Amazing staff, very friendly and helpful. The assistants and Dr. Rai were very comforting and made me feel relaxed. The surgery as much as I had, ( multiple teeth removed ) was was very smooth and uneventful. I thought my healing would have taken a lot longer, the next day I was up and around doing my normal. This is the best oral surgeon in the country. Google it, he’s #4. Way to go Dr Rai and team.

Dr. Rai was meticulous in his careful planning for my full mouth dental implants! This not a procedure chosen lightly, and so the surgeon and dentist must be chosen with great care. Dr. Rai and Dr. Michael Fernandez worked together with a dental technician over weeks of time to be certain that every process would go smoothly and well. Dr. Rai was the most highly respected dental surgeon I was referred to…and he certainly deserves to be! I would recommend him as The Best!

The care that was provided by Dr. Rai and his absolutely amazing staff was extraordinary. For my daughter’s consultation, we were able to receive a thorough breakdown of how the wisdom teeth removal procedure will be conducted and Dr. Rai also voiced his concerns with my daughter’s teeth and gave us different options on how to proceed based off of his concerns, which I thought was very helpful. I had a great experience! They were able to get me in quickly because I was in a lot of pain! I had a tooth extracted and it was done very quickly! The assistant, Tara, was very kind, took good care of me, and made sure I was comfortable! And, they called me a couple days later to see how I was doing! Having been a practice administrator at a medical practice these things are important to me! The only criticism I will give is that the front desk should have notified me that he was running behind so I wasn’t just sitting there guessing! Overall extremely happy!

My 15 year old had four wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Rai (3 impacted), and the whole process went very well. First off, everyone in his office was fantastic, kind, professional, and timely; even when dealing with a worried and concerned mom. Katie, Terra, and Jessica we’re amazing. Dr. Rai was very professional, detailed, knowledgeable, safe, patient and made me feel very comfortable. He called to discuss my sons plan of care and answer questions personally over the phone. How many surgeons still do that?! My son did very well. He was comfortable with the Terra right off the back, Dr. Rai explained the details to both of us, I got to stay with him until they were ready to start the procedure, he was comfortable during the procedure, and day one post op he seems to be in a minimal amount of pain and not having a lot of swelling. My son was even able to eat some Mac and cheese about one hour after his procedure. Terra gave us a rundown of all the foods he could have after (and it’s a whole lot more than mashed potatoes and pudding lol). Disclosure: we followed all instructions from the office! Long story short, I would absolutely recommend Dr. Rai’s office to family, friends, and co workers. Thank you guys for providing such awesome care!!

Dr. Rai extracted a wisdom tooth on short notice after a same day referral from my dentist. The entire procedure took about an hour and although i was not put to sleep, only felt brief and tolerable pain. The staff was very kind, knowledgable and easily put my anxiety to rest. Excellent experience for wisdom tooth removal! Such friendly staff--Nicole was so helpful in getting us scheduled on very short notice and Tara was a delight in handling all of the post op. Dr Rai was extremely professional and knowledgeable and his calm demeanor put us at ease. Recovery has been phenomenal with very little swelling and hardly any pain at all (handled very adequately with just Tylenol!). A very definite five stars!!!

Performed evaluation and surgery in same visit. Staff was well informed, friendly, and efficient and surgery took place shortly after appointment time. I had five teeth extracted (all four wisdom plus one second molar) about five weeks ago. Dr. Rai did an incredible job with the surgery, and the practice included a small care package as well as detailed care instructions for the first week which helped me avoid the dreaded dry socket. All together it was a significantly less painful experience than I was expecting. I will likely return to Dr. Rai for any future oral surgery needs.

I was referred to Dr. Rai’s practice from my primary dentist after I had cracked a mollar that was beyond repair. Unfortunately it took three days for the “emergent” visit to come to fruition at Dr. Rai’s office and now I understand why. This one of the few practices in the are that treat you as a person and part of their own, unlike others that see you nothing more than a head count.I arrived and the admin staff were delightful, the nursing staff was very nice and professional, they did some small talk and I appreciate that as majority of us are just nervous to set foot in a dental office. I was at ease and felt comfortable in their care.When Dr. Rai first introduced himself you can tell the care and quality he presents himself in. Very knowledgeable, professional and very meticulous. He was very thorough of the procedure and options I can take. I went the dental implant route. I was explained the process thoroughly and the steps to get from start to finish. At the beginning of the mollar extraction some good conversation was made, it’s nice to have someone get to know you and include you into the fold of things. As far as the procedure, it was easy for him/them as they do it every day, however; you can see the expert, quality and efficient work unfold before you. I was in and out with little discomfort. Even the financial specialist is witty and made a good atmosphere even when she took my money!! How does that work?😆 Very honest business as they mailed me a check for the portion of money that was not used and covered by my insurance.So far very good job and I still have quite a bit to go for the final implant is done, I feel satisfied and I highly recommend Dr. Rai and his team of professionals for any future dental care.I know photos do wonders, but I do not have permission to take photos of them at work....so y’all are just going to get a fine scan/mold of my bone structure...enjoy!

