ICVR is an incredible place and its staff are incredible people! Not only do they make dreams a reality but they really take the time to educate you on the entire process throughout the entire process. Let me clarify what I mean by that. They dont just educate you on the procedure itself, but the before, during and after! After Care is a really big deal here and after learning all about it Im kind of confused why its not something everyone in this field preaches. Was a little worried about flying somewhere for a vasectomy reversal, but Im glad I did. I looked at a bunch of different places that do reversals, and ultimately decided on Dr. Marks. While my main contact was a little tough to get a hold of (replies within 2-3 days, shes very busy), all of my questions were answered quickly. Its a little more pricey than some of the discount places, but after reading some horror stories on reviews of those other place I decided it was worth it. It was of course much less expensive still than having a local urologist do it.The staff were very friendly & welcoming. Really felt like I was the reason they were there and, well, thats because I was. I was the only person that morning getting a reversal (by design). After chatting with everyone for a bit, then 1 on 1 with Dr. Marks, I was moved into the procedure room, where again everyone in there was very welcoming and friendly. When I woke up, it was over. The post op instructions are very thorough and I couldnt really come up with any questions that werent right there in the booklet they gave me. Dr. Marks came and visited my hotel the next day. Ive received numerous follow up calls from him and staff as well.I had my procedure done the in the last week of August 2020, and my wife was pregnant by October. Very happy with this place and the results. Definitely worth the trip.

I went here multiple times to have a vasectomy reversal done, though certainly not through any fault of the staff here but rather due to personal medical issues and scarring. Each experience could not have been more pleasant, or at least as pleasant as a medical procedure can be. Easily the most family and patient oriented team in the business. I was traveling without my wife, but Ive included a photo of the waiting room they provide for spouses during the procedure. There were a surplus of snacks and entertainment. The whole team was exceptionally communicative through the whole process and after. They have established a whole system for accommodations, transport, medications, etc. that made the whole process simple.

Our experience at ICVR was absolutely phenomenal! I say our, because my fiance and I were treated like royalty, in every step of the way. I should know, because it was my 3rd reversal, from 3 different surgeons, at 3 different surgery centers. This surgery was a redo from a surgery in 2019 that failed. I cannot stress enough, on how important it is to choose the right surgeon. The difference in pain, recovery, and aftercare is unbelievable from my surgery in 2019. It makes me sick to my stomach, that I didnt have to go through so much pain and frustration like the one in 2019. I wish I could post a picture from the day after of both surgeries. I had zero pain and no bruising after a reversal with Dr. Marks. The day after surgery in San Diego was a nightmare. It looked like the surgeon used a hammer, scalpel, and glue.We showed up at ICVR at 7am. We were greeted by my nurse Harold. He showed us to my fiances waiting room/suite. The suite was so nice and comfortable for her. We sat down and went over paperwork and talked about what to expect that day. While we were talking, Dr. Marks came in to say hi and asked if we needed anything or had any questions. Dr. Marks then sat down and talked with us for almost an hour. About everything... the surgery... our lives.. and made us feel so comfortable. He was definitely not rushing in an hour late with wet hair, in a hurry to get started, so he could fit in another surgery after mine. After we finished talking with Dr. Marks, Harold walked me to the operating room to get me ready for surgery. Everyone was so nice and made me comfortable as I was laying there. I remember hearing Harold say, Ill be right here and the next thing I remember, I was waking up. Harold and Dr. Marks walked me to the recovery room and sat me in a big comfy recliner to relax as I recover from surgery. Not like in 2019, when I woke up in a wheelchair in the middle of an empty white room, soaked in sweat, and super thirsty. Harold then asked me what Id like to drink and if I needed anything to make me more comfortable. After I relaxed for awhile, Dr. Marks and Harold went over the post op instructions with us. Then Dr. Marks and Harold walked me to my car. Let me repeat this.... Dr. Marks and Harold walked me to my car. Unbelievable care! We drove to the hotel they set us up with and got situated in bed. Later that afternoon, Dr. Marks called me to see how I was doing. I was very surprised to hear from him that night. With my surgery in 2019, I heard from the doctor after we called with a few concerns a couple days after surgery(he did call us back). After talking with Dr. Marks for a bit, he said, Ill see you in the morning. He actually came by our room to make sure everything was fine and see if we needed anything. My surgeon in 2019, had me come in to his office so his nurse could look at me for a one month post op check up. Im not kidding, the surgeon didnt even peek his head in to say hi. Enough of the horror story of 2019. We stayed at our hotel for an extra day because we drove in from San Diego. On the way home, my phone rang... we looked at each other as Dr. Marks name popped up as a call coming in. He called to see how I was feeling on the drive home. I couldnt believe it! Dr. Marks and staff have contacted me several times to check on me. That is my experience with Dr. Marks and the differences between my last surgery. I really hope this helps someone understand on how important it is to choose your surgeon wisely. Still no pain or discomfort at all. I didnt take one pain pill or Tylenol. Did our reversal on 8/22/19 with Dr. Marks and it was amazing! I loved that they have their own facility. Their instructions are thorough and very easy to understand . Dr. Marks has amazing technical skills and is one of the most personable doctors we have ever met. He is funny and caring all at the same time. Their nurses and office admin are incredibly sweet, nice, understanding, and helpful. You can tell the whole staff and doctors know your mission is to have another baby and that is all they care about and they provide amazing after care! You get the doctors personal cell phone for any questions, they do follow-up calls to see how you are doing, and they were very sweet with helping us out with some items we forgot to bring to the surgery. ICVR was just absolutely amazing and we are blessed we found them.

