Received the Pilot for a decade and enjoyed the content immensely. Writers are fantastic so it’s a shame the rest of the business doesn’t represent themselves as well. But after having rates rise continuously behind our back I had enough and called to cancel. They convinced me to stay on for a “better rate” so I agreed. Their billing dept proceeded to bill me double what was agreed on AND come to find out for a shorter subscription time period. I called them to at a minimum, get refunded the excess charge. The nice lady proceeded to argue that I didn’t get charged twice while My bank statement said otherwise. So I happily canceled and will get my news elsewhere. Could have been handled so easily…and ethically. I encourage others do the same knowing that they jack up rates on long time subscribers and then proceed to discredit them when calling out deceptive business practices.
The class and pride of the creek . Nothing happens till these men and women do thier jobs first 24 hrs a day. Thank you for your commitment to the water .
