I recently was sitting with my Brother who has end stage Cirrohsis of the Liver..2 of the RPAs that attended to my brother have really impressed me .As a Retired RN ,who has worked with many health care professionals over 38 years,I was impressed with the kindness and empathy that I observed both to my brother and to myself...I want to thank you Michelle Rhymestein and EstafanPatOnate...May God continue to bless you...

I feel it should be stated that referrals are not accepted from well now urgent care or the emergency room.My son had stomach issues and I knew he needed to be seen by a specialist. We had to go a second time to the Emergency room in 2 weeks , be admitted on a Saturday morning, to be told he will get an endoscopy Monday afternoon . He is doing great now , but he did alot of sufferingI couldnt imagine having Healthcare run by the government.Its bad enough already.

Communication is very poor unless you scream, (not literally), then you get their attention. I don’t like to scream. You shouldn’t have to scream. I hope they improve their communication because I do believe they care.

Very professional and courteous staff. They helped to make your experience as pleasant as possible. They were very informative with everything. The whole facility was also very clean and organized.

Communication is terrible. Doctor retired and wasn’t notified of a new doctor assignment. Extremely poor customer service with combative staff. Would not recommend using this place.

Im having severe health issues.The ladies (nurses) Ive spoken with dont put their noses up at my symptoms! They speak to me with kindness and compassion. I walk in as a empty shell and walk out feeling like a human.A little Compassion in the craziness of it all goes a long way especially for the human spirit!

Any time I have attempted to schedule an appointment I been have ignored by the often disrespectful receptionists.

I have been a patient of Digestive Disease now for two procedures. The facility is new and up-to-date and always, I am made to feel like I am the only one they are focused on. So professional, so caring. From the Doctors right down to the staff at the desk always are professional. Quality care is number 1.

I have had nothing but positive experiences at this office. The staff are helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Dr. Sklar is wonderful and one of the best in the area. I highly recommend!

I had a very positive experience with this practice when I had a sudden intestinal issue arise. Dr. Sklar was attentive and reassuring. I felt very confident in his care.

I was originally trying to get an appt with them in September of last year. And I kept getting letters stating the appointment date changed.Looking at the reviews, I can see I am not the only one irritated with a bill.They didnt even spell my name right. Where did you get your information? I was referred here.

I had a colonoscopy and an endoscopy in March. The Dr never spoke with me to explain his findings. Ive been in pain for several months. I had an appt in May which they cancelled and they said they would be in contact. Which never happened. In May when they called to cancel I told the person I was in pain and they couldnt cancel on me. She said let me have you speak with our nurse. The nurse was an answering machine. I left a message explaining I was in pain and to please call me back. I got no call back. I went to my family Dr. in July I told her what was going on. She emailed this office a message. I get a phone call to have another procedure. I said I would like to have someone explain to me what the findings were from the procedures in March. She says she will have the Dr. call me. Well needless to say that never happened. Five months after the fact and a $4000.00 bill out of pocket expenses and I have no answers. The staff is rude on the phone, short and curt. They give you the run around from answering machine to answering machine. Oh and one answering machine says dont call here again because it just wastes time. Rude! I will be finding another Dr. as soon as I can afford to pay for another. After 6 months of not hearing from them I will be filing a complaint with NYS.

I met Dr. Bradley Sklar in 1995 while I was being treated by an E.N.T. Specialist for over a year for sporadic Laryngitis. After a few tests that Dr. Sklar suggested he quickly diagnosed me as having Re-flux Disease. He than informed me over a year later after more testing that at 33 yrs old I may want to consider Surgery in Syracuse. He followed me immediately through and after the Surgery. It worked out wonderfully successful.20 plus Years later, after a small relapse, Dr. Sklar, once again quickly analyzed my Symptoms and with few Prescription changes, got be back where I needed to be. I was a patient at this clinic from Feb. 2020 to Oct. 2020, having severe narrowing of the esophagus( became a liquid diet). Nothing was done to alleviate this problem, so I went to a doctor in Syracuse. I have been diagnosed with cancer of the lower third of the esophagus, which will require surgery and chemo or radiation. Wish I had those 8 months back

HORRIBLE customer service. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, I got an infusion at a nearby hospital and they didn’t schedule me a new infusion appointment and I never heard anything back on my next one. I had to call and bother them about it multiple times. The woman, i believe her name was Laura, who answered the phone was unbelievably rude and the woman she tried to put me in contact with was Toni. I called multiple times because the infusions are VERY important and I didn’t receive a call back nor did she ever answer her phone.Also, the woman working the front desk doesn’t understand urgency or empathy for patients. I’ve seen her be rude to multiple patients, not just me.