Was impressed initially from online research, but am always skeptical until I can judge from my own experience. What you see is truly what you get here. They did exactly what they said they would as far as consultation, information and contact. Worth every penny paid. Dr. Marks performs only one vasectomy reversal surgery per day and he is only interested in our long-term reproductive success. Working with Dr. Marks is a process that begins with consultation then surgery, and will continue with months of regular monitoring to ensure that my body heals with minimal complications and the greatest chances for having more children. When we walked into his office, both he and his staff were entirely focused on us. He has state of the art equipment in his O.R. and the office has a dedicated family waiting room that is kitted-out with oversized sofas, television and snacks, which made my wife and family comfortable during my surgery. Dr. Marks and his staff kept my wife updated on the progress of my two-hour surgery, which was greatly appreciated by both of us. This place is absolutely wonderful! After having a vasectomy for 19 years, all other doctors said that there was only a 10% chance that my wife and I could conceive after a reversal. After two babies + one vasectomy + 5 years later my husband and I decided we wanted another baby, but were not sure if it was possible.The entire experience with ICVR was noticeably different than our first with a different urologist we consulted locally (who gave us about a 40% chance of my husbands reversal working.) I wasnt happy with their customer service or confidence about the procedure so I decided to Google other options. I am SO glad I did.We had a video call with Dr. Burrows a few days after my first email. He was much more confident and positive about our odds of the procedure working. We decided to take a leap of faith and booked our appointment. My husband flew from Denver to Tucson later that month. Its been a little over a year since the reversal and we have just been blessed with a beautiful baby boy. Our experience was great from the very beginning. We exchanged emails and did over the phone consultations and they answered all of our questions and then some. The doctors and staff are amazing. They provide an excellent level of personal one on one care and keep in touch with you long after your procedure. They ask for updates and make it clear you can ask them questions anytime. We had to travel quite a way to get there and definitely with the trip and every cent we spent.

My husband and I were very skeptical in proceeding with the vasectomy reversal process because we were afraid it wouldnt work, but we did it anyway. I originally started with a doctor in my home state of Michigan. Its just wasnt going well. I had seen Dads Again in my previous research. We had a great experience! Friendly Staff and attentive, they really made me feel involved and took care of me while my husband was in surgery. They constantly checked in with his progress and was there for us after the surgery. My husband and I came from Pennsylvania. Dr. Marks and team were so professional. We were recommended to the International Center for Vasectomy Reversal from another Urologist, due to his inability to handle our particular case. Compared to other Urologists, the price is high, but you get what you pay for and Dr. Marks and his staff is worth the trip and money spent!The waiting room was amazing! They only perform one surgery a day, so the waiting room was all mine! They provide very comfy arrangements complete with a couch, pillow, blanket, snacks, beverages and a movie. I do not want to ruin the fun by giving all of the details, but I was very pleased with my experience in waiting for my S.O.DH had a very pleasant experience as well! The surgery was relatively painless, and they provide you your own personal aftercare booklet complete with pictures to take home. The doctor is available to take your call if any emergency occurs with an after-hours cell phone, and he even requires that you call the evening of surgery to check-in! Dr. Marks even came to our hotel the next morning for the post-op appointment.Afterwards, they offer continued care with discounted semen analysis and fertility treatments if needed! The Andrologist Matt is very thorough, and as long as you do what is required for care, they continue to work with you to assist in getting pregnant. The care does not stop after the surgery. Dr. Marks staff at every point exceeded our expectations! What an awesome team of people at Dr. Marks office! From the beginning everyone was very warm and welcoming, but more importantly, they are knowledgeable. Everything was explained in great detail at the initial meeting to ensure all concerns were addressed and we understood the process. The procedure went smoothly and I was updated every so often during my husbands procedure. I also got to go into the lab and see the sperm in action which was very cool! Matt did a great job of explaining what was happening under the microscope. In addition, Jenny, Evie, and Susie were AMAZING! They are so friendly and helpful and really ensured we were both comfortable while there and afterwards. I love the personal care and concern they have at IVCR. We had a fantastic experience with ICVR from the time I made the phone call for our initial consultation. When we arrived in Tucson for our surgery I was beyond impressed. Everything was explained in great detail. They had a nice waiting area for me while my husband was in surgery. Dr. Marks even shared some of his snacks that he brought in for the morning. During the procedure, they called and provided updates to me every so often. Once they had retrieved sperm, I was able to come back and look at it under the microscope which was really neat. Instructions given were clear and concise in a personalized book that they had made for us. Dr. Marks came to our hotel the next morning to see my husband and make sure everything was going well. After our surgery, the great care continued with keeping in touch for our semen analysis results. We achieved pregnancy 9 months after the surgery and we were 12 years post vasectomy. So glad that ICVR helped to give us one of the greatest gifts we could ever ask for!