I thought it was a very great dental office. Very clean and all the staff was very nice. I had my wisdom tooth taken out and it was fast and I felt nothing. Everything went very smoothly and they made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Rai called me the next day to check in on me and made sure I was doing well. I didn’t give it a 5 star only because of 3D X-ray that was quite pricey and isn’t covered by insurance but other than that everything else was amazing.

My Grandmother, Anne J, was very impressed with Dr. Rai and his dental practice. They were able to schedule her consultation the day after we called, and booked her extraction appointment within the same week. The staff was very friendly and the extra precautions they took for Covid made her feel safe. The best experience you could have for getting teeth pulled.

This practice is only generous to its clients up until it is time to collect the copay. I received two calls three days prior to my appointment in which I was unavailable to answer due to my work schedule; and they did not leave a voicemail. The next day, I then get a call from my mother saying the doctor himself called her and stated, “If she does not call me by 12pm I will remove her from my practice. I have many clients waiting for an appointment.” The workers who handle the insurance payments are also inconsistent with their knowledge and I was put on hold many times until they figured out the issues with my copay. The unprofessionalism of Dr. Rai was what caused me to ask my primary dentist for another referral. Very dissatisfied and disappointed in my experience with this practice.

Absolutely amazing! I just got my wisdom teeth out by Dr.Rai and I would do it all over again! It went perfectly and I have little to no pain afterwards even with four-impacted wisdom teeth that were close to nerves! He did an amazing job and so did his nurse. Truly was quick and easy!

My son had oral surgery today. Hands down I have NEVER seen service like this. The doctor kept me informed the nurses treated my son just like he was their own. Dr. Rai and ALL his staff were nothing but kind and just amazing to me. I was so nervous and worried for so many reasons!!! First , because I’m always nervous about pain and dental work, but more importantly, I was worried about how the staff and Dr would be around men. I say this because unfortunately, a lot of dentist and including their staff aren’t usually so nice and warming. That was so not the case here. I felt nervous yes, but I felt such amazing energy there, that my fears went away! I calmed down so much just talking to everyone and when Dr. Rai came in to talk to me, he was so gentle , kind and professional in the most nicest way I’ve ever seen. This is the best dentist I have EVER had. I really mean this and if anyone is reading up on his reviews because you’re about to have a procedure done, believe me, Dr. Rai is the best and will make you feel like your with family. Dr. Rai was recommended by my dentist and I found out he was out of network. So I started calling around, being that I had a mass in my jaw and needed it removed ASAP.After reaching out to a number of in network providers, and hearing them say they actually would go to him if they were in my situation, I decided to pay more and it was WELL worth it. Dr. Rai treated me like a person, not a case or client, yet was very personal. He checked up on me personally, post procedure, and called me immediately when biopsy results were in. Highly recommend for any oral surgery care.

11/10 experience at this practice! Wisdom teeth removal is never fun, but the pleasant people at this office made it all the more bareable. Dr. Rai is a really chill (he fist bumped me, clearly hes the coolest doctor in town) competent, and knowledgeable doctor. He thoroughly explained my wisdom teeth situation and the process of the extraction. He also makes good conversation, which is good for calming nerves. Jessica and Dina assisted him in the surgery. Ive never had surgery before, so I was fairly nervous, but both of those lovely ladies reassured me by talking about funny stories and explaining the amount of experience both them and Dr. Rai have had in dental care (a lot). I was in good hands. There were also two ladies at the front desk, Michelle and Katie, who were very patient and understanding when I realized that I forgot my insurance card. They were flexible and helped me handle that along with explaining my payment plan. This is probably the best place you can come to get any sort of oral/dental surgery done. Good, knowledgeable, patient, cool and friendly people here, and I 110% recommend coming to this practice. I rarely write reviews, but these people were deserving of a five star.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. I could not recommend this place more. They set up a payment plan for me via CareCredit as I dont have insurance. This was very important to me as I am working only part time and also in school part time and cannot afford to pay this out of pocket. Everyone at the office was very friendly and the procedure was done incredibly quick. I was out and back awake in what felt like 2 minutes, which is exactly how they described it to me. Everything they said was very accurate to how it actually went down which was incredibly impressive. I have felt absolutely no pain, only slight throbbing and after taking the medicine prescribed, it goes away quickly. I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out as my mouth was too small to house them. I had an amazing experience here and I 100% recommend Dr. Rai and his staff!!!

Wisdom teeth extractions are never fun, but he somehow made it painless. His staff is VERY friendly and put me at ease from the moment I walked through the door. He is very responsive and in tune with his patients and their needs.I would HIGHLY recommend him to any and all.

My daughter had her Wisdom teeth removed during COVID-19. Dr. Rai’s staff took the necessary precautions but not at the expense of patient care. The procedure was quicker than we thought and they provided good written post-procedure instructions. This is important because you are a bit overwhelmed when your child has just had oral surgery. The doctor called to check on my daughter and the staff were helpful when I called with questions. They also gave a small discount since neither our dental nor medical insurance covered wisdom teeth. Was as good an experience as possible given the circumstances. Thank you!