A friend suggested that I reach out to DDM for a telehealth consult. I did and was quite impressed. They gave me great feedback and additional.info to ask. If I lived closer, they would be my go to.

I have been a patient for a while. Have had multiple tests done and never really provided answers. (Some things are hard to find, and its understandable) However, I called to reschedule an appointment, never have I ever cancelled or was I a no-show. The lady on the phone was extremely rude... stating I would not be allowed to reschedule unless I paid a $50 fee. I called on a Friday and the Appt was on Monday morning. I understand policies are in effect for a reason, but the way I was spoken to was uncalled for. I will be finding a new physician and maybe even get some answers.

Dr. Sklar was extremely compassionate and thorough. He saved my life! I drive hours to get my colonoscopies here because they’re the best in all of NYS. Everyone local-I’m jealous!

I am so grateful for DDM! After years of struggling with mysterious, near-constant discomfort and bouncing around from doctor to doctor, Dr. Sklar and the team at DDM gave me a diagnosis and a treatment plan that made sense and changed my life for the better.

Absolutely horrible and unprofessional! Once they can finally get you a diagnosis they will never treat the issue ! A simple infection that could be cured with an antibiotic 4 months later of still not being able to get a medication having to start alover with another refurral from prime care doctor to a whole new facility !

Made it easy for me to schedule a colonoscopy. Best place in Utica to schedule colon procedures.

I had two different doctor app. same time. forgot to cancel this one. They charged me $50. Because it was my third no show in 6 years. How far back do they go. It was only a consultation anyway. I have sat in the waiting room for a couple of hours before, that doesnt count .

Very disappointed, I have been going here for 16 years never had an issue till now. They sent my prescription refill in wrong to my insurance company. My doctor is on vacation and I have been calling in for 4 days now at least three times a day to fix this matter. I now am currently out of my medication that I have been taken everyday for 16 years. Every time I call I get no where they just tell me we’re still waiting for the doctor to send it over, so glad my health is that important to you (not). I am unbelievably disgusted at this point. Tried calling the office manager have not heard anything back from her either. Totally agree with the other reviews, the people on the phones are extremely rude. Have an appointment in a few weeks totally thinking about canceling and finding a new place to go. A doctors office that has no priority in making sure your not without your medication really needs to be evaluated.

I had my appointment cancelled on me as I was headed out the door (Columbus Day) .. I call back two days later to reschedule and the person answering the phone was unbelievably rude, saying I was a no show and can not reschedule until I pay the $50 fee.. Well after numerous phone calls and no call back, this is what I’m resorting to. Glad my voicemail transcribes, I will see you in court.

My husband went to the Urgent care sending him to the ER . Found out he was bleeding internally and the Er doc said to ASAP follow up with digestive doc . He has gone there before so we called and explained everything and they said see you in 2 weeks ! When I had Dr. Garramone he saw me the next day from the ER!!!! My husband has dropped 12 lbs in 2 weeks and blood in the stool ! We are checking on Syracuse ‘!

Went in for CT and was given the wrong prep liquid to drink. Need to wait a week before test can be done. Meanwhile, all symptoms continue to disrupt my system.

Horrible place. I have had 2 appointments with this company. The first appointment I got there waited 45 mins for them to tell me that the doctor had canceled my appointment. The 2nd appointment, I got and they told me that the doctor was running an hour behind, then the phone rang and then I was told 2 hours behind. I couldnt believe that it had happen again. They wanted to reschedule me for July. I drove an hour to get there and to be treated the way I was, I will never go back. They are not professional at all.

Extremely rude people on the phone, dont ever go here the one nurse kept calling me she didnt even know who she was suppose to be talking to to, kept getting the name wrong. Then she went into detail about another patients tests results that were definitely not mine! Wow just wow! I told them before you have the wrong number. This is my second bad experience with them Im so happy I never went back. They dont want to help patients, they just want the money. Didnt go back the first time, after being called a liar on the phone the first time.

My doctor was dr. Garramone and I had been with him since 2011. He moved away to North Carolina last October. They had put me with a new doctor and hes new to the practice and apparently didnt want to review my records from dr. Garramone and wanted me to get a colonoscopy done that I didnt need just had it a few years ago and wanted me to get a new blood work done thats not covered by insurance that I had to pay out of pocket and he refused to fill out my FMLA recertification papers because they didnt want to take the time out together my records from the past year so he terminated me from the practice and his name is Harvey Allen. The place is not what it once was and they just want the money

Had an appt there recently to reestablish care, was a patient years ago, now back in area, Was to call to schedule a procedure, left messages repestedly, they never called me back. This was 3 months ago. Saw a different gastroenterologist, had all my procedures. But today I got an appt reminder call that they apparently kept on the books even though they effectively rejected me as a patient. Not the place it once was!
