Dr. Petrow is the best he’s taken care of my knees giving me a more active life. He listens and uses his different hobbies and interest to connect with you. I honestly would not trust anyone else with my knees. I was referred out by the VA and appreciate his care.

Dr. Petrow is a fantastic doctor. My hip replacement did great and although I fell very hard on it, its in great shape. Im still doing my exercises regularly and that helps my whole body. Very personable and takes time with his patients. Almost 2 years later Im a very happy 74 year old.

Juan, Dr. Petrows PA, walked me through a very comprehensive visual presentation via telelive video as I reside in New Mexico and face an archaic full knee replacement ;( We reviewed x-rays of both knees so I could see the difference between the good knee versus the knee in question. It was clear a full replacement was unessisary and that the Mako system and Dr. Petrow and team were worth the drive.

I had a robotic anterior hip replacement performed by Dr. Petrow in May 2021 and am very pleased with the results eight weeks post surgery. The xrays show perfect healing with no leg length discrepancy and I am able to do all the activities I want including hiking, cycling, swimming, yoga, and even pickleball. I am experiencing normal symptoms such as minor intermittent soreness and numbness which is expected to take a year or more to resolve but Im also continuing to improve each day. Dr. Petrow is not only an exceptional surgeon but has great bedside manner and a pleasant personality. I highly recommend him.

This was my first visit for evaluation for knee replacement. The place was clean, efficient, staff was friendly and wait time was impressive. Very efficient organization. I will leave another review after surgery but for now Im impressed. Doctor Petrow sat down with me and we had a great chat.

I had consistent, and at times almost unbearable left hip pain for the better part of three years prior to the surgery. I am now about 12 weeks post surgery and I have zero hip pain. Amazingly successful are the words I use to describe this surgery.

My experience with the robotic anterior hip replacement with Dr Petrow and his staff was amazing. I am a 50 yr old guy that ran for 30 years and still hike, swim , cycle often . It has been about 3 months since Dr. Petrow and his team completed my partial knee replacement. From my first appointment on, I knew I would be in good hands for this procedure. I couldn’t be any happier with the results.While recovery from any surgery can be a challenge, I believe the special nerve block that they administered ( which I understand is their standard practice ) allowed me to use only the milder OTC pain medications.While they do provide you with the opiate based medications, I was relieved that I didn’t need them.Ample information is made available to you both before and after the surgery. I was especially pleased with how well the assistant, Dr. Prietto,closed the incision. All that have seen it have been amazed with how nearly imperceptible the scar is.If you need any type of similar surgical work, Dr. Petrow, along with his team and the precision of his robotic equipment, is the man to trust.

Dr. Petrow is a very friendly and personable doctor. He explains your situation clearly in a down to earth level. He explains the solution to your healing with assurance and confidence allowing any and all questions to relax the patient. I feel very fortunate to have him as for my attending physician.

This is a very busy orthopaedic practice, so there are sometimes delays in getting seen on time for an appointment; however, once Dr. Petrow enters the patient room, there is no doubt that you ARE being seen AND heard on a personal basis. Thats why I would not have gone to any other doctor when I sensed a problem with my left hip, having had him for my right-hip surgery back in 2014. I trust him implicitly to converse with me, not only about my physical problem but also about my concerned feelings about yet another surgery. He provides an honest, open, sometimes even humorous, conversation that reassures me about his new robotic arm procedure so I leave feeling that all will be well if both of us follow through with the extensive preparation needed for this procedure. What more could I ask for from a doctor be to take such care with me as a patient?!

This was the first time Ive ever been to an . I was able to get an appointment quickly. The staff on the phone and at the office were all friendly and professional. X-rays were taken to help diagnose my problem. The doctor explained the situation and the options I had for treatment. At no time did I feel that he was pushing me into a situation that I didnt feel comfortable with. I would highly recommend this medical practice.

TOI, Dr. Petrow, and their PT department are benchmarks for quality care and compassionate, professional service in Tucson. Ive had numerous shots, knee surgery and rehabilitation that have kept me enjoying sports and life. You cant have any questions that Dr. Petrow wont answer to completely explain your treatment and prognosis. 5 Stars!

Having gone for a year end visit with Dr. Petrow. I have to say was an informative visit that left me with a thorough understanding of my new knee, its expectations, and the way it feels after exercising. Dr. Petrow is a great listener. Very understanding, takes time to explain concerns, and has a lot of patience. His assistant is just as knowledgeable, returns phone calls on the same day and will get you in to see him if you need too. I have recommended anyone with Orthopedic needs to Dr. Petrow.

6 years ago my 84 year old mom had Dr. Petrow preform a hip replacement it was then that I just knew if I ever needed the same I would be giving him a call. Well, I came to him walking with a limp and couldn’t stand or walk for more then 10 minutes without massive pain not only did I need one, but two hip replacements. Dr. Petrow and his team have been great, positive, knowledgeable, and confident from the office team to the operating room team.

The entire hip replacement surgery went perfectly. From the very first meeting I felt that I was in good hands with Dr. Petrow. He is friendly and professional. Explained everything about the surgery to me. His staff is totally organized for an easy way to get the day set and tell me everything to do. The class was helpful and the nurses that guided me through the labs were friendly and very helpful. It was a complete education about the procedure. On surgery day every nurse was kind and helpful. From checked in through pre-op to post surgery. Dr. Petrow came to pre-op and met my husband. After 29 hours I was allowed to return home. Im very happy with my doctor and nurses at Northwest Hospital.