I called Dr. Rais office based on a recommendation I received from a friend. I called them and, from the very beginning, his secretary was incredibly helpful, straight to the point, yet understanding of my situation and empathic. She followed up with a call as promised and got my consult and surgery scheduled for three days later only because they are not open on weekends. The experience at the office was nothing but amazing. Dr. Rai and his whole staff are very kind, patient, professional, yet warm and nurturing. I felt cared for and regarded at all times and I have already referred a friend for the same type of surgery. 150% recommended. The way they treat patients should be the standard and its sad that I am so surprised by it. They definitely set the bar for what excellent care should be.

Really nice to visit an office that has patients as their first concern! All aspects of the procedure are explained and guidelines for expedited recovery from the procedure are discussed! Jessica and Nicole are very knowledgeable and put you at ease while getting you prepared for your procedure! Dr Rai is very concerned with making you feel as comfortable as possible during the procedure and is one the few doctors who personally calls a patient himself to check on the well being of a patient after a procedure! I am really impressed with this practice and would highly recommend them!!!

Had to get four wisdom teeth removed and I have had almost no discomfort at all. Staff is soooooo friendly and you can tell they truly care about answering all your questions, calming your nerves and making you feel taken care of. Surgery was quick and I was even given some ice cream to take home! Very impressed with this place.

Dr. Rai is absolutely fantastic very caring kind and made my son feel very safe getting his wisdom teeth taken out and my son was very nervous . Dr. Rai, and his assistant Jenna, are kind. They made me feel as comfortable as I could before my wisdom teeth extraction (all four teeth I may add). He even called post opt. to check in on the recovery process. They did a remarkable job and I nearly feel back on track after three days post opt. I would highly recommend to others due to their hard work and kindness.

My 13 year old son was the patient. He had to have 3 baby teeth pulled and 1 was fused with the bone. Dr. Rai was amazing. He made my son feel comfortable and thoroughly explained everything we needed to know about the procedure and after care. The office staff was very friendly and professional. They are very professional they take the patients well-being and and safety as first priority ,which put me at ease as being a mother of three. The nurse that stayed with my daughter was very considerate, kind and easy to talk. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were well informed before and after the procedure I received a phone call phone from Dr. Rai ensuring that everything was well with our daughter. I had all four wisdom teeth removed at once. Yes ouch. Dr.Rai and his staff were friendly from the beginning from consultation to my call fours days post op. Dr. Rai and his team treated my daughter like she was family. Each staff member We encountered was super friendly,efficient and attentive. Dr. Rai is a great oral surgeon. He removed all four of my daughters wisdom teeth (under anesthesia) recently, and was so thorough in describing the process of the surgery and the recovery to both of us. He and his staff were very supportive, constantly checking to see if we had any questions or concerns in the process. Dr. Rai called to check on my daughter the day after surgery and make sure she was feeling better and healing well. Wonderful practice!

I actually just returned from a consultation with this practice. Office is very clean, everyone is in masks which is great. I filled out some paperwork and waited a little bit on Dr. Rai, but not too long.It got kind of awkward after that though. During my consult with him, the receptionist stayed by the door. She didnt say anything or help him (he just looked at my tooth) so it was unclear whether she was a receptionist or an aide (or both). We practiced social distancing, so we were all far apart from each other too, in different corners of the room which is fine, but definitely added to the awkwardness of the convo.Dr. Rai asked about the graduate program I attended, asked where I attended undergrad and asked what I did for work. It wasnt conversational either, it was more like he was pulling information from me. Im a black queer-presenting woman, and Ive been treated with suspicion / hesitation in medical settings before. Thats what this felt like. What does my education background and career have to do with the consult? He also hinted several times that if I dont go with his practice, I could see anyone else in the area, which obviously I know. Why mention this several times?But the main issue came at the end. Before discussing possible dates for the procedure, I was presented with a bill. The bill was an estimate for out-of-pocket expenses after insurance. I found it completely inappropriate and Ive also dealt with this before. Doctors charging me up front before even treating me, because they suspect I cant or wont pay.I asked very directly if this was common practice and was told post-COVID that it is. I understand Dental practices are in a liquidity crunch, but that should be stated earlier in the process, upon booking the consultation. To demand full 100% payment up front, for a list of services that I have yet to think about is not right. I did not choose to pay so we didnt book anything, and after I left aI felt compelled to leave a review.It was subtle, but I didnt like how I felt during the entire interaction. For your information Dr. Rai, Im an investment banker who went to top academic institutions, but of course you know that. What you dont know is that I get asked this all the time, not out of genuine curiosity/conversation, but because being black and queer counts against me in a lot of places to include medical settings. Your questions felt interrogative and I would caution you not to behave that way (particularly with minorities) in the future.Even if you mean nothing by it, it feels like you are gauging whether or not I have a right to be in that office. I will not be using your services and I hope you improve your bedside manner in the future. Additionally if your practice requires a full payment just to book, then that should be clearly communicated upon scheduling the consult, period. Sliding across a ~$2k bill just minutes after going over all the possible treatments is unprofessional in my opinion. Do better.