I wanted to wait until I got pregnant to write the review. I am now 5 weeks and due January 2020. Super happy! My husband had a vasectomy 9 years ago and we regretted it. We were told that it was irreversible so never really pursued getting a reversal. We started looking into a reversal dr and found someone here (Vegas) but they did not have as many great reviews or a nearly as high of a success rate. My husband had the reversal Novemeber 2018 and now we are expecting another baby. I was skeptical because every review was postive. I was like, there is no way they could all be legit reviews. ICVR is amazing, Dr. Marks is amazing and I cant give enough accolades. I had my reversal done at the end of April 2015, we were pregnant in June and had a boy on 3/3/16. Just found out today we are going to have another. How great is that. BTW I was told I would never have children because of low sperm count. Im not counting but I had 2 girls then a vasectomy, then a reversal then 1 boy and another on the way. Thank You!!!

My husband and I started this journey in November of 2013. He had a reversal done at a military base (it was covered by Tricare and we were pretty confident it would work). Well, the procedure proved to be unsuccessful. We decided to try again after my husband spent time researching ICVR. He reached out to the staff, and we soon had scheduled phone calls with Dr. Burrows to get more information on the procedure and likelihood of success considering this would be the second attempt at a reversal and my husband had the vasectomy done 10 years ago. The odds were much higher than wed hoped for, and Dr. Burrows explained the two different methods he could use depending on what he saw once he was in the surgery (scar tissue/any challenges from the first procedure). We scheduled the surgery for December 2016 - because whats a better Christmas present than having surgery on your man business? The experience from the moment we walked in until the follow up visit at the hotel was above and beyond our expectations. Dr. Burrows and the entire staff were incredibly kind, encouraging, and positive. They also know how to joke around, which we appreciate. The follow up care was outstanding; they call every 4 weeks with the sample results and change up their recommendation based on the results. We didnt get the results we were hoping for, and by May of 2018 Dr. Burrows, on our monthly call, said it was time to think about next steps. He offered to redo one side, but said the other was probably a no go based on what hed seen during the surgery. After much contemplation, prayer, and discussion we decided to give it one more shot. We knew my husband was in the best hands possible at the best clinic possible so we flew back out early July 2019. Dr. Burrows was able to perform the surgery, and update us on what happened during the previous attempt - long story short, my husbands body likes to heal itself ASAP, like Wolverine. After seeing the way his body reacted, and the scar tissue, Dr. Burrows felt confident the procedure went well. He only worked on one side, but one side is all you need. During our second visit the staff lovingly welcomed us back, and a couple of the staff came in the family waiting room and prayed with me. It was so beautiful and I am forever grateful for their love and kindness. This was our third and final shot. These people touched my soul with their kindness and love. They want us to conceive almost as much as we want it! Im so incredibly happy to report the third times the charm! (To clarify, only the second round for Dr. Burrows, third time for my husband!) We conceived early October 2019 and are expecting a baby girl in July. We could not be more excited, and we are forever grateful to Dr. Burrows and his staff. You all go above and beyond, and I cant begin to tell you how much that means to us. I also received a week by week pregnancy book in the mail today from the amazing staff! If youre considering this procedure please dont waste your time going anywhere else. This staff will blow your mind and fill your heart.
