A great relaxing customer focused experience. I hadnt been to the dentist in several years and I had many issues that needed to be addressed. With that being said, Dr. Luma and the staff made me feel very comfortable. They took time to explain all I needed and devised a plan of action. Leaving a review to backup the one someone else left re: the rude receptionist. i experienced a similar thing about 1-2 months ago. i called to ask if my insurance was accepted, and the receptionist was very condescending about it not being accepted. my insurance was recently updated and the insurance had informed me themselves that it would be accepted at this office.. i tried to explain that, but the receptionist cut me off and was very dismissive.it was really discouraging and made me feel awful bc i saw great reviews about this place and was excited about getting a new dentist with my insurance. but the receptionist made me feel like i was stupid or something when i tried to explain. idk. i didn’t end up making an appt either bc of her attitude. like the other reviewer, i too wanted to see the dentist, but did not want to have to deal with the mean staff :( even at other dental offices when they didnt take my insurance, they were still nice about it and patient when i asked questions. i was reminded of this situation recently and came here to check if anyone else had experienced something similar... glad im not alone

Tried to schedule an appointment with this place and the receptionist was so rude and unwelcoming right off the bat. I was shocked and caught off guard because I had read such good reviews of this place and their staff beforehand. It left a really bad taste in my mouth and left me suspicious of how accurate the ratings actually are. Some dental places Ive been to in the past offer a discount in exchange for a good review – these are usually disappointing experiences since their reviews are inflated. Anyhow, the initial encounter with Dr. Lumas staff was bad enough that I decided not to keep the appointment. Even if the dentist is good, I do not want to have to endure feeling so unwelome and uncomfortable when I interact with staff. With the attitude I encountered, I do not feel comfortable asking questions or trusting them with taking care of my insurance benefits. A shame.

Dr. Luma refused to complete her own work on my 16 year old daughter, after a root canal, leaving her without a proper crown, ON A FRONT TOOTH, simply because she cried in the exam chair during her last visit. She cried due to pain still present after an unsuccessful root canal. A well trained dentist would recognize an unsuccessful root canal, Dr. Luma unfortunately did not. Her incompetence caused my daughter a lot of oral pain for weeks and hindered the crown placement process by many months. She was rudely unsympathetic to my daughter being toothless for months due to her misdiagnosis of and non ability to recognize the presence of oral nerves. Becky at front desk was extremely rude and ill mannered in explaining their refusal of services. I have filed an official grievance against Dr. Luma with my insurance.

Dr. Luma and her staff are so patient and sweet. They were understanding of my medical issues and the fear associated with having work done. From assuring me, to talking me through it snd holding my hand, I felt cared about and safe. Dr. Lucas work is excellent. I was a patient over 10 years ago, moved to another state for that time and came back to her. I’ve never had issues with her work snd my dentist out of state said they work was done great. I highly recommend her.

As a new patient, I was impressed with the professional staff. The front office staff were knowledgeable and very friendly. They have state of the art equipment and I received a detailed evaluation. The dental assistant took time to explain what she would be doing and answered all my questions thoroughly. Dr. Lumas expertise, knowledge, and genuine caring spirit made the whole experience a 5 star plus visit.

Dr.luma’s office is the best dentistry I’ve been to! The staff is wonderful and caring and they all make sure your anxiety stays down while there (The dentist office makes me nervous) and genuinely get to know people!

It is always a nerve-wracking experience getting a cavity drilled / filling, particularly the first time with a new dentist.. However, they did it very well, making sure I was comfortable the whole time. I did not feel any pain except the initial needle to deliver the local anesthetic, and they even applied a surface anesthetic before administering that, so even that was minimal. They were very professional and caring. I would say this is one of the best times having a new filling done out of all the dentists I have been to. Highly recommended!

Dr. Luma and her staff are so professional and very courteous, not only is it a pleasant environment with today’s new cleanliness standards due they have always gone above and beyond when it comes to cleanliness. I was pleasantly surprised to enter the office where everyone was masked if not double masked with an N95 and regular mask on top. Everything was wiped down before I came in and wiped and cleaned as I was leaving. I felt safe and satisfied with the most professional care I could ever receive from Dr Luma’s staff and Dr. Luma. I can’t say enough about the amazing level of skill and kindness.

Dr Luma has been my dentist for 15 years I had an appointment this morning for a routine cleaning which went very well. It is without fail that I’m in a dental chair within a few minutes of me arriving for my appointment, so wait time is minimal. Great place. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend.**Update: Today I was scheduled to have the rest of my deep checking done and two fillings done. While she was doing the two new fillings, she replaced my old silver fillings with white fillings. I didnt know she was going to do that. Im very appreciative she and her staff did that for me. She didnt tell me she was doing it or that she did it. I came home and noticed she had done that. Now on my right side, I have all white fillings. To most, thats not a big deal but to me its everything. Ive had a lot of work done on my teeth when I was younger and new experienced a dentist like this one. I dont trust anyone to touch my mouth but her and her staff. They are wonderful and caring.In a month, I do back for more fillings on my left side. Im usually anxious about going to the dentist but I trust her and her staff. They do miracles.

Probably one of the nicest offices I have even been too! The staff was very professional and thorough when cleaning my teeth.
