

My opioid addiction ruled my life, and caused me to lose everything that meant anything to me. I truley did NOT have the strength to kick this addiction on my own, I had heard so much good and bad about the Methadone Maintenance Program it was the last place I thought Id find a solution..... At BAART Visalia not only did I find my solution, this place saved my life and continues daily to aid me in fixing all the things in my life I had broken..... Thank you BAART and all the wonderful staff who have played such a significant role in my recovery, I will forever be grateful!!!!!!

The nurses that give methadone are mean and if your body is on a come down and are. Not in the mood to talk Little tiny Anorexic brown girl Says Im going to work extra slower because people are physically hurting

For given the meds they are good at that I wish there was more understanding there me and my wife transfered here from PA and things where a bit hard to understand there nobody would tell use what was happening . We have been drug free for at least 10 years and we were treated as we just walk in off a good binder .my wife was able to get a consular and had here steps back in 2 days .I was told I would get mine to but its been 7 days and nothing I dont even have a primary consular dont no who reads this butt please help me.it is a great thing that your doing for people

Its a continuous eye sore. On holidays this place opens for 2 hours causing 100 or more people waiting outside. The City must be so proud. Not to mention there complete lack of medical confidentiality on other Dr prescribed medications. Im sure theres some laws being broke here. Pretty sure you cant just make up your own policies that violate human rights. Hopefully construction starts very soon on another clinic. And theyll lose 100s if not Thousands of clientele.

Was terminated cold turkey for having words with the director after she cut my counseling session. She better hope I dont die from methadone withdrawls, after being there 2 years, at 98 mg. I am sure that would be cause for malpractice, my family will handle that. She refused to give me number to her superior,and called the cops on me for coming to the clinic for the number ,after she told me to come get it from her. Besides that , staff is helpful.

Their (your) computers are down and they (you) told me I was out for treatment on Thursday ( thanksgiving) because you have no way to contact the tulare clinic to set me a treatment. Thank you very much and this the kind of service anyone going there can expect.

This place will give you a methadone but they are not a treatment center all they care about is collecting the cash at they get for you for being a patient
